INFORMAZIONI SU QUESTO EPISODIO
🚨 NEW KILLER KONTENT EPISODE 🚨
This week on Killer Kontent, we’ve got domestic violence allegations, one of the biggest gold heists in history, AI bringing murder victims “back to life” in the courtroom — and updates on some of the biggest cases we’ve been following.
We start with former Bachelor star Sam Wood, the domestic violence charges against him and what happened at his bail hearing.!
Then, how do you steal millions of dollars worth of gold from an airport? We dive into the extraordinary Canadian gold heist and the investigation into where all that gold went.
We also look at the controversial new frontier of AI in the courtroom. Families are now able to recreate deceased loved ones using artificial intelligence — allowing victims to seemingly speak from beyond the grave. But should an AI version of a murder victim ever be allowed to influence a judge deciding someone’s sentence?
Plus, it’s a HUGE week for updates. We check back in on Christa Pike following her horrifying failed execution, the latest evidence in the Beau Lamarre-Condon double-murder trial, Greg Lynn, Maree Crabtree, and the verdict in the Mexican murder trial of Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson and American Jack Carter Rhoad.
🎬 CRIME POP CULTURE
We review Netflix’s new true-crime documentary The Widower: ’Til Death Do Us Part, about an investigation into a man whose trail of failed marriages was accompanied by suspicious deaths.
We also check out The Whisper Man, the new crime thriller starring Robert De Niro, based on Alex North’s bestselling novel about a child’s disappearance and its connection to a notorious serial killer.
And in podcasts, we review We Are Jane Doe, the powerful three-part investigation from KQED’s Snap Studios into allegations of sexual abuse, violence and abuses of power inside one of America’s largest women’s prisons.
