In this week's episode of the Block Exploring Podcast, Tommy (@sabaisquared) and Elias (@otokocrypto) discuss the state of the market.
This week Coinmarketcap users became billionaires! For a second, and not really… A glitch showed extremely high prices for all the cryptocurrencies, which was fun to see for a second there.
Elon Musk also spoke about how DOGE was better than Bitcoin as a currency, interesting times, interesting takes…
In this episode, we discuss the bearish state of the market, but the contrast we also see with the state of institutional buy-ins. NFTs might pump the crypto space again? RTFKT, a fashion-based NFT project was bought by Nike. This continues the trend of large brands getting into the crypto space and metaverse.
We also see Cyberkongz gain venture capital backing. At the same time, we see CryptoKitties fund itself via tokenization and a form of ICO? Think with us about the future of the space, and how NFTs will add value to it. How do you think funding for these projects should go? Do web 2 companies have a place in the crypto space?
Let us know your ideas on this in the comment section!
