00:00:18.295 --> 00:00:21.754
- Welcome to Blaze and Guts. I'm Teresa Blaze,
2
00:00:21.894 --> 00:00:24.695
- and today, I'm riding solo. Michelle will be
3
00:00:24.695 --> 00:00:25.994
- back with us next week.
4
00:00:26.614 --> 00:00:28.634
- We are wrapping up the
5
00:00:29.170 --> 00:00:30.130
- 2026
6
00:00:30.130 --> 00:00:30.630
- preseason.
7
00:00:31.970 --> 00:00:34.789
- So without further ado, let's get started.
8
00:00:35.649 --> 00:00:37.909
- We are gonna start with Arizona who
9
00:00:38.289 --> 00:00:39.750
- had plenty of fireworks,
10
00:00:40.850 --> 00:00:42.549
- all kettle and no hat,
11
00:00:43.465 --> 00:00:43.965
- basically.
12
00:00:45.225 --> 00:00:46.125
- They had
13
00:00:46.585 --> 00:00:48.445
- 492
14
00:00:49.385 --> 00:00:50.365
- offensive yards.
15
00:00:52.585 --> 00:00:53.085
- However,
16
00:00:53.945 --> 00:00:55.085
- with five minutes
17
00:00:55.545 --> 00:00:56.765
- left in the game,
18
00:00:57.710 --> 00:00:59.950
- they let Green Bay back in, and they
19
00:00:59.950 --> 00:01:01.329
- let them basically
20
00:01:02.670 --> 00:01:04.849
- get 15 unanswered points.
21
00:01:06.109 --> 00:01:08.769
- So then they lost 38
22
00:01:09.069 --> 00:01:10.094
- to 42.
23
00:01:11.295 --> 00:01:13.075
- Very good offensive showing.
24
00:01:14.015 --> 00:01:15.395
- I'm not questioning that.
25
00:01:16.255 --> 00:01:18.495
- I am questioning, can they close out games?
26
00:01:18.495 --> 00:01:19.314
- Can they win?
27
00:01:21.534 --> 00:01:22.355
- I don't know.
28
00:01:22.974 --> 00:01:24.194
- We're gonna find out.
29
00:01:25.420 --> 00:01:28.079
- Moving on to Green Bay, who basically had
30
00:01:28.539 --> 00:01:30.959
- the best showing of all the games,
31
00:01:31.979 --> 00:01:33.039
- of all the teams,
32
00:01:35.019 --> 00:01:36.159
- killed Minnesota
33
00:01:36.619 --> 00:01:37.840
- 34 to six,
34
00:01:39.015 --> 00:01:41.495
- holding Minnesota to 269
35
00:01:41.495 --> 00:01:44.215
- yards while putting 412
36
00:01:44.215 --> 00:01:46.795
- offensive yards on the on the field themselves.
37
00:01:48.215 --> 00:01:50.075
- And they kept Minnesota completely
38
00:01:50.614 --> 00:01:51.915
- out of the end zone.
39
00:01:52.439 --> 00:01:54.459
- That's pretty good. That's
40
00:01:56.280 --> 00:01:58.359
- you know what? If they can continue putting
41
00:01:58.359 --> 00:01:59.959
- up that kind of numbers, they're gonna say
42
00:01:59.959 --> 00:02:01.099
- something in the season.
43
00:02:02.119 --> 00:02:03.900
- I'm really excited about that.
44
00:02:05.274 --> 00:02:06.094
- Keep going.
45
00:02:06.954 --> 00:02:09.034
- Keep going. Clean up what you can clean
46
00:02:09.034 --> 00:02:09.534
- up,
47
00:02:10.235 --> 00:02:11.455
- but do your job.
48
00:02:13.914 --> 00:02:15.455
- Let's go to Kansas City.
49
00:02:16.650 --> 00:02:17.550
- They scored
50
00:02:18.010 --> 00:02:18.909
- nine points
51
00:02:20.090 --> 00:02:21.230
- tying Seattle.
52
00:02:21.770 --> 00:02:24.010
- They did not get any touchdowns, but neither
53
00:02:24.010 --> 00:02:24.750
- did Seattle.
54
00:02:25.050 --> 00:02:26.030
- Harrison Buckner
55
00:02:26.330 --> 00:02:26.830
- scored
56
00:02:27.129 --> 00:02:28.590
- all nine points.
57
00:02:29.814 --> 00:02:31.574
- Seattle actually had a chance to win the
58
00:02:31.574 --> 00:02:32.074
- game,
59
00:02:33.014 --> 00:02:33.514
- but
60
00:02:34.215 --> 00:02:35.194
- Jason Myers
61
00:02:35.655 --> 00:02:36.955
- missed a field goal.
62
00:02:39.974 --> 00:02:40.955
- Here's my concern.
63
00:02:41.895 --> 00:02:44.314
- They Kansas City can move the ball,
64
00:02:44.849 --> 00:02:47.669
- but they cannot finish in the red zone
65
00:02:47.810 --> 00:02:48.549
- so far.
66
00:02:51.090 --> 00:02:52.709
- That would be a glaring problem.
67
00:02:53.889 --> 00:02:55.650
- We need to actually see production on the
68
00:02:55.650 --> 00:02:57.489
- board. We need to see them actually move
69
00:02:57.489 --> 00:02:58.949
- the ball and finish.
70
00:03:01.544 --> 00:03:02.104
- You know,
71
00:03:02.504 --> 00:03:04.585
- Mitch Holt is the the the play by
72
00:03:04.585 --> 00:03:06.344
- play guy for the radio. He calls it
73
00:03:06.344 --> 00:03:07.965
- the sweet nectar of the end zone.
74
00:03:08.344 --> 00:03:10.264
- They actually need to see it a little
75
00:03:10.264 --> 00:03:11.004
- bit more.
76
00:03:13.145 --> 00:03:15.805
- So if I was to kinda summarize
77
00:03:16.599 --> 00:03:17.500
- these three teams,
78
00:03:19.719 --> 00:03:20.219
- Arizona,
79
00:03:21.239 --> 00:03:22.219
- lots of fireworks
80
00:03:23.080 --> 00:03:24.539
- but weren't able to finish.
81
00:03:25.479 --> 00:03:25.979
- Denver,
82
00:03:26.919 --> 00:03:28.459
- you had the best performance.
83
00:03:30.365 --> 00:03:31.504
- And Kansas City,
84
00:03:31.965 --> 00:03:33.805
- you were able to move the ball, but,
85
00:03:33.805 --> 00:03:34.305
- again,
86
00:03:34.844 --> 00:03:36.865
- you could not finish in the red zone.
87
00:03:39.245 --> 00:03:41.104
- So I guess what it comes down to,
88
00:03:42.050 --> 00:03:43.509
- one of the biggest thing that
89
00:03:43.810 --> 00:03:45.270
- I would put
90
00:03:45.569 --> 00:03:46.389
- on this preseason,
91
00:03:47.969 --> 00:03:48.469
- finish.
92
00:03:49.569 --> 00:03:51.430
- In your work, whatever you're doing,
93
00:03:52.050 --> 00:03:52.870
- be a finisher.
94
00:03:54.610 --> 00:03:56.264
- Learn from your mistakes,
95
00:03:56.724 --> 00:03:57.784
- and then finish.
96
00:04:00.245 --> 00:04:01.764
- You are called to work as though you're
97
00:04:01.764 --> 00:04:02.825
- working for the Lord,
98
00:04:04.485 --> 00:04:05.625
- so finish well.
99
00:04:07.764 --> 00:04:08.939
- I'm Teresa Blaise.
100
00:04:09.740 --> 00:04:11.919
- This is the Blazy Guts Podcast.
101
00:04:12.699 --> 00:04:13.520
- We're out.
1
00:00:18.295 --> 00:00:21.754
- Welcome to Blaze and Guts. I'm Teresa Blaze,
2
00:00:21.894 --> 00:00:24.695
- and today, I'm riding solo. Michelle will be
3
00:00:24.695 --> 00:00:25.994
- back with us next week.
4
00:00:26.614 --> 00:00:28.634
- We are wrapping up the
5
00:00:29.170 --> 00:00:30.130
- 2026
6
00:00:30.130 --> 00:00:30.630
- preseason.
7
00:00:31.970 --> 00:00:34.789
- So without further ado, let's get started.
8
00:00:35.649 --> 00:00:37.909
- We are gonna start with Arizona who
9
00:00:38.289 --> 00:00:39.750
- had plenty of fireworks,
10
00:00:40.850 --> 00:00:42.549
- all kettle and no hat,
11
00:00:43.465 --> 00:00:43.965
- basically.
12
00:00:45.225 --> 00:00:46.125
- They had
13
00:00:46.585 --> 00:00:48.445
- 492
14
00:00:49.385 --> 00:00:50.365
- offensive yards.
15
00:00:52.585 --> 00:00:53.085
- However,
16
00:00:53.945 --> 00:00:55.085
- with five minutes
17
00:00:55.545 --> 00:00:56.765
- left in the game,
18
00:00:57.710 --> 00:00:59.950
- they let Green Bay back in, and they
19
00:00:59.950 --> 00:01:01.329
- let them basically
20
00:01:02.670 --> 00:01:04.849
- get 15 unanswered points.
21
00:01:06.109 --> 00:01:08.769
- So then they lost 38
22
00:01:09.069 --> 00:01:10.094
- to 42.
