#4 - Computing Science, The Gender Gap & 30 Years of Experience

Join Richard, Elaine, Chris and Rosie Quinn as she shares her story of impact at St. Andrews Secondary.

Rosie is the Principal Teacher of Computing Science at St. Andrews Secondary and has 30 years of experience  successfully implementing technology at St. Andrews Secondary, Castlemilk High and elsewhere too.

Listen to how Rosie uses a wee bit of technology to connect pupils to learning, coding, computational thinking and more. She shares her opinion on the importance of learning coding skills now and in the future, her concerns around staff shortages in her subject area and the need to do more work to close the gender gap for girls and young women at school around CS.
