00:01:23
Speaker 2: Mr.
00:01:24
Speaker 1: Andrew Erickson, I missed you. I wasn't here for the Ranked Show. Very disappointed, but I'm very happy to see you again now.
00:01:31
Speaker 2: Likewise, we missed you on all the shows throughout this week, but we did have Terrafillin, very admirably. Well, I had to do Tailgate by myself.
00:01:42
Speaker 1: That's true, that's true. Actually, three shows that you and I do together. My apologies, I forgot about that. We did the Trade Live, the Tailgate Live, and Ranked Show, so that probably felt like a week's worth of shows.
00:01:52
Speaker 2: It really did. So I'm glad that you're back, buddy. Our Thursdays are jam packed with shows between me and you. This is the second of our three total shows. I have four overall that we do because we record our prop show after Thursday night football. A little after dark in terms of a little late night and. It's always interesting because it depends on how the game was and did the props hit or not. Like what kind of vibe is it? But usually it's been, it's been good so far. So looking forward to it, but also looking forward to the extra point questions. And I mean, also to like, you check out my fit, dude, athletics, brother.
00:02:29
Speaker 1: Is that the Fabletic? Yeah.
00:02:32
Speaker 3: Disappointing.
00:02:32
Speaker 1: I didn't get that one here. Oh yeah.
00:02:35
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:02:35
Speaker 1: Our boys Fabletics hooked us up. I'm actually not to be too crazy about it, but I am wearing my Fabletics pants that I'm going to show everybody right now. The, I don't think they sponsored this episode, but shout out to Fabletics because we are so comfy.
00:02:53
Speaker 2: It's like, it's like wearing a cloud, dude. It's, So comfortable. You just feel so nice. And it's starting to get chillier here. It's fall. It's New England. It's been a little bit rainy here. I just throw on my Fabletics. I'm walking the dog in my cool sweats, dude.
00:03:09
Speaker 1: Oh, dude, are you making an extra plug for you want more stuff? I want more stuff. I love I do love it. My wife is super jealous. And we are actually looking.
00:03:18
Speaker 2: Like do we have my wife is my wife is peanut butter and jealous.
00:03:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't even have a read for this. But Definitely, we are both rocking the Fabletics here, and we're going to rock with you guys. You guys. All right, we got tons of questions, so let's get to it. Everybody knows the rules. If we sound rude because we kick someone, it's because they said something about Thursday night football. You can't do that on this show. But you can do everything else. You can't cuss, though. You can talk about how great Erickson looks. You can talk about how red my face looks. You can do whatever you want. You can do anything under the sun. But let's get to it. And first up, it's SALT. I think that broke Cornwallis' streak here. Salt's in the house.
00:03:57
Speaker 2: What's up? What's up, guys?
00:04:00
Speaker 4: Missed you last week. Unfortunately, I have a job that sometimes has 2 p.m. meetings.
00:04:06
Speaker 5: I know, boo.
00:04:07
Speaker 2: Put my questions in the chat.
00:04:08
Speaker 4: But just to start for full PPR, if you have to pick three between Ladd, Emeka, and DJ Moore.
00:04:15
Speaker 6: I don't know if Gonsalves is playing to shadow DJ Moore.
00:04:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, let's start on that one. Oh, and that's for a chopped league, too, right?
00:04:24
Speaker 4: Yeah, but I have Gibbs, so don't worry about the floor.
00:04:27
Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
00:04:28
Speaker 1: Lad is your core here. You know what this comes down to, Erickson? By the way, we've filled this room. This is insane. Are you worried about Jalen Daniels with Emeka Egbuka? Because I kind of am.
00:04:41
Speaker 4: Yeah, so just to clarify, my wide receiver one is Drake London, so I'm playing two more of these guys in wide receiver two and flex.
00:04:48
Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah. I just want to play Egbuka. like he hasn't been good with Baker. He's been a wide receiver three to start the season. I guess it's possible that you could spin it to, well, Jalen Daniels kind of lock him. I guess that's possible, but I think I'm cool missing an egg Buka bounce back game because I think that the risk is he's just even worse with a rookie quarterback on her center, which is traditionally what happens when you get rookie quarterbacks on her center for wide receivers. It usually nukes their fantasy value. So this is an easy bench for Igbuka for me.
00:05:20
Speaker 1: Okay, we're on the same space thing. And also, Christian Gonzalez is kind of banged up right now. And I think DJ Moore was in a limited practice. So yeah, I think we're going Ladd and DJ. And then second question.
00:05:32
Speaker 4: For tight ends, this is the Loveland question. So Loveland, Mark Andrews, or just scream Darren Waller for the matchup?
00:05:40
Speaker 7: Waller.
00:05:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, you're so... I'm Loveland on this one. The backup quarterbacks are finding Loveland. He'll score the touchdown this week, so we're not going to help you there. Did you have more? Because I see more names.
00:05:52
Speaker 4: Yeah, just one. We'll end it on Emmanuel Wilson or Kendrick Miller.
00:05:56
Speaker 2: I will play Emmanuel Wilson.
00:06:02
Speaker 1: He's really good. He's good for the Reds. I think it's Kendrick Miller. I think Kendrick Miller is going to get the early down stuff.
00:06:09
Speaker 2: Against the Falcons who gave up how many yards on the ground to the Packers? No, I'm just saying.
00:06:15
Speaker 1: Okay, the Packers backfield? That awesome backfield of awesome running backs?
00:06:19
Speaker 2: The Saints backfield? The awesome Saints backfield? The Saints can't run the ball either.
00:06:23
Speaker 1: Stop it. Is Kendra Miller, if you put Kendra Miller on the Green Bay Packers, is that the best running back on the Green Bay Packers?
00:06:32
Speaker 2: If you put Emmanuel Wilson on the New Orleans Saints, is he the best running back on the Saints?
00:06:36
Speaker 3: No.
00:06:36
Speaker 1: Well, maybe. But Kendra Miller. I'm Kendra Miller. So I'm going.
00:06:40
Speaker 4: To go with Caleb Johnson on the best running back of the Packers, even with Miller.
00:06:44
Speaker 2: But thank you guys.
00:06:45
Speaker 4: I really appreciate it.
00:06:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's actually a good point.
00:06:48
Speaker 2: I'm taking I'm taking the running back who is competing with a rookie who fumbles every time he touches the football, who two weeks ago had 20 carries and a positive game script against the Chargers.
00:06:59
Speaker 1: What is his?
00:07:00
Speaker 2: That's Emmanuel Wilson.
00:07:01
Speaker 1: What is his problem?
00:07:02
Speaker 2: Jadarian Price. I mean, this was a problem he had in college. And he barely touched the ball.
00:07:06
Speaker 1: I think he's fumbled more in the NFL than he has in all of the NCAA.
00:07:12
Speaker 2: This is why they didn't give him the ball more. It wasn't actually because Jeremiah Love was really good. It was because they were afraid of Price would keep fumbling.
00:07:19
Speaker 1: Low key, can we shout out Salt that we're sitting here screaming about these guys? And Salt's just like, by the way, Caleb Johnson. And it's like, oh yeah, Caleb Johnson actually might be the best of all those.
00:07:29
Speaker 2: You can't run on the Falcons. You can't do it.
00:07:32
Speaker 1: Well, especially when you have the worst collection of running backs in the NFL, kind of hard to also do.
00:07:36
Speaker 2: But they were good, not even before the Packers matchup, the Falcons were good.
00:07:41
Speaker 1: No, the Falcons are good, but the Packers were never good. We can agree on that.
00:07:44
Speaker 2: Oh, yes. I mean, Marshawn Lloyd, under whatever his rushing yards was, blockable locks.
00:07:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, 100%. All right. I just clicked out of something here. This is jail.
00:07:54
Speaker 4: Jeez.
00:07:54
Speaker 1: So what happened?
00:07:56
Speaker 2: In the chat, something about James Pierce.
00:07:58
Speaker 8: Okay.
00:07:58
Speaker 7: All right.
