It's the Christmas season, and Kyle is joined by Centerpointe's own drummer boy, Daniel Mangrum! This episode also marks a reunion, as Kyle and Daniel, reflect on their seven years co-hosting the hockey podcast Music City Gold.
Daniel shares what inspired him to play the drums and dives into the details of life behind the kit—from how many calories he burns while playing to why there’s a microphone inside the drum cage. He also offers practical encouragement for anyone interested in learning the drums, no matter their age or experience level.
The conversation also touches on Daniel’s time playing percussion and drums at the 2017 North American Young Congress with the United Pentecostal Church International. To wrap things up, Kyle puts Daniel on the spot, asking him to reveal his all-time favorite dish from his mom’s legendary lineup of dinners and desserts.
