TREE OF KNOWLEDGE | ADVANCING DEMONIC IMAGERY

Featuring Dr. Stephen Phinney

Throughout October, Dr. Stephen Phinney unveils a gripping, historic journey into one of Scripture’s most unsettling locations—Pergamon, the Temple of Hollow Weeny. Each week, you’ll step into the ancient world Yeshua Himself identified as “where Satan’s throne is,” and discover how its dark legacy threads directly into the modern celebration of Halloween.

In this episode, Dr. Phinney reveals that many believers are duped into advancing the very faces of Satan simply because they do not recognize how subtle his strategies have become. Just as Balaam seduced Israel through participation rather than open rebellion, the enemy now disguises darkness in cultural traditions, entertainment, and “harmless” celebrations that seem innocent on the surface. Without discernment, Christians end up promoting imagery, rituals, and narratives that glorify fear, death, and rebellion against God—never realizing they are lending their voice, their influence, and even their children to the enemy’s agenda. Satan doesn’t need believers to worship him outright; he only needs them to participate without thinking. And in that participation, the faces of darkness are advanced by the very people called to expose them.
