In this episode, Eric, Todd, and Skeeva tackle the major industry shift as Meta reportedly plans to sunset the VR version of Horizon Worlds in favour of a mobile and AI-centric approach. The team discusses the implications of this pivot for the metaverse and whether the platform's struggle to find a consistent audience marks the end of an era for Meta's original VR vision.
The conversation then moves into a deep dive on the current state of the workforce in 2026. With AI automation rapidly advancing, the crew explores the growing anxiety surrounding job displacement. They examine which industries are being hit hardest, how "agentic" AI is moving beyond simple tasks to handle entire workflows, and whether we are looking at a future of mass unemployment or a massive evolution in how we work. Additional segments include Skeeva’s report on the Pokémon GO Kalos Tour and a look at the latest AR glasses hitting the market.
