TENTANG EPISODE INI
✨ Episode Summary
In this episode of the Rough Draft Podcast, Sabrina sits down with Reema Kumari, a life sciences professional turned author, to discuss her transformative new book, Breaking Apart. Reema shares the raw, unscripted journey of "channeling" her story during her darkest moments and how she bridged the gap between her analytical, logic-based career and her deep-seated esoteric wisdom.
The conversation dives deep into the "Eagle Analogy" of transformation, the difference between breaking down and breaking open, and why true liberation requires uncoupling from the autopilot of subconscious patterns. If you’ve ever felt like your life was shattering, this episode is a powerful reminder that the fragments can give rise to something entirely new and authentically free.
Key Takeaways:
- The Unplanned Process: Reema discusses how her book wasn't born from an outline or a course, but emerged as a survival mechanism and a natural unfolding of her own healing.
- Breaking Apart vs. Breaking Open: A shift in perspective on life’s crises—realizing that we don't put the old pieces back together; we allow a new, authentic self to arise from the brokenness.
- The Eagle Analogy: A powerful look at the brutal, layered process of transformation that often begins in our 40s, involving the shedding of old "beaks and talons" (outdated survival mechanisms) to soar again.
- Defining Freedom: Moving beyond judgment and people-pleasing to reach a state where you accept yourself fully and grant others the same grace.
- Alchemy of Struggle: Understanding that while struggle is universal, we have the power to alchemize it into wisdom rather than remaining stuck in the "well."