23
00:01:11.295 --> 00:01:13.075
- Very good offensive showing.
24
00:01:14.015 --> 00:01:15.395
- I'm not questioning that.
25
00:01:16.255 --> 00:01:18.495
- I am questioning, can they close out games?
26
00:01:18.495 --> 00:01:19.314
- Can they win?
27
00:01:21.534 --> 00:01:22.355
- I don't know.
28
00:01:22.974 --> 00:01:24.194
- We're gonna find out.
29
00:01:25.420 --> 00:01:28.079
- Moving on to Green Bay, who basically had
30
00:01:28.539 --> 00:01:30.959
- the best showing of all the games,
31
00:01:31.979 --> 00:01:33.039
- of all the teams,
32
00:01:35.019 --> 00:01:36.159
- killed Minnesota
33
00:01:36.619 --> 00:01:37.840
- 34 to six,
34
00:01:39.015 --> 00:01:41.495
- holding Minnesota to 269
35
00:01:41.495 --> 00:01:44.215
- yards while putting 412
36
00:01:44.215 --> 00:01:46.795
- offensive yards on the on the field themselves.
37
00:01:48.215 --> 00:01:50.075
- And they kept Minnesota completely
38
00:01:50.614 --> 00:01:51.915
- out of the end zone.
39
00:01:52.439 --> 00:01:54.459
- That's pretty good. That's
40
00:01:56.280 --> 00:01:58.359
- you know what? If they can continue putting
41
00:01:58.359 --> 00:01:59.959
- up that kind of numbers, they're gonna say
42
00:01:59.959 --> 00:02:01.099
- something in the season.
43
00:02:02.119 --> 00:02:03.900
- I'm really excited about that.
44
00:02:05.274 --> 00:02:06.094
- Keep going.
45
00:02:06.954 --> 00:02:09.034
- Keep going. Clean up what you can clean
46
00:02:09.034 --> 00:02:09.534
- up,
47
00:02:10.235 --> 00:02:11.455
- but do your job.
48
00:02:13.914 --> 00:02:15.455
- Let's go to Kansas City.
49
00:02:16.650 --> 00:02:17.550
- They scored
50
00:02:18.010 --> 00:02:18.909
- nine points
51
00:02:20.090 --> 00:02:21.230
- tying Seattle.
52
00:02:21.770 --> 00:02:24.010
- They did not get any touchdowns, but neither
53
00:02:24.010 --> 00:02:24.750
- did Seattle.
54
00:02:25.050 --> 00:02:26.030
- Harrison Buckner
55
00:02:26.330 --> 00:02:26.830
- scored
56
00:02:27.129 --> 00:02:28.590
- all nine points.
57
00:02:29.814 --> 00:02:31.574
- Seattle actually had a chance to win the
58
00:02:31.574 --> 00:02:32.074
- game,
59
00:02:33.014 --> 00:02:33.514
- but
60
00:02:34.215 --> 00:02:35.194
- Jason Myers
61
00:02:35.655 --> 00:02:36.955
- missed a field goal.
62
00:02:39.974 --> 00:02:40.955
- Here's my concern.
63
00:02:41.895 --> 00:02:44.314
- They Kansas City can move the ball,
64
00:02:44.849 --> 00:02:47.669
- but they cannot finish in the red zone
65
00:02:47.810 --> 00:02:48.549
- so far.
66
00:02:51.090 --> 00:02:52.709
- That would be a glaring problem.
67
00:02:53.889 --> 00:02:55.650

70
00:03:01.544 --> 00:03:02.104
- You know,
71
00:03:02.504 --> 00:03:04.585
- Mitch Holt is the the the play by
72
00:03:04.585 --> 00:03:06.344
- play guy for the radio. He calls it
73
00:03:06.344 --> 00:03:07.965
- the sweet nectar of the end zone.
74
00:03:08.344 --> 00:03:10.264
- They actually need to see it a little
75
00:03:10.264 --> 00:03:11.004
- bit more.
76
00:03:13.145 --> 00:03:15.805
- So if I was to kinda summarize
77
00:03:16.599 --> 00:03:17.500
- these three teams,
78
00:03:19.719 --> 00:03:20.219
- Arizona,
79
00:03:21.239 --> 00:03:22.219
- lots of fireworks
80
00:03:23.080 --> 00:03:24.539
- but weren't able to finish.
81
00:03:25.479 --> 00:03:25.979

82
00:03:26.919 --> 00:03:28.459
- you had the best performance.
83
00:03:30.365 --> 00:03:31.504
- And Kansas City,
84
00:03:31.965 --> 00:03:33.805
- you were able to move the ball, but,
85
00:03:33.805 --> 00:03:34.305

- on this preseason,
91
00:03:47.969 --> 00:03:48.469
