이 에피소드에 관해
Dr. Leedia is a skilled biological dentist who takes a comprehensive approach to dental care. She aims to address dental problems while also identifying and addressing their underlying causes to prevent future issues. Dr. Leedia focuses on women's dental health, recognizing the unique needs of the female body and considering hormonal fluctuations during different life stages, such as puberty to menopause, by achieving optimal dental health throughout.
The connection between the mouth and the body is significant, and there is a very close relationship between these different parts. For instance, dentists often encounter women who experience tooth movement after giving birth multiple times due to the hormone relaxin, which affects ligaments, including those around the teeth. The similarities between oral and vaginal tissues in terms of histology, receptors, and healing processes are truly remarkable.