00:07:59
Speaker 1: Let me see. I got to go back. Okay. I, we have so many people in here. We've never had before. I'm getting all these things. It's like, do you want to boost more rooms? And it made me click out of something. So shout out to you guys. I don't know what happened in week four, but y'all here for us.
00:08:11
Speaker 2: All right.
00:08:11
Speaker 1: Salt came in hot. A great first start here. Let's go to Joe premium member of the fantasy pros discord.
00:08:17
Speaker 3: What up?
00:08:19
Speaker 2: Hey, what's up?
00:08:19
Speaker 7: Well, Sean, Andrew, how are you guys doing?
00:08:21
Speaker 1: Good, man.
00:08:21
Speaker 7: Good.
00:08:21
Speaker 1: Mike, by the way, sound great. What's up, man?
00:08:24
Speaker 9: Yes, sir.
00:08:25
Speaker 7: So I got two questions for you guys. It's a start and sit and a trade question. I want to start off with the trade question. Should I trade Bayshel Tootin and Deebo Samuel for Amarion Hampton and Jalen Coker? I'm extremely deep at wide receiver with JSN, Smith, and Collins and have CMC as RB1 and Josh Allen. So I just want to see what you guys think about that.
00:08:46
Speaker 1: Oh, I love this one because Erickson, we're 100%. Can we squad rod that we want Tootin over Hampton rest of season?
00:08:56
Speaker 2: I don't think, yeah. I got him ranked ahead of him rest of the season.
00:09:03
Speaker 1: But Jalen Coker or Debo. So what side of this trade do you like?
00:09:10
Speaker 2: I like the Tootin side, so I would stay because I think that he's the best piece of this entire deal. And because he plays running back, that moves the needle. So even though you're getting an upgrade with Coker over Debo, Coker is also currently hurt again. Devo has some short-term value. because all the receivers are hurt on the 49ers. We know Debo's, his production's not going to last all year, and the fact that he got zero targets last week was kind of weird, even though he had an 80-yard lateral touchdown.
00:09:39
Speaker 1: Zero targets, but 80 yards.
00:09:42
Speaker 2: You know, it's funny, he had like 80, it was like his stat line, 80 receiving yards, no targets.
00:09:46
Speaker 1: Longest touchdown, longest, what was it, most receiving yards without a reception, which, by the way, is the nuttiest stat, and it's like, who's what do you mean receiving yards i wasn't receiving yards it should be like shouldn't that have been rushing yards technically if the ball was i don't lateral.
00:10:05
Speaker 2: I think because it was a pass play yeah.
00:10:07
Speaker 1: But then he threw it backwards like the idea if a quarterback throws a ball behind the line of scrimmage then that is considered a like a run.
00:10:16
Speaker 2: Well, what was it in the game? What was the official stat line?
00:10:19
Speaker 1: It was receiving yards. Because it was the NFL record, the most receiving yards without a reception in NFL history.
00:10:25
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:10:27
Speaker 1: All right.
00:10:28
Speaker 2: We like the two inside.
00:10:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, we want to keep that.
00:10:30
Speaker 9: Okay.
00:10:30
Speaker 7: I'll stay. Yeah, just for the start and sit. So I have Jawan Johnson and Tucker Kraft, and I have PPR League. And I want to know, do I continue to start Johnson for the foreseeable future? And what are your guys' thoughts on Kraft? Is he just a hold for an hour, like, yeah so I just want to see what you guys think about that and that's all I had for you guys.
00:10:46
Speaker 1: Thanks Joe appreciate it dude good question on craft because it has been weird like big Tucker craft podcast here but the Packers have just been kind of in general except my only problem with being anti craft at any point is what we talked about with salt the running game is like the worst like when is it going to get better Josh Jacobs is never coming back now at this point they're just going to be throwing all season long and they're going to get him involved So, like, I don't want to give up on Kraft, and I think long-term he's still the play. But for the foreseeable future, you have a tight end. This is my take. You have a tight end. It's kind of like the Emeka Igbuka question. You have a tight end that is good, like Salt had a wide receiver that is good. And if you miss out on the Kraft breakout game for Jawan Johnson, like we were saying DJ Moore over Emeka, I think I'm okay with that. And also, he is ranked higher, by the way, this week. Jawan Johnson is eight. And Kraft is nine on the consensus. What say you though, Mr. Andrew Erickson?
00:11:46
Speaker 2: I think it's a good problem to have. I think that Jawan Johnson can just be your guy that you start week in and week out for the foreseeable future. Possible that his involvement changes when and if Jordan Tyson comes back to the New Orleans Saints. Jordan Tyson's still an amazing stash. Considering how good the Saints offense has been, how productive they've been for fantasy. If that guy comes back and is healthy... you could potentially see a second half league winner in Jordan Tyson. So if he's out there on waivers, he was dropped, didn't get drafted because he's been hurt. Just something to kind of keep in mind. But with craft, we have to remember that the Packers told us that he was going to be slow to start the year because he's coming off of his ACL injury. And although the snaps have up, have gone up in recent weeks to say, You still can't expect the guy to be as explosive as he was last year when that was how he got his fantasy points. It was all yards after the catch. That's why Tucker Kraft does that his best. He was super efficient. Has not been super efficient so far this season. So I think that you just keep Kraft on the bench right now. I think his production will improve because the Packers don't have any underneath targets because they just put Jaden Reed on injured reserve. So when it comes to who's the first underneath guy, I think that's going to be Kraft. And he's coming off such a bad game. I think they're going to be motivated to get him more involved after he had a couple drops, called out the fans for booing the offense when they were playing poorly. So clearly he's going to be motivated to play better in this matchup. And against the Minnesota Vikings, the Buccaneers, another very blitz-happy defense, similar to when the Packers played the Minnesota Vikings earlier this season. Kraft could be that first read a lot of the time for Jordan Love if he's trying to get the ball out quick. to mitigate the blitz from Todd Bowles. So I like Kraft this week not as much as Juwan Johnson, but I think better days are ahead for the Packers tight end.
00:13:36
Speaker 1: Samesies. I was just looking. He was running route percentage or route run. It was like 47% in week one for Kraft. Week two, it went up to 75%. And last week, it was just under 70%. So he's at a total of 62.9%. So like right there.
00:13:48
Speaker 10: So.
00:13:54
Speaker 1: I think it is moving in a more positive direction. I think they're going to continue to have to pass. And I, I, I think you actually just said it bad.
00:14:00
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:14:00
Speaker 1: Best better days are ahead for Tucker.
00:14:03
Speaker 2: They can't run the ball and that's not going to change. If it's, he was talking about the tailgate show where they're signing guards off the street to try to salvage this offensive line. That is a total disaster. And why they've been struggling so much to run the football.
00:14:21
Speaker 1: Jorge, the lefty, premium member of the fantasy bros discord what's up jorge.
00:14:27
Speaker 10: Yo two questions one i'm not doing great at tight end uh i ended up picking up waller for the matchup but sadiq is also available so trying to figure out If this is going to be my tight end going forward, Schultz is also available, but this is basically bottom of the barrel scraping. Would you go with Waller for the matchup this week, hope Sadiq doesn't break out and he's no longer available? Or would you just say, screw it, let's just get Sadiq to have a potential more long-term play?
00:14:56
Speaker 1: Erickson, I'm going to go to you, but before I do, Sadiq is 11 in Fantasy Bros. consensus ranks and Darren Waller is 16, but I know you are a big Darren Waller guy.
00:15:09
Speaker 2: Yes, but in terms of rest of season, Darren Waller is not your.
00:15:15
Speaker 10: Yeah, do you take the risk of picking Waller because he's got a great matchup?
00:15:22
Speaker 2: I would only... So I like Waller more than Sadiq this week specifically, but that's only if I had both guys on my roster already. I would not pick up Darren Waller hoping that he can be my tight end all year long because... We've done this before. He's going to probably play another month and then get hurt and then be on injured reserve. This is what Darren Waller does.
00:15:42
Speaker 1: I will say it's very interesting that after Sadiq's game, he's still available.
00:15:48
Speaker 11: That actually speaks well to you. He kind of did already break out.
