Revisiting TROY (2004) 22 Years Later! - Movie Review | Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Wolfgang Petersen

Troy has always been a movie that I have enjoyed since my childhood days. While its certainly no masterclass in cinema nor one of the greatest movies of all time, rewatching and revisiting Troy for the historical epics series and for the 22 year anniversary, I have still so mich entertainment value here.

In this revisited review, EpicJoshua’s Joshua Drake gives you a full breakdown of TROY, talking about his love of the film through the good and bad, some production history and talking about both versions of the film and which one he prefers.

Sypnosis

When Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) falls in love with Helen (Diane Kruger) and takes her from her husband, Spartan King Menelaus (Brendan Gleeson), it sparks an international crisis. Menelaus's ambitious brother, King Agamemnon (Brian Cox), uses the slight as a pretext to declare war and conquer the legendary city of Troy to control the Aegean Sea. The united Greek forces—bolstered by the peerless warrior Achilles (Brad Pitt)—sail with a massive armada to launch a decade-long siege.
