INFORMAZIONI SU QUESTO EPISODIO
In this episode, we interview Dr. Konrad Kording, a transdisciplinary researcher who studies computational neuroscience and machine learning (among other areas).
Dr. Kording talks about his early frustrations with school, how to get hired and enter fields right before they take off, and his advice to young researchers on networking.
PhDemystified invites faculty from the University of Pennsylvania to open up about the unspoken struggles of becoming a scientist. In their interviews, researchers talk honestly about imposter syndrome, facing rejection, asking for help, and more. Recorded from an interview series "Behind the CV" hosted by MindCORE (the mind and brain center for outreach, research, and education at the University of Pennsylvania) and CURF (the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships), PhDemystified aims to create open dialogue around becoming and being a scientist, as inspired by the worldwide conversation series “Growing Up in Science” from NYU.