00:15:52
Speaker 1: To the point, if you want to make the argument of like, oh, well, I hope he doesn't have a good week this week. Well, he had an amazing week last week. So what's going to be the impetus for him to be picked up? I think the safest thing is taking Sadiq, but there is something to be said about your league that if they're not picking him up after he drops a hundo and a touchdown, then like maybe he sits one more. If you like Waller, like Erickson does over Sadiq this week, but the ECR does have Sadiq as a tight end one and Waller's not.
00:16:18
Speaker 2: So, yeah, I mean, it's also close enough where they can score very similar and you'd rather have Sadiq for the long-term upside. I mean, I think that we're overthinking this probably. I mean, Sadiq is a, We're not overthinking it. We're just talking through it. It's Sadiq. It's Sadiq.
00:16:34
Speaker 10: If there's any more context, I'm like a 10-point underdog based on Fantasy Pro's projections this year, this week in this matchup. So is that too much of a gap where you don't even think Waller could potentially make it? So just take the L this week and get Sadiq? Or do you think that upside potential is worth it to try to geek out a win I might not otherwise get?
00:16:51
Speaker 1: So wait, is that 10-point underdog with Waller in your lineup?
00:16:56
Speaker 10: Yeah, with Waller in my lineup, exactly.
00:16:58
Speaker 1: I mean, the funny thing is Waller could easily have a two-touchdown game and he could pop back up. But I just think it's Sadiq. Also, Adonai Mitchell is still daisy with all that stuff.
00:17:07
Speaker 2: He's already dull. I mean, look, I'm moving Sadiq ahead of Waller.
00:17:11
Speaker 1: Okay, cool.
00:17:12
Speaker 2: That's just what we're doing. We're doing Sadiq. I mean, Waller's a good play, too, but Sadiq already broke out last week. Mason Taylor's probably not going to play again. There's no Adonai Mitchell again. They're facing the Bears. Yeah, just play Sadiq.
00:17:25
Speaker 6: Cool.
00:17:25
Speaker 1: What was the other one?
00:17:27
Speaker 10: So the other one is I never typically have two QBs on the team for one QB league, but I've got T-Law and Dak right now. And a league mate of mine who's 0-3, he just lost his quarterback for the season. He's debating giving up Cook. He's currently streaming Donald right now, and he said he's potentially interested. My running backs are CMC and Scadabo. Is Cook worth crafting some kind of deal where I ship off Dak and say like Higgins for a Cook in a Golden situation? Or is Cook just getting vultured too many touchdowns and maybe that's not the right play to ship off Dak at this point?
00:18:09
Speaker 1: I like it. The Higgins made me go, eh. But Golden's a good, solid return. I think I'm doing that. I think the upgrade of that elite of a running back, you're taking a downgrade at the wide receiver to Golden from a wide receiver two to maybe more of a wide receiver three. Where Higgins has wide receiver at one upside, Golden probably has wide receiver two upside. I do not care about the quarterback. Cam, I'm lightening up a little bit on, but James Cook is, yeah, I'm working through that. I'm doing that trade.
00:18:38
Speaker 2: Also doing that trade.
00:18:38
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:18:40
Speaker 2: Jorge. So it is.
00:18:40
Speaker 1: Construct it. Let us know if you're able to pull that together.
00:18:44
Speaker 2: All right.
00:18:44
Speaker 1: Rain Man. Rain Man, what up? What's going on, gents?
00:18:49
Speaker 8: Come back to you the following week. Still dying on a vine due to long-term injuries. and a terrible start-sit decision last week.
00:18:56
Speaker 1: What was the bad start-sit?
00:18:59
Speaker 6: Oh, I don't even want to admit it, but I.
00:19:02
Speaker 8: Played the matchup, which I never played the matchups, and started May over Lawrence and woke up Monday morning.
00:19:10
Speaker 6: Well, I woke up Monday. I was down. It doesn't matter, but I woke up Monday morning with a Broncos pick-six touchdown. That would have given me the win had I started Lawrence over May.
00:19:18
Speaker 10: Okay, so it's that.
00:19:20
Speaker 1: You do not have to be ashamed about that. That hurts. That absolutely hurts when that happens. Believe me, we have all been there. We've been there this season. You see the one move and you're like, freaking freckle. But no one's going to blame you there. I thought May was going to bounce back last week. I thought you were going to be like, I don't know, you started some loser quarterback over like Brock Purdy or something like that. That's nothing to be ashamed of.
00:19:45
Speaker 6: Oh, I did start a loser quarterback.
00:19:46
Speaker 2: That's the problem. I set that up perfectly.
00:19:49
Speaker 1: Too true.
00:19:50
Speaker 6: Erickson, we were so high on May and I got AJ. So that was like, that's killing me. So, but anyways, two quick questions.
00:19:59
Speaker 8: One, just a receiver outlook, not sexy names, but between Addison and Jacoby Myers, I just like that those guys don't leave the field.
00:20:07
Speaker 6: They're like 80% plus every week.
00:20:09
Speaker 8: And I do have Lawrence now, the guy that had ETN only has Gente, so he's dying for some combination.
00:20:17
Speaker 6: So what's your thoughts with Addison and Kyler? He's only one of.
00:20:21
Speaker 8: Really two viable Vikings receivers, with or without JJ. Addison was scoring last week. Is he worth a hold, or should I package him up? And same with Myers. BTJ is irrelevant at this point, as we've been talking about all year, so... He might have some up and downs, but again, he doesn't leave the field either.
00:20:39
Speaker 6: So just curious on your outlook on those two. And I have one other quick one.
00:20:43
Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, good. I'll hold you there. I'll just say this. If I'm going to trade Addison, it's after this week, after he plays the Dolphins, and he has 130 yards and two touchdowns from Kyler Murray. So I would consider the trade after they go against the worst secondary in the NFL. Erickson, any thoughts on either? Maybe here's a better question. Which one do you want to hold more if you were to hold one?
00:21:05
Speaker 2: Irish. Easy? Yeah, I think that he is going to net you less in a trade anyway. So you're going to get more for Addison, to your point. If you do it after the Miami Dolphins game, you may not even have to do it because he's coming off a big game already and Jefferson's already banged up and people know that the Miami Dolphins matchup is good. So it's one of these things where you can kind of almost trade him with the baked-in production that he's going to get most likely against Miami. Jacoby Myers is so solid. I think he would also see a significant upgrade in terms of targets if Parker Washington were to get hurt. something along those lines, because Myers always steps up, he's always productive, and Brian Thomas Jr. is not a focal point of this Jags passing game. So Myers is the clear-cut number two number receiver, and in games where the Jaguars are pushed a little bit more, I think Myers is going to be more involved. Like, you look at the last couple games that they've played, it's blowout against the Browns, Denver Broncos on the road, tough matchup, and then blowout against the Patriots. And Jacoby Myers was really good against the Patriots. So I would rather keep Myers, especially because you already have Trevor Lawrence. I like that stack. And I think you'll get more for Addison.
00:22:10
Speaker 1: I like it. What was your other question?
00:22:12
Speaker 6: So I just listened to the ranking show. So this is ideal timing.
00:22:15
Speaker 8: Erickson, I heard you talking about it's impossible to rank neighbors right now.
00:22:19
Speaker 6: I don't think JJ is any upgrade to even Jameis.
00:22:22
Speaker 8: And I could easily see, especially when it gets cold, that neighbor's shoulder suddenly starts to hurt more and things like that. So between him or Downs, I like downs, but he's kind of just that low.
00:22:34
Speaker 6: Yardage below a dot.
00:22:35
Speaker 8: I did hear your guys's point that his ADOT has went from like seven to 11 or something.
00:22:39
Speaker 6: So that's nice.
00:22:40
Speaker 8: But between those two, if you were going to target one of them season long, who do you like?
00:22:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, man. Neighbors is a tough cookie to crack because as even though you can paint the optimistic picture about maybe how it could be better with McCarthy, McCarthy also was so bad last year for Justin Jefferson that I just can't get that out of my mind. And how frustrated Jefferson was. Imagine that being Malik name, like that's not farfetched, right? Welsh to think this could be a complete disaster.
