This week Bruce and Wayne had special guest Travis Lutter, who is a retired UFC fighter, based in Fort Worth, Texas, and is a Jiu-Jitsu instructor. He opened a Jiu-Jitsu school in 1998 and it is still open today, unlike traditional schools he mostly teaches adults instead of predominantly kids, he also discusses how his school is set up and how he trains his students. Travis discusses his fighting journey and the difference between Jiu-Jitsu and other fighting styles. Later in the program, Bruce and Travis discussed how fighters would make weight and what methods they would use to drop to the desired weight before a fight. After his career was complete Travis spent a lot of time figuring out who he was outside of fighting and he also talked about how this led to coaching.
