It’s Pride in West Hollywood, which means the Vanderpump Rules crew is climbing aboard Lisa Vanderpump’s fabulous parade float—and bringing enough relationship drama to ruin the celebration. In Season 1, Episode 2, “This Is a Break-Up,” Lisa puts her SUR staff to work preparing for Pride, but the real spectacle is happening between the restaurant’s resident queen bee, Stassi Schroeder, and her increasingly desperate boyfriend, Jax Taylor.
When Stassi catches Scheana Shay and Jax flirting, her suspicions send the SUR crew straight into another round of arguments, accusations, and awkward workplace tension. Jax insists he wants to repair his rocky relationship with Stassi, but his behavior at a SUR birthday party—including a drunken, seven-shot spectacle—makes it increasingly difficult to believe he’s ready to grow up. By the end of the episode, Stassi is questioning whether their turbulent relationship has finally reached its expiration date.
