TENTANG EPISODE INI
In this episode of the Uploft Interior Design Podcast, I catch you up on what’s happening in my world, from unpredictable summer weather and vacation plans to the surprising fact that my design mailbag is completely empty, making it the perfect time to send me your decorating questions. I take you behind the scenes of several client projects, including the challenge of designing an open-concept home with multiple coordinating rugs, working within a tight budget, solving tricky rental restrictions, and balancing client preferences with practical design solutions. Along the way, I share some of my favorite design tips—like why you should never use the same rug in different sizes in adjoining spaces and why I only push clients three times before fully embracing their decisions. Finally, I switch gears to share my thoughts on Netflix’s The Ultimatum, discussing what I think the show gets wrong, the moments that felt overly produced, and why some situations crossed the line from entertaining reality TV into genuinely concerning territory. Overall, it’s a fun mix of real-life interior design challenges, practical decorating advice, and a little pop culture commentary.
