Ryan Parrott joins Jimmy on the podcast to talk about his new series with Mad Cave Studios: It Killed Everyone But Me. Issues 1 and 2 are already out. Ryan discusses his horror influences, writing a chatty villain, and how the series came together once artist Letizia Cadonici came on board. Ryan also chats about his start in comics, working with Kyle Higgins, Rogue Sun, and the dream come true of including Medieval Spawn in that series. This is a fantastic and fun conversation.
From the Publisher:
Years ago, a brutal slasher massacre in the woods left a group of teens
dead. The lone survivor, Jessica, seemingly moved on from the horrific
event and is now a successful therapist. But when a new series of murders occurs, Jessica returns to her hometown to confront the dark secrets of her past only to discover the truth is far worse than she ever thought. The real
killer has returned, and he’s just getting started. A pulse-pounding horror thriller, “It Killed Everyone But Me” takes everything you
love about slashers and adds a fresh, terrifying twist.
