What if the key to high performance is not doing more — but learning when to slow down?
In this episode of Let’s Go Win, JM Ryerson sits down with Jay Abbasi, speaker, coach, and host of Unstuck with Jay Abbasi, for a powerful conversation about pressure, performance, leadership, and presence. Jay shares why so many people today are overwhelmed by constant notifications, endless tasks, and the pressure to keep up — and why the human brain was not designed to live in a constant state of “go, go, go.”
Jay also explains how leaders and high achievers can protect their time, create space for creative thinking, and perform at a high level without sacrificing their sanity. From putting your phone on silent, to blocking sacred time on your calendar, to practicing what he calls “mind freeness,” Jay offers practical tools for anyone trying to succeed without burning out.
You’ll also hear Jay’s lessons from Tesla, including how to pivot quickly, let go of the way things were, and create innovative solutions with a strong team. He also shares why great leadership requires patience, vulnerability, and the ability to pause and truly listen before rushing to fix everything.
If you are ambitious, overwhelmed, leading through change, or trying to build a better rhythm in life and business, this episode will challenge you to rethink what productivity, leadership, and success really mean.
