INFORMAZIONI SU QUESTO EPISODIO
Today, we're looking at Acts 11.
Discussion Questions:
What vision did Peter have while he was praying? What did God teach Peter through the vision?
What do you think it means to have a heart like Barnabas—someone who encourages others? Who can you encourage in their faith this week?
Prayer Prompt:
Today, pray that we would be faithful to share the gospel even when the people around us are very different from us and maybe even hard to love sometimes. Ask God to give you compassion for those around you that looks at the heart of people rather than just want we see on the outside.
Unreached of the Day:
Our unreached people group of the day is the Buyang people group of China. The Buyang people are known for growing rice and even catching geckos to be used in Chinese medicine. The Buyang worship their ancestors, observing rituals to ensure their ancestors are taken care of in the next life. They offer food so the spirits won't go hungry and burn large amounts of paper money in hopes of providing their ancestors with wealth . Their ancestor worship traps the Buyang in lies, keeping them from accepting that Christ has provided for all their spiritual needs. Few Buyang have any awareness of the gospel or the reason Jesus came to earth. Pray today that the Buyang people would know that Jesus died for their sins but came back to life and still is alive and working today!