00:23:15
Speaker 1: So writings on the wall, I'd rather just grab her.
00:23:17
Speaker 2: I'd rather just go with Josh.
00:23:19
Speaker 1: So like, if you were to be like in a vacuum, I want neighbors. He's more talented, but why Josh Downs is fun. is I love the matchup this week, by the way, it's a graded out. One of the better matchups, Josh, I was praying Josh down receptions. We're going to be at 4.5. They're, they're juiced at 5.5, but I still might take them. You better not have them on the prop sheet this week. Do you have Josh?
00:23:40
Speaker 2: No, I have a different, I have a different receiver in that game.
00:23:42
Speaker 1: Okay. But Josh, the, the, the, the cost cost equity, Josh down is going to cost you so much less than neighbors that I, I co-sign like go trade for downs. Cause I think he just costs a bunch more. And things are turning in a relatively positive direction. Good questions. Cool questions. What's up, Cornwallis? What up?
00:24:01
Speaker 5: Hey, what's up, guys?
00:24:02
Speaker 1: Got a real question and a silly fake question.
00:24:04
Speaker 2: Okay, great question. What was the worst play, the Drake May blood fumble or the Mark Sanchez butt fumble?
00:24:10
Speaker 1: Okay, well, hold on. Let's sit on that for a second. Blood fumble or butt? I don't know. Butt fumble is pretty bad.
00:24:18
Speaker 2: Butt fumble, especially on Thanksgiving. The kids were watching. The whole family was watching. Everyone's talking about it for weeks.
00:24:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. It's a butt fumble, but it's a good, it's a good question.
00:24:29
Speaker 2: Okay. Sorry. I was just being straight.
00:24:31
Speaker 1: No, it's important, but important things.
00:24:33
Speaker 2: The real question is Dalton Schultz or Britain strange.
00:24:38
Speaker 1: I just feel like Dalton Schultz is ranked higher, but his usage was completely bonkers last week.
00:24:42
Speaker 2: And I don't really know what to make of it. And I kind of like strangers matchup. Yeah.
00:24:46
Speaker 1: That's funny. You say that Bogman is massively big on Britain strange this week. due to matchup. So that might be the play. I'm a little, I mean, Nico's back. Schultz just kind of goes by the wayside a little bit. I'm down playing the theoretical upside of Brenton Strange. What do you think?
00:25:03
Speaker 2: I agree. Clean sweep with Brenton Strange. I'm glad that Boggs has talked about it, liking Strange. I've listened to a lot of different NFL shows this week, and they've talked about the Bengals' weakness on their defense. And this doesn't come as a surprise to us fantasy players because we've been attacking tight ends at the Bengals for the last several years, but it's this spine of their defense, the middle of the field that you rip apart. And Liam Cohen knows that. And they've actually been talking up Brett and strange a decent amount about, Hey, we still want to get this guy more involved. So squeaky wheel, positive matchup, a player that they like to feature in the end zone in the red zone area. And similar to the Jacoby Myers usage of how he's always on the field, Brent strange has one of the highest route participations among tight ends. So plays every single snap targets haven't flowed his way. Cause it's really just been the Parker Washington show, but the Bengals do have a couple of decent corners and Washington gets locked up a little bit more. You're going to see strange eat over the middle. So Schultz showed last week that he's not this super dynamic tight end. That's always going to be featured. And also Nick Haley is the office coordinator and somehow doesn't use Schultz against a terrible Colts defense. That's terrible against tight ends. And Nico being back obviously changes the equation pretty significantly and for someone like Dolan Schultz. So yeah, strange all the way.
00:26:23
Speaker 1: Strange all the way. I want to tell you guys before we get to more questions about Polymarket. It's a stock exchange for sports, buying in and selling out on your terms. When your team goes down to 20%, you can buy in and sell it off at 40% when they come back to double your money. They're so confident that you'll never go back to the other guys. They're giving you a free $ 25 on your first trade when you deposit just 10 bucks. And now they've even launched this new feature called Squads. It's group chat where you can see what everyone is trading on. So download the Polymarket app today and use code FPPOD when you sign up. That's code FPPOD to get $ 25 free after you deposit just $ 10. All right, let's go to our boy, manliness. What's up, man? Hey, guys.
00:27:14
Speaker 12: Thanks for taking my question. I'm curious about full PPR. I'm deciding between starting Aaron Jones or Jalen Waddle. At least a little while ago, I saw Andrew had Aaron Jones higher and Welsh, you had Waddle higher. I was curious if you could maybe have that discussion a little bit. And if you have time, I'm also just wondering what you're thinking about Waddle sort of season-long perspective, I felt like. We had that first week where he wasn't involved and the second week was great. And then this third week, you know, decent number of targets, but disappointing score. Do you see his trajectory kind of going up or down or just going back and forth over the course of the season?
00:27:48
Speaker 1: Yeah. So the 49ers, their secondary has definitely played up. They grade out well, you know, Lenore and everything. But the thing that works well, I actually want to see this percentage before I talk too far out of one side of my mouth. is really about being able to tackle Upton Stout. I know Pat Bryan has been more of a primary slot guy, but Waddle is going to move through and do that. And you can beat Upton Stout. And coverage grades have Stout more on him. So if he's playing on the outside, it doesn't work like the best situation because of how Green and Lenore have played. But I'm confident they're going to play him more on the upside. You can pass against the 49ers. They're not gonna be able to establish much of a, I mean, I guess their running game has been disaster-ish and you can run against the Niners in some capacity, but the Niners give up big, deep plays. It's what they do. And Jalen Waddell is great after the catch. I think just Waddell's in a phenomenal situation here. So I think this is the start of him getting right. The long-term question is kind of interesting, but what do you think about, I mean, you can do Aaron Jones versus Waddell here, but I don't think you and I have talked about Jalen Waddell in a little while.
00:29:02
Speaker 2: This is the Jalen waddle experience. Unfortunately, it's a lot of really high highs and then a lot of really low lows. We were disappointed. It's only been three weeks and we know the Broncos offense has not reached its full form. So the fact that he has at least had one good game is at least encouraging and that he's been more involved the last two weeks versus week one, which I think definitely looks more like an anomaly than anything else, how little involvement he got. Broncos still haven't really run the ball.
00:29:31
Speaker 1: 52% out of the slot, by the way. I just wanted to throw that in because I was there early 52% out of the slot which will be upped and stout.
00:29:37
Speaker 2: Yeah so I think Waddle is always going to be a boom or bust type of play most weeks matchup is favorable like you kind of outlined but Aaron Jones seems like he's pretty secure with what his role is going to be as long as Jordan Mason is sidelined they have talked about getting Claiborne a little bit more involved and eventually they're not gonna be able to give Aaron Jones 20 touches because Frankly, the guy can't handle that every single week. He's just going to break down. And I don't think they hate Aaron Jones that much. They love Aaron Jones. I don't think they want to necessarily feature him in this much, but just based on their backfield, they're kind of forcing their hand a little bit. And it's also the Dolphins. I did talk about in the rink show how the Dolphins' defense against the run's actually not that terrible. They're just really, really bad against the pass. And that's why teams just don't like to throw on them because none of their guys can cover in any way, shape, or form. When Rashi Rice... Is five yards open against all of your defensive backs? That just kind of tells you how bad the secondary is at covering their players because Rashi Rice is not an elite separator by any way, shape, or form. So I think it's a floor-ceiling conversation. I think Aaron Jones comes with a much higher floor, and I think there is a little bit of ceiling, too, with him because it is a Dolphins team that's going to allow the Vikings to have a lot of red zone opportunities. So I just see the path for Aaron Jones being pretty easy, whereas Waddle, I think, just comes with a larger range of outcomes. That's why I slightly have Jones ahead of Waddle.
00:31:01
Speaker 1: Waddle's pretty favorable. Fantasy Pro's projections run five catches for over 60 yards receiving, which is good. Do you have any take on the long-term thing? I mean, did you already kind of hit where you wanted with that? Do you think Waddle can be a top 20 wide receiver rest of season?
