このエピソードについて
Every pastor should have a sense of their local context. Missiologists have spoken of a "missionary-posture" where pastors ought to learn about their culture in order to best share the gospel with it. This often includes clothing, values, and desires. In this episode, we consider the technology history in Kitchener-Waterloo, and how that shapes the character of its residents today.
In 2026, our Thinking About It podcast will focus on the most important aspects of living like a Christian. We are doing this in three phases:
- Spiritual Disciplines (January through May)
- Technology (June through September)
- Relationships (September through December)
Each episode is produced at Grandview Church in Kitchener, Ontario. To learn more about Grandview Church, and the hosts behind this podcast, (Pastors: Jon Cleland, Jeremy McQuoid, and Tim Mudde; and Andrew Noble) please visit https://www.grandviewchurch.ca/.
