Imagine waking up from a coma and not recognizing your husband of 20 years.
At 62 years old, former registered nurse Jennifer White underwent surgery for a brain tumor. When she woke from a coma, she couldn't walk, couldn't speak, didn't recognize her husband, and had lost huge portions of her memories, including much of her children's childhoods.
Suddenly, Jennifer had to learn how to live again.
If I could do or be anything, what would I love?
Jennifer's circumstances forced her to start over, but perhaps the rest of us don't need to wait for life to force us.
