Janet Caperna is back in the Haute Seat with us, and this time we go even deeper into love, marriage, motherhood, money, reality TV and the friendships that made—and complicated—The Valley.
Janet tells us how a four-Corona Tulum moment changed everything when she looked at longtime friend Jason and suddenly realized the guy she had been searching for was already in front of her. From their first real kiss to her immediate “I’m marrying this man” declaration, she opens up about why Jason became her person, how they divide money and responsibilities, and why separate bank accounts and separate bathrooms might be her secret to a happy marriage.
We rewind to the years Janet spent quietly watching the Vanderpump world from the background while working as an executive assistant for major names, including Cameron Diaz and Catherine Power at Avaline. Then came the move to the Valley, a closer friendship with Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor, the original “baby bottle service” concept, Scandoval reigniting interest in the group, an unexpected pregnancy—and suddenly Janet was filming season one of The Valley.
Nothing is off limits as Janet talks Kristen Doute, Nia, Jax, Brittany, Ariana Madix, Jesse, Lacy, Michelle and the moment she thought photos of Michelle and Dr. Dre were AI. She reveals why she believes Raquel could have redeemed herself by returning to Vanderpump Rules, why she refuses to campaign for cast members to be fired, and why she thinks reality TV only works when you stop hiding from the cameras and show the real, raw mess. She even takes us inside the Big Bear breakdown where, seven months pregnant and cooking for everyone, she threw tortilla chips at Jason, burst into tears and made the split-second decision to let the cameras follow.
We also get into Ariana’s Love Island success and fashion, Janet’s plans to try for baby number two, her wild 7/7/27 family-date dream, her future
cookbook and homeware ambitions, and the life she actually wants when the cameras are gone. And then things take a very unexpected turn when Jesse’s claimed history with Anna Nicole Smith comes up—something that shocks us, because we were there and knew Anna’s life intimately. It’s love, lawsuits, baby plans, reality-TV boundaries, Scandoval clues, Dr. Dre shockers and one very Undressed conversation. Subscribe to our audio:
