My athletic abilities were not pretty but I was happy to join the 7th Annual NRG Media Charity Flag Football Game that also marked the Five-Year Anniversary of NRG’s Choose to Give program. Each team represented four Philly area founding Choose to Give partner nonprofits: Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Nemours, Philabundance, and Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence. I speak to Keri Murschell, NRG Home East Director of Innovation and Jonathan Chen, MD, Chief of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Co-Director of the Cardiac Center about how folks can consume power and benefit CHOP and other nonprofits at the same time.

I had the most delightful interview with Arnetta Johnson, a virtuoso trumpet player who's performed with Beyonce and the Roots and is offering a free band camp. She has created Arnetta’s Band Camp (ABC) - a weeklong music immersion and professional development opportunity that introduces Camden youth to various career paths in music, finance and business skills, performance technique, mentorship from professional musicians, and much more! (July 18-22)
