INFORMAZIONI SU QUESTO EPISODIO
"Fully follow your heart. It's an easy thing to say — but when you really get down to it, it will guide you to where you need to go."
That's the kind of wisdom that only comes from someone who's actually done it. Twice.
We're coming to you live from Hamptons Tech Week 2026 at Montauk Yacht Club, and this episode is one you didn't see coming — in the best way.
Justin Eldridge spent two decades as a professional skateboarder — traveling the world, building influence, and learning more about people than most ever will. Then he found golf. And then food. And what he's building now at the intersection of all three is something the industry has never seen.
Meet Golf With Flavor — and its food and beverage arm, House of Flavor — a brand rooted not in sport, but in people. Community. Connection. And doing it all together.
In this episode we get into:
— Two decades as a pro skateboarder and what the road actually teaches you about people
— How Justin walked into brand collaborations without even mentioning skateboarding — and still closed the room
— Why he believes money is the wrong goal — and what to chase instead
— The pivot from skateboarding to golf, and why golf is far more diverse than people think
— Golf With Flavor and House of Flavor — what he's building and why it matters
— Why he took peer counseling four times in high school and how it shaped everything
— His hot take: you can be selfish — if you want the right things for everyone
— Why winning alone sucks, and what it really means to build something together
— The no-asshole policy and why Elevate Collection and Justin are cut from the same cloth
"Winning alone sucks. We all gotta win together."
That's the whole game. And Justin Eldridge is playing it right.
This is what the Elevate Collection Podcast was built for — real conversations with people who are doing it differently, filmed live from the rooms most people never get access to.

TRASCRIZIONE 🔗
00:00:00.239 --> 00:00:02.000
Hey everybody, Elevate Collection here.
00:00:02.160 --> 00:00:06.799
I'll at Hanson Stack League Montanque Yacht Club, joined by our friend Justin Elders.
00:00:07.040 --> 00:00:07.599
Welcome to the podcast.
00:00:08.240 --> 00:00:09.279
Thank you so much for having me.
00:00:09.519 --> 00:00:15.679
Tell the community a little bit about who you are, where you've been, and what's coming next.
00:00:16.000 --> 00:00:30.559
Yeah, uh just spent, gosh, two decades of my life being a professional skateboarder, traveling the world, meeting a lot of people, learning a lot about people, and then later on found golf and uh seemed to be the basically the exact same thing.
00:00:30.640 --> 00:00:41.439
And kind of like I met a lot of people through skateboarding, but like with golf, it's like it's almost it's so crazy because it's it's kind of segmented and it feels like it's not diverse, but it's extremely diverse.
00:00:41.600 --> 00:00:50.399
And so being able to meet new people all ages, like obviously skateboarding, you're you're kind of in the same age group as you know the people around you.
00:00:50.560 --> 00:00:55.359
Whereas like golf is, you know, I golfed with a 90-year-old the other day that was just the best talking shit.
00:00:55.439 --> 00:01:00.000
And it's just been so fun to like see that people side of this game.
00:01:00.320 --> 00:01:00.799
Totally.
00:01:00.960 --> 00:01:01.200
Okay.
00:01:01.280 --> 00:01:04.799
So you you garnered this massive influence through skateboarding.
00:01:04.959 --> 00:01:12.799
You've worked with brands, you've done collaborations, you've done all kinds of incredible things, but how are you now using that influence to create a legacy outside of skateboarding?
00:01:13.040 --> 00:01:14.319
Yeah, I mean, it's a great question.
00:01:14.400 --> 00:01:15.760
I I struggle with it a lot.
00:01:15.840 --> 00:01:27.359
I mean, we've done uh collabs with companies where it's not until the third conversation that I even mentioned that I was a skateboarder and very blessed to have those third conversations end up being like, hey, I know who you are, kind of thing.
00:01:27.519 --> 00:01:47.760
So to use that as a as kind of a bridge to further my love for people and uh, you know, create this brand that once again is just is being, it's about people, but understanding what the game is missing, uh missing because I'm a I'm a huge I love to learn and I I pay attention to to what's missing.
00:01:47.920 --> 00:01:56.560
And I'd like the legacy that I've created through skateboarding to kind of transcend skateboarding and go into more of just a people thing.
00:01:56.640 --> 00:02:04.879
Like we are all in this together, and I want to be able to feed people the right foods and like give back to people in the best way I can.
00:02:05.040 --> 00:02:06.799
So yeah, that's what I want to do.
00:02:07.040 --> 00:02:08.400
What's the name of the new company?
00:02:08.560 --> 00:02:13.840
So the company's called Golf with Flavor, but what we're doing with food and beverage, it's called House of Flavor.
00:02:14.159 --> 00:02:15.919
I love the double play there.
00:02:16.159 --> 00:02:21.520
Okay, when you were in the thick of it, when you were skateboarding, were you even considering what was next after that at all?
00:02:21.680 --> 00:02:22.800
Were you thinking business?
00:02:22.960 --> 00:02:25.280
Were you thinking what your next opportunity was gonna be?
00:02:25.520 --> 00:02:31.120
I will say that the simplest things are like the best things, and I think they're overlooked.
00:02:31.280 --> 00:02:36.560
Like I will say that if you truly follow your heart, you will succeed in whatever you do.
00:02:36.639 --> 00:02:38.319
And it doesn't matter what it is.
