INFORMAZIONI SU QUESTO EPISODIO
If we can feel the weight of the past, is it possible we can also sense the pull of the future? Drawing on the central themes of the novel IKONA, Dixon explores future memory—the phenomenon of a future self reaching back to guide the present. Could the blueprints for our species’ evolution already be available to us if we know how to listen?

REFERENCES & INTELLECTUAL SCAFFOLDING
I. The Philosophers of the “Vertical Axis”
These thinkers provided the bones for moving beyond linear time, mapping how the spirit intersects the daily grind.
Gaston Bachelard: The philosopher who gave us the vertical distinction. He describes the “poetic instant” as a breakthrough where we stop the horizontal flow of time to touch eternity.
Thomas Merton: A contemplative monk who explored the True Self. He saw the vertical axis as our connection to an abundant, transcendent source that exists outside the noise of modern life.
Jean Gebser: A pioneer of consciousness studies who argued that humanity is mutating into an Integral stage where time becomes transparent and the future is seen as latent within the present.
G.I. Gurdjieff: The mystic who taught the “Line of Being.” He viewed most of human life as a mechanical sleep on the horizontal plane and taught specific Work to wake up and move vertically.
II. The Science of the Field & Precognition
Modern research that validates what the mystics have always known: the body knows the future before the mind does.
Dean Radin: A leading scientist in parapsychology whose rigorous studies on presentiment show that our nervous systems physically react to events moments before they happen.
Popular Mechanics – Precognition and Time: A look at how mainstream science is beginning to grapple with the possibility that time doesn’t just flow in one direction; https://www.popularmechanics.com/science/a69560924/precognition-and-time-explained
Project Looking Glass / The Montauk Project: Notorious black budget legends and urban myths that, regardless of their literal truth, reflect our deep cultural obsession with viewing and manipulating the timeline.
III. The Somatic & Spiritual Technology
The tools we use to navigate the future and tune our internal frequency.
Cynthia Bourgeault: A modern wisdom teacher who reframes the heart as a sophisticated organ of perception used to navigate the non-linear Imaginal Realm.
The Seth Material (Jane Roberts): Channeled wisdom that introduced the “Many Worlds” concept to the mainstream, suggesting that our point of power is always in the present.
NLP & Parts Work (IFS): Clinical modalities that prove trauma isn’t just in the past—it is a frequency held in a part of us right now that can be accessed and healed from the now moment.
IV. The Visionaries & Speculative Maps
The artists who scouted the future through the power of creative transmission.
Philip K. Dick: The legendary sci-fi author who experienced profound time-slips and used his fiction to explore the thin veil between different layers of reality.
IKONA: My speculative fiction work that explores the Shambhala frequency and the choice point humanity faces during a global shattering.
