Olympic Dreams to Pro Career with Brandon McCarthy

With all the recent controversy and media coverage surrounding the Irish squad selection for the final Olympic qualifiers - it was going to take something special to drown out that noise. That something special came in record form - Kellie Harringon, Michaela Walsh, Aoife O’Rourke & Aidan Walsh are double Olympians, Dean Clancy, Jude Gallagaher, Jack Marley, Jennifer Lehane, Grainne Walsh & Daina Moorehouse qualifying. A record 10 qualifiers.

It wasn’t that long ago Brandon McCarthy was on course to be part of that Olympic dream - but tonight he looks to go 2-0 as a pro in Florida.