00:31:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. I think that's definitely in his range of outcomes, as we like to say. It's just a matter of the Bo Nix ride. He's a rollercoaster quarterback.
00:31:27
Speaker 1: Would you make a bet that he was a top 20 wide receiver rest of season?
00:31:30
Speaker 2: Definitely had him in my top 20 receivers entering draft season. And he's got one good game, one really bad game, one so-so game. So I'm not willing to jump off the Waddle bandwagon. So, yeah, I would say top 20. Let's see, rest of season rankings. See if I can put my money where my mouth is. I have Jalen Waddle as my wide receiver 20.
00:31:49
Speaker 1: Hey, look at that. Just like we planned it. Perfect, perfect. Love it.
00:31:54
Speaker 2: All right.
00:31:55
Speaker 1: Coquille, I think, is what it is. This is a phenomenal picture of Nicolas Cage from Face Off.
00:32:01
Speaker 2: What up, dude?
00:32:03
Speaker 13: Hey, what's going on, guys?
00:32:04
Speaker 1: Did I say it right? I know we did that before.
00:32:06
Speaker 2: Oh, it's Coquille. No, I'm good.
00:32:08
Speaker 14: It's all right.
00:32:10
Speaker 1: I'm stupid. All right.
00:32:11
Speaker 7: No, no, you're good.
00:32:11
Speaker 1: Make a note.
00:32:12
Speaker 2: All right.
00:32:12
Speaker 1: What do you got?
00:32:13
Speaker 6: Well, actually, really quick.
00:32:16
Speaker 14: Erickson, no Face Off yet?
00:32:18
Speaker 2: No, he doesn't. I've seen Face Off.
00:32:20
Speaker 1: That was the beginning of the season. Yeah, we opened the season.
00:32:23
Speaker 2: Actually, the artwork.
00:32:24
Speaker 1: If people haven't seen it on Discord.
00:32:26
Speaker 2: There's a shirt.
00:32:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, there's actually a shirt where our art guy, it's not AI. I don't know, maybe they did. But it's me and Erickson remaking the face-off picture, like the artwork from the DVD. And it is on a shirt on the Fantasy Pro store right now. And that is our artwork because Erickson finally committed to seeing it. I'm not sure if a single human being has purchased said shirt, but it is available out there.
00:32:55
Speaker 6: I completely missed that.
00:32:56
Speaker 4: All right, cool.
00:32:57
Speaker 14: I have to look that up more importantly. So I'm sitting here. Well, let me go straight to this team. It's my wife's team that I helped draft and there she's 0-3. Put the team roster on the chat to look at. A lot of injuries just kind of piled up on this team. AJ Brown and Nico Collins, especially.
00:33:17
Speaker 2: I know it's a broad question, man, but I mean, are we in panic mode?
00:33:22
Speaker 14: Should I start trying to help her make trades and get out of this funk?
00:33:26
Speaker 1: Is this like an 0-3 team?
00:33:28
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:33:28
Speaker 6: Yeah.
00:33:29
Speaker 1: Oh, okay. I didn't hear that. Okay. Very good question. I like how his screenshot, too, has like a slight little picture of just me, like my chest that's attached to it. That's making me laugh. He's got Burrow, James Cook, Henderson, Egbuka, Collins, Kittle. You got Tate at flex on the bench. Guys like Coker, Loveland. So, I mean, in like a perfect world, ironically, it's weird you have Loveland and Kittle. You had this great Loveland pick. You would have Coker in or Jordan Mason or Jadarian Price. Like a lot of things have not worked in your favor. Emeka has been down. Nico Collins has been hurt. It's still just like a strong team, though. And A.J. Brown, he's got on the IR. Like, do you want to blow stuff up or do you want to make a big major change? Or do you want to be like, hey, this is the week it's going to bounce back with some of these guys? Because there's only so much longer he can wait or she can wait.
00:34:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think, too, it does really depend on the players and the context, because every right every 0-3 team has its own story.
00:34:27
Speaker 9: Right.
00:34:28
Speaker 2: We can kind of think about what a lot of 0-3 teams look like. They look like, I drafted A.J. Brown. I drafted Puka Nakua. I drafted Nico Collins. Like, that's the very common theme with these teams. But this week in particular, week four, it looks like Puka's going to come back and play. it looks like Nico's going to come back and play. So that's giving you an opportunity to, okay, I invested a lot of draft capital into these players and now I get a chance to actually play them and they are in good spots. Like Nico Collins is facing the Dallas Cowboys this week. So you haven't had in the last couple of weeks, that's probably been part of the reason why you haven't won any of your recent matchups because you're missing your top receiver. You haven't had AJ Brown, but you have depth. So you have Jalen Coker. You have Carnell Tate as an option that you can use. You have George Kittle as a tight end to fill the void that, Holston Loveland has not been able to produce in. So I don't look at this roster and think, oh, this roster is dead on arrival. I think it's a roster that you could see having more favorable production down the stretch. Even a guy like Joe Burrow. We know Joe Burrow traditionally doesn't play well to start the season. Now he's in week four. It's a good matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
00:35:32
Speaker 1: I love this one.
00:35:32
Speaker 9: So.
00:35:34
Speaker 2: I think when I look at this roster, right, it's like Henderson has RB two. Okay. Like you have a bunch of RB twos that have kind of jittering price. Jordan Mason got hurt. Okay. Like RB two is probably your biggest hole, but like throwing Henderson out there as like a flex play. I mean, it's not the worst thing in the world, right? Especially I assume that this is like a 12 team league. So there are much worse flex plays that you could have than a Travion Henderson. So yeah, I don't really think that you would blow it up. I mean, Agbuka now with the quarterback injury, that makes him a tough click. Maybe wide receiver depth.
00:36:05
Speaker 1: Said it was 10 team.
00:36:06
Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, 10 team league. Okay. So yeah, so that does definitely make it.
00:36:10
Speaker 1: You know what I would do? Like I would, I would test the waters to try to do something at RB. And let me throw this at you. Like what if you could take, you have a, cause here's the problem. You don't have a surplus of a lot of things, but you have a surplus of tight ends. I actually like leveling this week. What if you could take a Kittle who's ranked really high and then you could pair with a Jadarian price and go get like a Jalen Warren. You know what I mean? Like something like that. Like you're not going high end on, and obviously that team would need a tight end to want Kittle, but get a running back of that ilk and then try to get a more stable RB two and trade from some of that depth. And, you know, maybe you could do better than what I just laid out there, but yeah, That's, I think, what I would be trying to do because it's like, what's your other strength? Nico Collins is back. Do you want to trade from that? You're still without A.J. Brown. But I don't want to blow anything up. I would just try to consolidate maybe a little bit from that strength and see if somehow I could upgrade that RB2.
00:37:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think an interesting trade you could make is trying to get Aaron Jones, knowing that. A manager might want to try to offload him because his production is really high right now, but we all understand that his production is going to fall off when the other running backs get healthy, and you already have Jordan Mason on your roster. So you get the Aaron Jones production now to help you win now, and then when Jordan Mason comes back, you can use him as your RB2. So you're just mixing in Vikings running back in that RB2 slot. And I think, too, there's enough pieces here where Egbuka plus something could probably get you a player like Aaron Jones, Jalen Coker could probably get you a player like Aaron. Like, again, I don't want to trade Coker, but you need an RV too.
00:37:49
Speaker 1: If they need it. Yeah.
00:37:52
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:37:53
Speaker 3: Okay.
00:37:54
Speaker 1: So there you go. There you go. You got that llama. What's up?
00:37:58
Speaker 14: Llama.
00:37:59
Speaker 2: Llama.
00:38:00
Speaker 15: Yo, it's my first time here. Thanks for taking my question. But I'm in a full PPR keeper league and I had a trade question.
00:38:08
Speaker 2: Put my current roster in the chat as well.
00:38:10
Speaker 15: I'd basically be sending Puka Nakua, Quinshawn Judkins, and Rashad Bateman, and I receive safe flowers and Chuba Hubbard.
