Christopher Young is a six-time BMI Award-winning, Golden Globe nominated and two-time Emmy-nominated composer, who has scored more than 160 films spanning every genre and emotional register. Christopher has also collaborated with acclaimed filmmakers such as Norman Jewison, Barry Levinson, Lasse Hallström, Curtis Hanson, John Amiel, and Bruce Robinson. Honored by BBC Classical Magazine as “the greatest horror film composer of our time,” Christopher’s name has become synonymous with the art of cinematic horror. His scores for Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, The Fly II, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge, The Dark Half, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Species, Sinister, Pet Sematary, The Piper, and Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror . Other credits are Spider-Man 3, The Shipping News, Ghost Rider, Jennifer 8,… Recently he wrote the score for the horror film Passenger and Marvel’s Deadpool VR.
