00:00:00.653 --> 00:00:00.979
Good morning.
00:00:00.979 --> 00:00:02.504
Good morning, sir.
00:00:02.504 --> 00:00:05.838
This is episode 105.
00:00:06.120 --> 00:00:07.264
105,.
00:00:07.325 --> 00:00:10.628
I think yeah, it's February of 2024.
00:00:10.628 --> 00:00:25.911
We're going to hit just an interesting development in my the way in which I process new information.
00:00:25.911 --> 00:00:26.763
Okay.
00:00:26.923 --> 00:00:28.740
I like that Before we start.
00:00:28.740 --> 00:00:30.704
I'm Jonathan Noel and I'm Brian Noel.
00:00:30.725 --> 00:00:36.878
This is the Focus Cast, where we help you reduce distractions, increase focus so you can live a life with Intention, intention.
00:00:37.539 --> 00:00:38.000
Be intentional.
00:00:38.000 --> 00:00:40.006
Be intentional with your intentions.
00:00:40.006 --> 00:00:40.448
Yeah.
00:00:40.448 --> 00:00:42.526
What if you have unintentional intentions?
00:00:43.280 --> 00:00:52.429
That's our subconscious and I think that drives the majority of most people's life, pretty much yeah, so we'll just jump right in.
00:00:52.429 --> 00:00:53.212
Why not yeah?
00:00:53.212 --> 00:00:55.804
Because then we're meeting someone for lunch, okay.
00:00:55.804 --> 00:01:18.972
So okay, in articulating how I approach new information now versus, say, a year ago, and why that's significant, is because I've been intentional about learning how to.
00:01:18.972 --> 00:01:25.364
I don't even know how to articulate it, but just being more grounded.
00:01:25.926 --> 00:01:26.106
Yeah.
00:01:27.361 --> 00:01:28.885
But that's been the goal.
00:01:28.986 --> 00:01:29.629
A little context.
00:01:29.629 --> 00:01:33.789
You had this association for most of your life, most of my life, whatever.
00:01:35.561 --> 00:01:36.382
So I started.
00:01:36.382 --> 00:01:41.260
For some of our followers who listened to everything, you know this.
00:01:41.260 --> 00:01:47.585
But in quick summary, I started therapy just because I wanted to clear mine and I wanted to remember some of my childhood.
00:01:48.066 --> 00:01:51.757
Yeah, you had a big gap, or you didn't remember anything?
00:01:51.778 --> 00:02:08.746
Yeah, and then that was typical therapy EMDR doing some stuff, breaking new territory, clearing trauma, peeling the onion Right, and then it got to the core Right and then it started getting crazy.
00:02:10.219 --> 00:02:12.947
Then you started looking at how you do everything differently.
00:02:13.468 --> 00:02:18.000
Yeah, yeah, then we'll use some different.
00:02:18.402 --> 00:02:20.294
The next phase of work starts, yeah.
00:02:21.420 --> 00:02:23.947
Different phrasing for different people in different belief systems.
00:02:23.947 --> 00:02:25.270
False self, true self.
00:02:25.270 --> 00:02:27.466
I broke past the default network.
00:02:27.466 --> 00:02:29.144
I broke past the ego.
00:02:29.144 --> 00:02:39.068
Access to the soul beyond just the mind, Whatever you want to say yeah, insert yeah.
00:02:40.080 --> 00:02:43.426
What I realized is most of everything is all talking about the same thing.
00:02:43.586 --> 00:02:43.828
Yeah.
00:02:44.187 --> 00:02:44.830
The same feeling.
00:02:45.129 --> 00:02:57.490
Yeah Well, and if there's one thing that I have learned in all of this work, is that getting all flustered about you using the right term or the wrong term.
00:02:57.490 --> 00:02:58.973
I don't do that anymore.
00:02:59.622 --> 00:03:00.545
Well, isn't that something?
00:03:02.906 --> 00:03:03.448
Isn't that great.
00:03:03.448 --> 00:03:07.135
Yeah, I mean, language is not an absolute.
00:03:07.135 --> 00:03:17.847
No, language is just the way in which we try to describe what the is going on in this world, all of us are feeling the same thing, just explaining it in different ways.
00:03:17.986 --> 00:03:21.252
Yeah, yeah, so, okay, cool.
00:03:21.252 --> 00:03:24.146
So here's the situation or here's the scenario.
00:03:24.146 --> 00:03:30.610
So the very specific work is reprogramming.
00:03:30.610 --> 00:03:44.081
We've talked about inter-narrative, we've talked about inter-critic, we've talked about the manager, the manager in the internal family systems and how the manager tells you what to do every day.
00:03:44.081 --> 00:03:47.788
We've talked about introspective work.
00:03:47.788 --> 00:03:49.805
So we've talked around this.
00:03:49.805 --> 00:04:07.774
But the past two and a half months, really since November, since I broke through the surface or got to some of the core, is reprogramming.
00:04:09.633 --> 00:04:21.572
Yeah, so for me, some of the programs, some of the scripts I talked about this, I think, in episode 101, but you're cursed, you're a failure, all those kind of programs that are subconscious.
00:04:21.572 --> 00:04:27.463
I wasn't like a depressed, sad person that every time you talk to me I was just like, oh, I'm such a loser.
00:04:27.463 --> 00:04:39.509
It was more like I'm a very optimistic person but deep inside I didn't believe it, because it was a program run into my subconscious that I was cursed.
00:04:39.509 --> 00:05:05.252
So now it's reprogramming and what's interesting from the delineation between just pure cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy change your behavior and then you'll slowly Versus what I feel like I've been doing, which is radical, deep soul work.
00:05:05.252 --> 00:05:18.107
So I don't feel like I'm just working in the prefrontal cortex and the amygdala, the thinking brain or the process, and emotional brain.
