DEVASTATING: SMU Mustangs STUNNED by Syracuse in CRUSHING Repeat Loss! Is Rhett Lashlee to BLAME?

SMU Mustangs stumble against Syracuse Orange in a loss that threatens their ACC Championship hopes. Grayson Singleton addresses costly penalties, breakdowns on special teams, and questionable late-game decisions. Can Kevin Jennings address his glaring tendency to take drive-killing sacks and lead this talented squad back on track?

The conversation focused on Kevin Jennings’ stat line contrasted with his negative rushing yardage due to critical sacks. The discussion explored Rhett Lashlee’s odd clock management, the offensive line’s surprising struggles in the run game, and why star running back Kendrick Raphael was absent when it mattered most. Several points were raised, including SMU’s recurring issues with ill-timed penalties and lapses in discipline. As the Mustangs attempt to regroup, their ability to fix these persistent problems will define their path in the ACC.
