RIVALRY: Who Will Be BETTER In 2026?—Purdue Boilermakers STICK to Tradition as Indiana Hoosiers SHAKE College Hoops

Purdue and Indiana Basketball set the stage for a heated rivalry, each chasing Big Ten dominance with wildy different strategies. Purdue sticks with homegrown talent and player development, while Indiana reloads via the transfer portal, bringing in stars like Aidan Sherrell and Marcus Burton. Which approach will win out by 2026, and can either team reclaim its place atop the NCAA Tournament landscape?

Nick Arvin and Jacob Goins break down both programs’ new-look rosters, highlight potential breakout players like Antione West for Purdue, and debate the season’s biggest questions. They preview high-stakes exhibition games—Purdue faces Ball State, Indiana tests themselves against North Carolina—while examining lineup battles and the importance of frontcourt size. The conversation heats up around football as well: is Indiana primed to upset Ohio State, and can Purdue keep their momentum rolling? Don’t miss this sharp, rivalry-fueled preview of a pivotal season for both Hoosiers and Boilermakers fans.