00:38:18
Speaker 2: Yep.
00:38:19
Speaker 1: Sorry, hold on, hold on. You just said yep quick. You send Puka, Judkins, and Bateman. So it's essentially Judkins and Puka to get flowers and Chuba.
00:38:31
Speaker 6: Yes, yeah.
00:38:32
Speaker 15: And I put my current roster in the chat too.
00:38:34
Speaker 1: Okay, but Erickson, it's a keeper lead.
00:38:38
Speaker 2: Do you want Zay Flowers or Puka Nakua for the rest of their careers?
00:38:42
Speaker 1: Right now, I want Puka.
00:38:45
Speaker 2: Do you? Yeah.
00:38:46
Speaker 1: That's what I'm confused. You're like, yes, absolutely. And then Judkins versus Chuba. I mean, I don't want Chuba right now, but those are two young assets. I don't think you're.
00:38:59
Speaker 2: I would not be keeping.
00:39:00
Speaker 15: Real quick, I would not be keeping Puka because that took him first round, obviously. And this is the first year we're doing Keeper.
00:39:06
Speaker 2: Oh, there you go.
00:39:07
Speaker 1: Peace out. So super important context.
00:39:11
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:39:11
Speaker 9: Yeah.
00:39:12
Speaker 1: Because if I, I want, I mean, I guess it's interesting. I didn't realize that you would take flowers, Erickson over Puka and I'm taking Puka for sure. Regardless of his nonsense, but.
00:39:22
Speaker 2: Well, I think that's, that's what weighs me. Cause he has, I mean, he's talked actively about wanting to retire early.
00:39:27
Speaker 9: Yes.
00:39:28
Speaker 2: That concerns me about. someone that long-term yet. He doesn't have the contract yet from the, I mean, the Rams have been kind of dragging their feet with signing him to a long-term extension contract, which is still not happened. Whereas they flowers that dude is locked up to Lamar Jackson for the long-term and he's only played like one and a half games. So dude, You've seen the thing with Zay Flowers and how many yards he's averaging this year per route run?
00:39:52
Speaker 1: No, but it's probably like 27 or something.
00:39:55
Speaker 2: It's not nine. Nine yards. It's freaking ridiculous. And he has like a 50% target share when he's running a route.
00:40:02
Speaker 1: No, the first game helped a lot. So I don't know. And then Judkins and Chuba. I want Judkins and Dynasty over. But getting to keep Zay Flowers. I guess Lama we probably should have asked. It would have just been fun to know. And by the way, thank you for the question. Like what round is Zay Flowers? You know, because if you want to ask of like production rest of season, if that, if Zay Flowers is also really not, I mean, he didn't say Zay Flowers isn't keepable, but if he's a second rounder, that's a little different. But yeah, I think you can do that trade. That's a fine trade. It's a good one. Important, super important context of knowing that you can't keep Puka. We got a lot of questions this week and we'll probably try to go into lightning rounds. Everybody kind of keep that in mind as we move forward with these last ones. 00:41:18
Speaker 7: Do it.
00:41:19
Speaker 1: Don't just do it for, don't do it for us. Don't do it for me.
00:41:23
Speaker 2: Do it for yourself.
00:41:25
Speaker 1: Or you can do it for Erickson too. It's a nice gesture if you want to do that. All right, Nick. What up, Nick?
00:41:31
Speaker 2: Hey, guys.
00:41:32
Speaker 5: Appreciate you as always. Send my team in. I'm 0-3, but I feel like it's starting to come together. Just curious what your thoughts are on the construction. You were super helpful last week with getting Kyler and Stafford onto the team. I think the Kyler thing, I don't really trust it over Stafford anymore, but... although the matchup this week is good, but anyway, just curious what you think of the construction at Owen three again, like the question earlier, do I try and blow it up? Do I try and make moves or do I just study the shit?
00:42:05
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:42:06
Speaker 1: I'm Kyler this week, by the way, over Stafford. I don't know where you sit on that.
00:42:10
Speaker 2: Uh, yes.
00:42:12
Speaker 3: Yes.
00:42:12
Speaker 14: Okay.
00:42:13
Speaker 1: Well, just make sure everybody sees dicey. Bogman was like dicey about it too. And it's just like, it's, it's.
00:42:18
Speaker 2: An old time matchup. The dolphins are just so bad.
00:42:20
Speaker 1: So bad.
00:42:22
Speaker 2: Like I Kyler, Like, he can miss five throws against them, and then he'd just get five throws that he would hit.
00:42:27
Speaker 10: Yeah.
00:42:28
Speaker 2: They just can't cover. Or no one's open.
00:42:30
Speaker 1: He'll just run for 50, 100%.
00:42:32
Speaker 2: That's also true. I mean, he was running around last week, even after the concussion. So I think that the matchup's too good.
00:42:39
Speaker 1: I think what he's talking about here with his roster is, like, Burden finally got involved again, and then Jeremiah Love is trending in the right direction. So that's why this team is moving through. So he's got Stafford, Bijan Love, Burden, McConkie, Laporta, Addison. Your bench stinks though. I don't remember how big this team is. Like why is conception and lemon like only it, but you're in a great spot for this week. I am blowing anything up this week. You got love versus the giants. Addison is in your flex versus Miami. You could, I mean, I'm, I'm, I'm all, I'm all games. He's here with this. I don't think I want to blow anything up here, but I do want some other wide receivers, please.
00:43:17
Speaker 2: I think I would probably not keep two defenses.
00:43:20
Speaker 10: Yeah.
00:43:20
Speaker 1: I saw that.
00:43:21
Speaker 9: Yeah.
00:43:21
Speaker 2: I would, Yeah, unless your league requires you to do that, I don't think it's worth holding onto the Bengals' defense to stream the Bears' defense. Add more depth, right? We just talked about it. I get that Lemon and Concepcion are rookies that we're holding out hope for, but he said that he's going to try to stream Cincinnati next week. So, I mean, if that's what you want to do, that's fine. If there's no depth on waivers, then that's fine too. But I would say, like, I like... prioritizing defensive streamers for the following week. If there really is nothing on waivers.
00:43:56
Speaker 9: Yeah.
00:43:56
Speaker 2: That's really, because whenever you prioritize defensives, a lot of times you get burned because defenses are some of the most, have the most variance a lot of the time when it comes to what they do on a week by week basis, because it's so turnover based. So if there is anything else available, it says Keenan's on waivers. Do you want Keenan Allen on your roster? I mean, that doesn't really move the needle for me.
00:44:18
Speaker 1: So, Yeah, I think that's fine. Good spot. Don't blow it up quite yet. And you might have some trade chips. Who did I just bring up?
00:44:26
Speaker 2: I'm back next week and we'll see if we want to.
00:44:30
Speaker 1: Yeah, we might want to blow it up next week, but I think you're in a good spot for this week. What's up, Devo?
00:44:34
Speaker 16: Kind of a tough question for lightning round, but I'll try to keep it quick. I'm one and two, mainly because of Drake May. So I made a trade that kind of got me in a good spot. So I got rid of A.J. Brown, Bucky, and Carnell Tate. I got Mahomes, Puka, and Tootin. Feels like a major steal, but he had Brock Purdy, so I don't think he really cared about Mahomes too much.
00:44:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, normally you win that trade, but you did a good job. That's not what we got excited about, but great job.
00:44:57
Speaker 3: Sick.
00:44:58
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:44:59
Speaker 16: Well, yeah. So the issue is, and I'll post my team in the chat, my tight end one is likely who I'm obviously not very excited to run the rest of the season. And there's not really much options out there. Wide receiver death is also not the best. So I'm curious if I'm either getting greedy, but should I maybe try to shop Kuka to get a better tight end and a wide receiver too? Or do you just kind of lock in, not be greedy, stick with it? by receivers.
