Front Row Classics is taking a look at one of the most gripping dramas from Warner Brothers in the 1950s. Brandon and Ben Burke are chatting about 1951’s Young Man with a Horn. The movie features one of the earliest landmark performances from Kirk Douglas. Director Michael Curtiz also lands great performances from Doris Day, Hoagy Carmichael and Lauren Bacall (in one of her most subversive performances). Brandon and Ben also discuss the use of jazz and jazz culture in the film.
