Niko Moon: Choosing Joy, the Grand Ole Opry, and Returning to His Roots

Live backstage from the historic circle at the Grand Ole Opry, Jamie sits down with multi-platinum country artist, songwriter, and producer Niko Moon to celebrate the release of his deeply personal new album, ROOTS (out now via EMPIRE).

Moving past the sun-drenched, coastal escapism of his previous hits like the triple-platinum anthem "GOOD TIME," Niko opens up like never before. He shares his true origin story, detailing his childhood family hardships, growing up in a Georgia trailer home with no electricity, and the hard-earned optimism that shapes both his life and his career today.

In an industry often fixated on superficial milestones and commercial checkmarks, Niko details the exact turning point when he disengaged from the noise to focus on what truly matters: family, mental health, and passing on light to others through his nonprofit, the Happy Cowboy Foundation.
