Pacers Position Preview: Zubac, Huff & Nance Jr. Lead a New-Look Center Room

We’re kicking off our Pacers Positional Preview Series with the group that underwent the biggest transformation this past year: the centers. Ivica Zubac. Jay Huff. Larry Nance Jr. Indiana enters the season with an almost completely new-look center rotation — and arguably the position group with the most to prove. Brad and Ryan break down what to expect from each: Ivica Zubac — What does a true physical presence at the five unlock for Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers offense? We talk expectations, projected production and how his game could evolve in Indiana. Jay Huff — Shooting, rim protection and a completely different look behind Zubac. How big of a role can Huff carve out this season? Larry Nance Jr. — The newest addition to the roster brings experience, versatility and another option for Rick Carlisle. Where does he fit into the rotation? We dive into projected roles and numbers, lineup possibilities, strengths, concerns and what success looks like for each player. It’s the newest position group on the Pacers roster — and maybe the one with the most to prove.