00:02:38.400 --> 00:02:41.759
Like, I fell in love with skateboarding and and I made a career out of it.
00:02:41.840 --> 00:02:45.199
I fell in love with golf and I made a career out of it.
00:02:45.439 --> 00:02:50.800
I've I fell in love with food, and now it's fully I'm gonna be making some stuff happen with that.
00:02:50.960 --> 00:02:56.560
So I think like fully, fully follow your heart, and it's super hard.
00:02:56.639 --> 00:03:05.759
That's it's an easy thing to say, but when you really get down to it, you if you follow your heart and know that it's not gonna be easy, then it will guide you to where you need to go.
00:03:06.319 --> 00:03:07.280
That's such good advice.
00:03:07.439 --> 00:03:07.680
Okay.
00:03:07.919 --> 00:03:10.080
Is there a hill you're willing to die on?
00:03:10.400 --> 00:03:11.039
What do you mean?
00:03:11.280 --> 00:03:18.960
Like, is there something that you're like, this is my opinion on this one thing, and it's a hot tank, and and I'm gonna stand by it no matter what.
00:03:19.680 --> 00:03:25.280
Yeah, I I kind of goes back to like don't rely on money.
00:03:25.439 --> 00:03:29.120
I don't think that that is the way that you succeed.
00:03:29.280 --> 00:03:36.080
I think money buys a lot of things, and if you're the have the right mindset, it can it can do a lot of great things.
00:03:36.240 --> 00:03:43.360
But if you're concentrating only on being successful in the sense of financial stuff, it's not the play.
00:03:43.520 --> 00:03:48.639
I think I I I truly believe that you have to, like I said, just love what you're doing.
00:03:48.800 --> 00:03:52.319
And if anything, it's like you you get taught a lot of different things.
00:03:52.400 --> 00:03:57.120
But I think in high school, like I took peer counseling, peer counseling in high school four times.
00:03:57.360 --> 00:03:57.840
Four times.
00:03:58.080 --> 00:03:59.280
It literally was like me.
00:03:59.439 --> 00:04:01.840
I think there was like two other dudes, it was all girls.
00:04:02.000 --> 00:04:08.800
And uh you really just if you focus on what people need and ask the right questions of how you can help people, it'll get you really far.
00:04:09.039 --> 00:04:10.719
Yeah, and that's the whole premise of what we're doing here.
00:04:10.800 --> 00:04:12.400
We believe that we elevate by elevating others.
00:04:12.639 --> 00:04:15.919
If you move forward in the world taking care of other people, the universe is gonna have your back.
00:04:16.160 --> 00:04:16.959
It's a hundred percent.
00:04:17.040 --> 00:04:24.079
And I think like I've realized that like you can be selfish if you want the right things for everyone.
00:04:24.240 --> 00:04:37.199
But then when that happens, then it turns from selfish into selfless, and then you start to really grow, and then you start to really be able to just enjoy what you're doing because we can't win, like winning alone sucks.
00:04:37.360 --> 00:04:37.680
It does.
00:04:38.079 --> 00:04:38.560
You know what I mean?
00:04:38.639 --> 00:04:39.839
Like, we all gotta win together.
00:04:40.000 --> 00:04:42.720
We all we love to say we just want to do cool things with people we like.
00:04:42.879 --> 00:04:49.680
It's like the it's crazy because it's like when I'm with people, I always end up with good people, so we're all thinking the same thing, you know what I mean?
00:04:50.560 --> 00:04:53.759
It to a degree, like not a lot of people think like that.
00:04:53.920 --> 00:04:54.319
I know.
00:04:54.560 --> 00:04:54.959
It's crazy.
00:04:55.199 --> 00:04:57.279
Oh, so we we've implemented an NAP.
00:04:57.680 --> 00:04:58.319
Amazing.
00:04:58.720 --> 00:04:59.839
No asshole policy.
00:05:00.079 --> 00:05:01.759
You can't rock with us if you're an asshole.
00:05:01.920 --> 00:05:04.319
I'm yeah, yeah, I agree 100%.
00:05:05.040 --> 00:05:10.240
Okay, what's one thing the elephant community can do to elevate your life right now?
00:05:10.560 --> 00:05:10.879
This.
00:05:11.120 --> 00:05:13.920
I mean, I think I uh I'm a faithful person.
00:05:14.079 --> 00:05:17.199
I I don't do religion, but I believe in a higher power.
00:05:17.279 --> 00:05:24.879
And I think that like these opportunities for us to spread the message of like helping and and and doing it together, I think is a huge part of it.
00:05:25.040 --> 00:05:29.439
So if we can do this together and s and have people hear it, then we're winning.
00:05:29.680 --> 00:05:31.680
Where can everyone find you and how do they get involved?
00:05:31.920 --> 00:05:34.800
Uh, golf with flavor is our Instagram.
00:05:35.040 --> 00:05:37.040

Like if you have any questions or anything I can help, please hit me up.
00:05:45.680 --> 00:05:47.279
But yeah, those are the two the two things.
00:05:47.759 --> 00:05:49.439
Let's go on down in Justin DMs.
00:05:49.600 --> 00:05:52.240
Slide in there, hit him up, let's do some business.
00:05:52.560 --> 00:05:53.120
Let's do it.
00:05:53.279 --> 00:05:53.839
Thank you for having me.
00:05:54.160 --> 00:05:54.560
Justin.
