The final episode of our From Clean to Gold: Glasgow 2026 podcast series celebrates what can often be overlooked as part of sporting success: the supporters.
After capturing the hearts of Australians with their green-and-gold outfits, infectious energy and viral moments at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Lachlan and Bailey Carter, better known as Those Carter Boys, have become some of Australia's most recognisable sports fans.
What began as a mission to support their step-sister, Olympic swimming champion Kaylee McKeown, has grown into a passion for championing Aussie athletes across every sport. In this episode, they share why being a great supporter is about far more than making noise from the stands. It's about encouragement, respect, positivity and showing up for athletes through both the highs and the lows.
Those Carter Boys discuss the responsibility that comes with a public platform, the importance of clean and fair sport, and why supporting the green and gold should always be about lifting athletes up rather than tearing them down.
Whether you're heading to Glasgow, watching from home, or cheering online, this conversation is a reminder that every athlete performs better when they know their supporters are behind them.
Because being a fan isn't just about celebrating success. It's about creating the kind of sporting culture that helps athletes thrive.
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie...Oi, Oi, Oi!
