AITB?: Episode 5- Kidnapping, Plant life & a D&D Bathhouse

Am I The Bastard? — Episode 5

We're back with another episode of Am I The Bastard?, where seemingly innocent questions can spiral into relationship drama, fantasy roleplay can get very personal, and sometimes you have to ask yourself... how the hell did we get here?

This week, we've got a botanical relationship question, an unconventional D&D adventure, and a kidnapping story that somehow involves a second kidnapping.

🌱 Story #1 — Would You Still Love Me If I Were a Plant?

A woman asks her partner a seemingly simple question: would he still love her if she were a plant? What follows is a discussion about love, hypothetical questions, and whether there's such a thing as giving the wrong answer to a question where there technically isn't a right one.

🛁 Story #2 — Welcome to the Bath House

A female Dungeon Master takes her players somewhere a little unexpected during their adventure—a bath house. But with her partner present, what should have been harmless fantasy roleplay becomes a potentially awkward situation. Where does roleplay end and real-world boundaries begin?

🚨 Story #3 — The Kidnapping of a Kidnap Victim

We've got a kidnapping. Then we've got someone else who decides to intervene. And somehow, we end up with a kidnapped kid being kidnapped again. It's a story that sounds ridiculous on paper, but the circumstances raise some surprisingly serious questions about good intentions, boundaries, and who actually has the right to intervene.

Three stories. Three increasingly bizarre situations. And three more chances to answer the question:
