S2E4 - As much as we may want to imagine that the arts are free from the affects of something as mundane as money, it is sadly not the case. This truth can be seen notably in the classical music realm. Are academic institutions making an effort to make the study of music more accessible? Are concert halls keeping different socioeconomic classes in mind when they set ticket prices? After attempting to tackle these questions, Michael chats with composer Susanna Hancock about life, her career of many faces, and the success of her food-infused concert series, Terroir New Music.
