“It was the 70’s!” The story of how Candy Montgomery killed Betty Gore as told by Jessica Biel… In hulu’s five part telling of the completely true and horrific axe murder of Betty Gore, we watch as a bored housewife starts an affair with a friend’s husband and then eventually (in self defense according to her) kills that friend. We discuss the case and the hulu series about that case. Starring Melanie Lynskey as Betty Gore, Pablo Schreiber as Allan Gore, Timothy Simons as Pat Montgomery, and Jessica Biel as Candy Montgomery… with appearances by the real life husbands of our leading ladies Justin Timberlake and Jason Ritter. Candy got away with it! Do you think it was self defense or something more sinister?
