After arriving in New Zealand, they navigate strict biosecurity procedures, delayed luggage, illness, and other unexpected problems that completely reshape their original Auckland itinerary. Instead of packing their days with sightseeing, Auckland becomes the reset they actually need after nearly three weeks of nonstop travel.
Their stay at Park Hyatt Auckland proves especially valuable during the chaos. The hotel's location, spacious suite, and exceptional service give them a comfortable base while recovering, tracking down luggage, and handling medical issues.
