3. Jason Taylor
Please enjoy this epic, feature-length episode of The Hill that covers more ground than Mitchell Pearce evading Craig Gower at Twin Waters. We commence with incisive analysis of NRL Island, Emperor Vlandys, Kayo subscriptions and why Sparks isn’t on the innovation committee. We then follow with a classic “Who (or is it ‘whom’?) Would You Rather Be?” before an abbreviated “Are You Interested?” which for once does not source an article from Zerotackle.com.
That’s the entrée before the boon in the form of a huge interview with Mr Natural, Jason Taylor (32:30 mins in). For thirty blockbuster minutes we journeyed around the Adventureland of Rugby League during His Era, covering Alfie Langer, Warren Ryan as Mozart, the Super League Bizarro World, the Northern Eagles experience, and how template letters got his career back on track. His coaching career came next, where Taylor dodged bullets about coaching ‘The Big Four’, Robbie Farah, Tim Simona, and Taylor’s own recollections of Tim Sparks, the fan.
We conclude with a new sub-segment for Tiger Corner that should whet the appetite of any early 2000s obscurist, Sparks introduces a new segment ambitiously titled “What Could Have Been?” before we wrap your observations with “For Mine”.
A huge thanks to all of you for helping The Hill re-start its engine in 2020, especially those who’ve liked, subscribed, and submitted reviews. We’re going to dial up our social “engagement” in this nostalgia-heavy environment, so we look forward to catching you online this coming week.

On the show: laying off the Broncos for the week, Kevin Proctor gets detention, a new segment “A Bit a History”, still no room for Paul or Sam in the top league names, a tribute to Chris Lawerence.
A barnstormer from the Warhorse this week folks: Pezza delivers a broadside via text, Rod Wishart takes on Brett Rodwell, the Tigers do what the Tigers do (are they actually overachieving?) and your many and varied questions.
Brissy, Mary, Browny, Madge, Wayne, David's Gillespie v Furner, For mine. Enough said.
