8 NFL Draft Prospects That NEED to Prove It In 2026

Some Devy prospects are still living off projection. In 2026, it’s time to deliver.

Chris and Dustin each bring four players they like, or have liked, who enter this college football season with something to prove. For some, it's about taking the next step toward the NFL. For others, it's staying healthy, cleaning up major holes in their game, or simply protecting the Devy value they already have.

We get into CJ Bailey, Bryce Underwood, Josh Hoover, Raleek Brown, Hollywood Smothers, CJ Baxter, Mario Craver and Ryan Coleman-Williams, breaking down what we've seen so far and the questions each player needs to answer in 2026.

Can Bryce Underwood take the Year 2 leap and justify his massive Devy valuation? Can Raleek Brown emerge from a crowded Texas backfield? Can Mario Craver turn his explosiveness into premium NFL Draft stock? And can Ryan Coleman-Williams finally turn the talent into consistent production?

Eight talented prospects. Eight very different situations. Time to deliver.
