Hiya Benchmates! Welcome to episode 5 of Beyond The Box Art, your fortnightly fix for scale modelling updates & the official podcast for the International Plastic Modellers Society (UK)! This episode is packed with 2 inciteful interviews... Firstly, we chat with Kevin Futter from KLP Publishing in Australia as part of our Precision By Passion feature for sole trader or small businesses. The conversation went into the future of the specialist print market for refference books for the hobby. Email us at info@beyondtheboxart.com if you want to come on and talk about your small business - it's free to do so and all it will cost you is a few minutes! Put Precision by Passion in the email title! Our main interview is with non-other than Luke Flynn, the person behind the lens for the Mach Models Youtube & Instagram channel... You may have seen his recent build of the UMa AV-8B Harrier II Plus. We also have the normal features for th epod along with another Wongies Wisdom, this time on snow effects for dioramas. Also, we are joined by Mark Sanderson, Publicity Officer with the 1st IPMS Dispatches - have a show or event to promote, notable branch news etc, this feature will fill in the gap between the bi-monthly magazine for members - email Mark at publicity@ipmsuk.org with anything you want to get a mention on. We hope you enjoy the content as mush as we enjoyed making it - and you will want to listen to the VERY end... even beyond our goodbyes for a little extra (my turn to get tounge-tied) Please feel free to drop us an email if you have something you want us to chat about etc, more than happy to read it out. Till the next time Brownie
