If you feel like you are wrestling with comparison, the pain of brokenness in your life, or needing inspiration for how to cultivate a kingdom minded home, you'll find encouragement in this episode. Kennesha Buycks lays out all the pain points that have pointed her back to restoration in Jesus. This also birthed the social space and newly released book, Restoration House. Kennesha desires to pull your heart and your home toward God's peace and toward a welcoming of the Holy Spirit. We get vulnerable pretty fast in this episode and cover topics like numbing pain with alcohol, the need of a father, the Enneagram, and God given desires that don't look like they will ever come to fruition. Kennesha's book, Restoration House will get much praise from me this episode but don't mistake this for an endorsement for frivolity or a focus on making our earthly spaces our idols. I'm a champion of the book Restoration House. Not a fan. The difference is, the zeal I have for this book comes from it's goal: it's drawn me closer to Jesus. If this is your first time listening, I absolutely believe you'll enjoy my time with Kennesha today. And I encourage you to subscribe to the podcast. If you've been with me from the beginning, I just want to say thanks for sticking it out with me for 77 episodes!
