Abraham looked forward. We look back. But it has always been the same God, the same faith, and the same Savior.
Were people in the Old Testament saved differently than believers today?
In Galatians 3:6–9, Pastor Keith Seiber demonstrates that salvation has always been by God's grace through faith—not by keeping the Law, religious ceremonies, or good works.
Using Abraham's remarkable testimony, this KJV Bible message explores four powerful truths:
-
Credited: Abraham believed God, and righteousness was counted to him.
-
Children: All who believe share Abraham's blessing through faith, while God's promises to Israel remain intact.
-
Christ Preached Beforehand: The Gospel was promised long before Bethlehem, pointing forward to Jesus Christ.
-
Company: Believers today are blessed alongside faithful Abraham.
“And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.” — Genesis 15:6
Discover why the Old and New Testaments proclaim one way of salvation, how Abraham's covenant points to Calvary, and why the Church has not replaced Israel in God's prophetic plan.
The promises are distinct. The way of salvation is one.
Abraham looked forward to God's promised Redeemer. We look back to Christ's finished work.
Same God. Same faith. Same Savior.
