The Road Struggles Continue For the Avalanche In An Ugly Loss to the Nashville Predators

Colorado Avalanche stumble to a 6-2 defeat against the Nashville Predators, raising urgent questions about their road game woes and special teams collapse. Despite Devon Toews finding the net, the Avalanche looked lethargic and uninspired, outshot and outplayed by a Nashville team coming off a back-to-back. Can Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar spark a turnaround before these struggles become a season-long trend?

Chris Micieli and Zach Pearson break down a night filled with costly penalties, ineffective power plays, and defensive miscues that left Scott Wedgewood exposed. The conversation explores concerns around the team’s shot selection, neutral zone turnovers, and lack of support from depth forwards. Listeners get key stats, heat map analysis, and spirited fan reactions as the hosts debate whether this ugly loss could serve as a necessary wake-up call for Jared Bednar’s squad. Will the Avalanche find consistency before November?
