COMMANDERS HAVE A HEAD START: Blough, Jones Know the Eagles

Washington Commanders vs. Philadelphia Eagles Week 1 features NFL play-calling debuts for David Blough and Daronte Jones, but both coordinators enter Sunday with a significant head start. Blough already knows Jayden Daniels and has previous Eagles tape to study, while Jones knows Sean Mannion, has faced Jalen Hurts and can lean on Dan Quinn’s five years of Philadelphia preparation.

Then, why game-day roster math could make Dyami Brown a surprising inactive while Luke McCaffrey, Kain Medrano and Tanoa Togiai dress, and why the Commanders’ offensive makeover will be noticeable without being nearly as drastic as some fans expect.

Host David Harrison covers the the Commanders Commanders for the Locked On network and for WUSA9 as a digital beat reporter.