00:45:23
Speaker 1: Nope, don't be greedy. I don't think so. I don't think you're getting Bowers or any. I mean, I guess if you're trading to Puka, you could get into that range, but you got Chase and Puka right now and Josh Downs. So I don't think I personally am putting Puka out there. The only thing I'm listening to is me getting McBride or Bowers and I would still want more. So that's why I don't think I'm doing it.
00:45:43
Speaker 2: I think I'd send trade at least to see what like you want to go Puka straight up for I mean, what's the difference between Puka and Bowers at this point, except one plays tight end, and then they're both injury risks. Puka's coming off of his injury.
00:45:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not worried about Bowers biting anybody, too, which is decent. I don't know, though. Okay, so here's my problem with that trade, though, Andrew Erickson. Then your wide receiver, too, is Josh Downs on his team. The depth of his wide receiver, not as a number two the rest of the season. Then he's got B.J. and Mitchell. Rest of season? I want him as a flex.
00:46:20
Speaker 2: Josh Downs is the number one wide receiver on his team. Rest of season.
00:46:25
Speaker 3: No.
00:46:26
Speaker 1: No, I don't like it. We're indifferent.
00:46:29
Speaker 2: Where's Josh Downs in the rest of season rankings?
00:46:31
Speaker 1: He's just not the wide receiver two I want. When you start two wide receivers, I don't want to start Josh Downs. I want to find awesome matchups like this week to put him in. He has Jamar Chase and Puka Nakua right now.
00:46:42
Speaker 2: Okay, but then he's going to have Brock Bauer as a tight end instead of Isaiah Likely, who has a chance to just be a nothing burger with this rotating carousel of tight ends. So he's basically just taking L's every single week, right? You got to sacrifice something. So would you rather punt tight end or make Josh Johns a wide receiver.
00:47:01
Speaker 1: To punt tight ends? I, you know what I would want to do too. I would see if I could go and push like a Aaron Waller available.
00:47:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe.
00:47:09
Speaker 1: Or Sadiq is going out there. But also, maybe I could try to acquire Tucker Craft. We were just talking about, I think the best is to come. Maybe you can go get him on the cheap for something a lot less.
00:47:18
Speaker 2: Josh Downs for Tucker Craft?
00:47:21
Speaker 1: I almost think, could you go less? He has Blake Corum. Could you trade Corum for Corum? Maybe not.
00:47:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that. Kamara? Maybe he has a.
00:47:32
Speaker 1: Good Bill Crosby. Bill gets like a touchdown and stuff. And someone done some running back depth.
00:47:36
Speaker 11: Like that's what I'm saying. Do likely and what's his face for craft? Like Corman likely for craft. I mean, do you just go for the ultimate by 11 Colson Loveland?
00:47:46
Speaker 1: I'm totally down with that. I love that.
00:47:50
Speaker 2: I'm so down with that. Dude, Loveland, people forget. Coming off his best game of the year. Dude, three catches for 41 yards. Likely and Corman. Almost scored a touchdown.
00:47:58
Speaker 1: Likely and Corman for Loveland right now. Go do that.
00:48:02
Speaker 2: Who says no?
00:48:03
Speaker 1: Who says no except the guy who owns them. All right. 10-minute warning. Lightning round as best as you can or we won't get to all of these, which is definitely a possibility.
00:48:11
Speaker 2: How many do we have?
00:48:12
Speaker 1: We have like 12 more questions and we have 10 minutes.
00:48:15
Speaker 2: All right. Let's rapid fire. We got to lightning.
00:48:16
Speaker 1: Round it as best as possible.
00:48:18
Speaker 2: You got to keep it one question, one question. Yes, one question only. One question.
00:48:22
Speaker 1: Buzzard, unmute yourself. Unmute, please, so we can get you. It's a beautiful picture of a cat too, by the way.
00:48:28
Speaker 2: Unmute.
00:48:30
Speaker 1: Going once, going twice. Buzzard, figure it out and then let us know and we'll try to get you back up.
00:48:35
Speaker 2: Ronan. What up?
00:48:39
Speaker 1: What up, dude?
00:48:42
Speaker 6: Half PPR.
00:48:42
Speaker 15: Would you go with Sadiq or JCM in your finals flex spot?
00:48:46
Speaker 1: Tight end or running back?
00:48:48
Speaker 2: Half PPR. I'll go with JCM.
00:48:51
Speaker 1: I'll go JCM too. I wanted to say Sadiq though. But I didn't.
00:48:56
Speaker 17: On him?
00:48:58
Speaker 1: You must unmute. What up? Hey, guys, what's up?
00:49:00
Speaker 9: What up, dude?
00:49:01
Speaker 18: Hey, I'm in a tight end bind. I got Kyle Pitts, thought he'd be a monster, and he's a dud. And I added Darren Waller. I don't have any other tight ends. Not much available to pick up.
00:49:12
Speaker 6: Do I try to trade for like Kraft?
00:49:14
Speaker 1: What do you guys suggest? Yeah, we both just advocated for trying to trade for Kraft if you can. I think Kraft and Loveland are the two guys I think are really interesting tight end buy lows I would go for. I mean, Waller is a good play this week at least.
00:49:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I would ride Waller and just kind of wait and see a little bit with Pitts, right? One game with Penix obviously didn't do anything. Is he going to have three targets every single week? I don't think so.
00:49:40
Speaker 1: Play Wally this week for the touchdown upside like Erickson wants and then see what happens with Pitts.
00:49:45
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:49:45
Speaker 2: Give Pitts another week. Just kind of see if it's the same thing, then okay, let's try to get a long-term answer. But in the short term, just roll with Wally.
00:49:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm down with that. Sir Buckets, Your Majesty, come down.
00:49:57
Speaker 2: Hey, what's up, guys?
00:49:59
Speaker 1: What up?
00:50:01
Speaker 2: So through the chat, I'll tell you my team real quick.
00:50:04
Speaker 17: I got Josh Allen, Hampton, Hall, Amon Ra, Pickens, Kelsey, And I'm wondering if I should trade for RB or just ride out Hampton or Brees.
00:50:18
Speaker 1: What do you think? I don't want to ride out Hampton.
00:50:20
Speaker 2: I would trade. I would just trade Hampton for Baysheltoon. Yep.
00:50:25
Speaker 1: I'm 100% cosign on that.
00:50:27
Speaker 2: I love that.
00:50:28
Speaker 1: That's the trade.
00:50:29
Speaker 2: I mean, I would even trade. I mean, if you need wins now, I mean, Brees Hall for Baysheltoon feels gross. But Brees Hall is also injured. He's not going to help you. That's not a bad move either.
00:50:39
Speaker 1: All right, let's try Buzzard one more time. Buzzard, unmute.
00:50:43
Speaker 2: You're still muted. Oh, there you go.
00:50:44
Speaker 17: Hey, thank you guys for the second opportunity. So would you guys trade Bucky for Tootin?
00:50:50
Speaker 2: Yes.
00:50:51
Speaker 1: And Kittle or Jawan rest of the season, who would you trade?
00:50:55
Speaker 2: Full PPR.
00:50:56
Speaker 1: Well, I want Kittle, so I would trade Jawan because Tyson comes back and ruins it. So Jawan, but he doesn't get what Kittle gets. And then I'm fine. I think Tootin and Bucky are pretty like the same.
00:51:08
Speaker 2: I think Bucky is way shakier rest of the season.
00:51:12
Speaker 1: Is what? Is way what?
00:51:15
Speaker 2: Shakier. Oh, shakier. Do you think having a Buccaneers offensive player is going to be good rest of the season?
00:51:23
Speaker 1: I think it's a fair question to ask in week three when they've been this bad. But, like, unless you are sold on they are going to continuously be this bad the entire year, I kind of think they won't be.
00:51:33
Speaker 2: But it's fair. Attaching yourself to the Jaguars have only been good.
00:51:37
Speaker 1: I think it's a fine trade. Like, I'm not against your trade at all. Like, I think Tootin's a freaking beast. So I'm totally cool with doing that trade. What's up, Molman? Hey, what up? Well, thank you.
