Petra: Who are those leaders behind those inspiring careers? what encouraged them to pursue their own path, even though everybody else expected them to do something completely different? A human rights lawyer who moved to Afghanistan to fight for human rights. A radio host who became the vice president of his country. A hedge fund manager who started his health tech company. A entrepreneur from Silicon Valley who moved to Addis Abeba to found an asset-heavy business. An artist who did not study in Paris or New York, as everybody recommended, but at Stanford. What drove those people and how did they make their decisions? Hi, I'm Petra, and I'm launching Outbound, a podcast on the life stories and learnings from leaders. So we look behind the scenes and get to know the people. And throughout the course of my career, be it at Stanford, at Google, or at the Young Global Leaders community from the World Economic Forum, I got to know such amazing people, and I wish to share some of those stories with you. Tune in on your favorite podcast channel next week. See you there.
