What does the Bible say about the earth, and how far should we go to share the good news about Jesus? Join Christopher Columbus, King Ferdinand, and Queen Isabella in this humorous, imaginative historical drama from Fish Bytes for Kids!
Christopher Columbus has an extraordinary request for the king and queen: ships to sail across the ocean and reach people who have never heard the gospel! But King Ferdinand has a big problem with Columbus's plan. He believes the earth is flat and that anyone who sails too far will fall right off the edge!
Columbus has an answer from an unexpected source—God's Word! He points to Isaiah 40:22, which describes God as sitting above the circle of the earth. Using a simple coin and a ball, Columbus explains why he believes the earth is round and why lands and people may exist far across the ocean. Queen Isabella begins to see his point, and soon the royal couple must decide whether to support his daring expedition.
Will Columbus convince the king to provide the ships he needs? And will his dream of reaching people with the gospel become a reality? Get ready for a lively story filled with royal disagreements, funny moments, and an important reminder about sharing God's love with the world!
Bible Verse: Isaiah 40:22 — “God sits above the circle of the earth.”