00:51:49
Speaker 9: Thanks for having me. First time coming. I'll make this quick. I noticed that Charbonnet is coming off of injury soon. I was looking to trade to get him to add some running back depth. I'm looking to trade either maybe Michael Wilson or Denzel Boston.
00:52:07
Speaker 1: What do you think? Do you hate me for not wanting to trade either one of those guys?
00:52:13
Speaker 2: I mean, if he needs running back depth, like clearly he doesn't. It seems like he's not playing either of his receivers.
00:52:19
Speaker 1: Are you worried at all that there's four? I mean, you were like, I'm Andy Wilson. Like, are you worried they're going to have all these guys and Charbonnet is not going to be able to do what he even did last year? And also his health and how long it takes. Like, I think both of those guys are pretty productive right now. If I had to choose, I actually think I'm keeping Wilson over Boston. I think Boston's super fun and is a brand new shiny toy and stuff. But like Marvin Harrison doesn't exist. Michael Wilson's just going to keep rolling out. Why are they not going to throw it to him 10 times a game?
00:52:49
Speaker 2: I guess I'm just not too keen on trading away a rookie wide receiver that is shown out in his first three games. I gotcha. That's the only reason I would be hesitant to do that. But I kind of agree with you. Like, I'd rather just keep those guys. I'm keeping those guys over sharp. I mean, unless you're running back situation is so dire and these are like your fifth and sixth guy. I mean, I would rather just trade for Jordan Mason. Can you do that?
00:53:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think those guys should be able to get you like a quorum or something, you know, or even maybe a Bill Kroski. Like, I don't think the value is equated.
00:53:21
Speaker 2: That's a good point. I think I would aim higher than Charbonnet.
00:53:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, I would 100% aim higher. Otherwise, I'm not doing it. RAJP77, that's his screen name, premium member of the Fantasy Pros Discord. You must unmute. Going once. Sorry, I thought I muted.
00:53:39
Speaker 3: All right, long-time listener, first-time caller. I'm going to quickly send my team. Well, team, keeper, you start two QBs, two RBs, three wide receivers, one wide art, tight end flex. My concern is do I need to maybe.
00:53:55
Speaker 2: Make a change? I'm 3-0, by the way.
00:53:57
Speaker 3: Do I need to make a change or just kind of sit back and, I don't know, just wait a week or so to see if there's any moves to make?
00:54:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think his quarterbacks really stink, but they've been performing well in Kirk Cousins, but it's because Jaden Daniels is down. I think I'm holding tight because if Daniels comes back, but I will say, I think, you know, it's a strong team, but it was a keeper though. So it's like, I don't want to trade. He's got guys like neighbors and McMillan and stuff. Maybe there's something to be said that you consolidate off of neighbors and a keeper league, which is going to have a ton of value. And he could put Luther burden or he's got Braylon. I mean, I'm going to play Braylon Allen over neighbors this week alone. Maybe neighbors is the guy you try to see if you can make a big quarterback swing trade for.
00:54:40
Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
00:54:42
Speaker 2: I like that idea, especially cause it's a keeper league. So even though his production has been lackluster and the, the projection this year is still kind of up in the air. you'll still get a really strong return for him. Cause I think that I look at this team, right? Like you're a kind of like one elite quarterback away and getting Jane Daniels back from like making a legit run here. So I would use neighbors package him with, could you get party back?
00:55:06
Speaker 1: Could you get my boy?
00:55:06
Speaker 2: I would package him with Kirk. I would, I would package him with Kirk cousins. Who's playing really, really well right now for, for Nana Mendoza is the farthest away from ever playing a snap for the Las Vegas Raiders. Cause everything's going great for the Raiders. Put those two guys together and see what, Upgrade a core. I mean, did you go get Drake May and just say like, this is, this is a time to buy Drake May dude. When I was updating my dynasty rankings, it took, it took everything in my power to refuse from dropping Drake May significantly because of how bad he's looked, but it's like dynasty it's keeper. Like, so Drake May, he would be a screaming by.
00:55:38
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:55:40
Speaker 2: Love it. Love it.
00:55:40
Speaker 1: Love it. Catalyst.
00:55:41
Speaker 2: What up? Hey guys.
00:55:44
Speaker 6: Uh, so I posted my team on chats. I'm doing dynasty rebuild right now. And I just want to know if there's anything else that I should be selling. or just hold everything.
00:55:53
Speaker 1: Where is, okay. So 12 things, super flex, tight end, premium, Brissette, gente, a lava.
00:56:00
Speaker 17: A hold.
00:56:01
Speaker 1: I think this is, I think these are all holds. Erickson, do you feel anything to do? It's not the full team that I'm seeing here. I'm seeing Herbert Brissette of the two. I mean, solid running back, solid wide receivers. I mean, you need more wide receivers. You're building, you're playing into next year. The question would be what to sell off. I, I don't think I'm selling anything here.
00:56:25
Speaker 2: Catalyst. I'm just looking at his roster. Sell-off.
00:56:30
Speaker 1: It's a rebuild-hold type of team. He's a tight end for him, and he has Loveland.
00:56:34
Speaker 2: I mean, Brissette, I guess. He's an older quarterback. I mean, he has value right now because he puts up points in Superflex League. So if you trade him to a team that needs production from a quarterback... Percet would be the guy to deal because his long-term value is probably not super high.
00:56:52
Speaker 1: All right, let's get two more. Juanito. What up, Juanito?
00:56:56
Speaker 2: Hey, guys.
00:56:57
Speaker 13: Thank you for taking my question. Half PPR, 12-team league. Kyler is currently my quarterback because Caleb Williams is hurt. Would you guys try and... trade caleb and giovante williams for burrow and love the manager who has burrow um also has golf so i'm trying to hit him up because uh his buy situation.
00:57:18
Speaker 1: I'm sorry i'm done did you say this is two quarterback league no so you want to trade burrow and love you.
00:57:25
Speaker 13: Want no no i want to trade caleb caleb williams and giovante.
00:57:30
Speaker 1: For burrow and love jeremiah love.
00:57:33
Speaker 13: For Jeremiah Love.
00:57:34
Speaker 2: Gotcha.
00:57:35
Speaker 1: Okay, because it's the quarterback love, which I was getting confused with. I think Jeremiah Love is kind of a cool buy. Yeah, I'm down. I really don't care about the quarterback consolidating.
00:57:44
Speaker 2: Well, you get a quarterback that's not injured.
00:57:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, and you get Jeremiah Love, which I think is on the ascend. So yeah, I'm down with that.
00:57:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's a good trade. Okay, yeah, that's a good trade.
00:57:54
Speaker 1: All right, Sully, last one up. And then we always have overtime here on the extra point, which we'll try to get to. But what's up, Sully?
00:58:01
Speaker 10: Hey guys, uh, just quick question.
00:58:03
Speaker 12: I get 14 team, uh, PPR league dropping Godwin for Chris Bell.
00:58:07
Speaker 6: A good idea at this point in the season.
00:58:08
Speaker 10: Thanks. Ooh, God.
00:58:11
Speaker 1: Um, I don't want to do that. You want to do that? You hate the box.
00:58:17
Speaker 2: I do. I really do hate the box. I guess for me, it's like, I don't want to miss the boat potentially on Chris Bell holding onto Godwin. When, when what's, what's the point? Like, That's fair.
00:58:30
Speaker 1: I just want to point out your tweet, though, about where it was like, you're like, look at, what was it? Busting your fab for a running back on one of the worst offenses. What's the upside? I love Chris Bell and all, but do you think the Dolphins receiving upside with what Malik does in passing is better than the running back? You know what I'm getting at here versus Godwin? I get what you're saying, but do you really think we're going to miss the boat on a Dolphins wide receiver for this year?
00:58:58
Speaker 2: No, that's a very valid... Nick is also bringing up in the chat that Godwin did have that sick touchdown last week that was called back to a penalty. That is that is very fair so yeah I think I guess maybe give it a week then I I guess for me it's like what's Chris Bell gonna do against the Vikings that you're like oh man I gotta have this guy on my roster but but again We need to revisit this question next week. At the top of the show, Chris Bell or Chris Collin.
00:59:28