00:05:18.408 --> 00:05:19.189
You moved on to.
00:05:19.189 --> 00:05:22.509
It feels like the whole package yeah.
00:05:23.783 --> 00:05:25.468
Now again, that just may be what it feels like.
00:05:25.468 --> 00:05:26.088
I don't know.
00:05:26.088 --> 00:05:29.408
I'm not saying that's wrong or whatever.
00:05:29.408 --> 00:05:33.411
I'm not picking a side here but that's what it feels like to me.
00:05:33.411 --> 00:05:34.884
It feels like moving out of the brain.
00:05:34.884 --> 00:06:01.870
So in reprogramming also the work to this concept of radical non-judgment which we talked about, so the negative programs and the negative judgment, self-judgment, definitely control a lot of our thinking energy as human beings?
00:06:02.721 --> 00:06:04.759
Yeah, most definitely so.
00:06:04.759 --> 00:06:23.213
What's been fun about the work is to start to pull apart the emotional response to the environment and then to be able to run a new program free from judgment.
00:06:23.213 --> 00:06:25.362
Here's an example.
00:06:25.362 --> 00:06:30.846
So in being an entrepreneur, there's ups, there's downs.
00:06:30.846 --> 00:06:34.411
There's just part of the course.
00:06:34.411 --> 00:06:45.870
And what's been really interesting is, in the past couple of months, as I've been kind of catapulted because of a session I did on November 11th.
00:06:45.870 --> 00:07:02.600
I've been kind of catapulted into this like intense introspective work to challenge my entire default network, which is everything I know to be true.
00:07:02.600 --> 00:07:09.430
My default network, yeah, does On Venus, you know, like just these things.
00:07:09.430 --> 00:07:13.879
Like default network is like you can drive and think about something else at the same time.
00:07:14.526 --> 00:07:31.096
You know, it's as simple as that, but it says Complex is like if you grew up where you had a mom who got stressed out every holiday because everything had to be perfect, but she made it not perfect because she was so stressed out and she yelled at every everyone your default network is.
00:07:31.096 --> 00:07:32.798
That's the way holidays go.
00:07:33.286 --> 00:07:33.848
Right, right.
00:07:33.848 --> 00:07:37.326
Yeah, that's just you.
00:07:37.326 --> 00:07:38.127
That's all you've seen.
00:07:38.127 --> 00:07:39.350
Yeah, that's what you know.
00:07:39.350 --> 00:07:44.740
It's a reprogram, yeah, that oh, holidays aren't perfection, doesn't make.
00:07:45.466 --> 00:07:52.273
Joy, yeah, and the purpose of holiday is joy, right, so letting go, so anyway.
00:07:52.273 --> 00:07:57.130
So so before you know, I've, I've.
00:07:57.130 --> 00:08:05.435
I've tried things as an entrepreneur my whole life, you know, since we had a recording studio and I was in middle school, so I'm familiar with things working and things not working.
00:08:05.435 --> 00:08:07.182
Yeah that's nothing new there.
00:08:07.182 --> 00:08:07.925
Yeah, nothing new there.
00:08:07.925 --> 00:08:17.208
So in the past the program that would run when I hit a roadblock or Something came up Would to.
00:08:17.208 --> 00:08:21.476
The program would run that I told you so yeah, your failure.
00:08:22.526 --> 00:08:23.588
This was never gonna work.
00:08:23.588 --> 00:08:28.117
Yeah and stuff for you thinking all that, yeah, the usual suspects.
00:08:28.689 --> 00:08:45.993
So this is the first time in the history of my life that I know of mm-hmm where, in navigating these Just typical things, when I was hit with information, the negative program didn't run at all.
00:08:47.547 --> 00:08:51.932
You just Kind of zoomed out and looked at it.
00:08:52.333 --> 00:08:53.256
It's pretty interesting.
00:08:53.256 --> 00:09:07.916
I what I could see was clear separation between the emotional response and the programs, the scripts Running to analyze the emotional response.
00:09:07.916 --> 00:09:26.659
So what I saw for the first time was a clear delineation and detachment from that the Emotional response to the situation, and then what program I was able to apply to the emotion in response to the external event, mm-hmm.
00:09:26.659 --> 00:09:37.013
So I didn't experience a flash of emotion and Then the script told me what it was.
00:09:37.013 --> 00:10:03.753
I got to literally experience the emotion and then, with my logical brain, ask myself I guess my subconscious, I don't really know, maybe I should talk to a psychiatrist or someone a neurologist, but my thinking brain got to literally Talk to the subconscious and say what program are we gonna run in response to this, to apply to this emotional response to the situation?
00:10:04.153 --> 00:10:04.533
Is that not?
00:10:04.615 --> 00:10:04.995
insane.
00:10:04.995 --> 00:10:06.418
That's pretty amazing.
00:10:06.418 --> 00:10:12.657
So then the thinking brain I was able to say it's okay to feel disappointed.
00:10:12.657 --> 00:10:18.091
Yeah, Completely free from judgment right.
00:10:18.292 --> 00:10:22.184
That's way different than feeling like a failure and everything you do is cursed.
00:10:22.505 --> 00:10:26.234
Yeah, I was literally able to say I feel disappointed.
00:10:26.234 --> 00:10:28.038
And it's okay to feel disappointed.
00:10:28.038 --> 00:10:42.573
Yeah, it's okay to be cautious or now a bit Curious or nervous about you know.
00:10:42.573 --> 00:10:43.034
Okay, cool.
00:10:43.034 --> 00:10:43.957
Well, what's next?
00:10:43.957 --> 00:10:44.438
Mm-hmm.
00:10:44.980 --> 00:10:49.615
Yeah, and instead of it's like well, if it's okay to feel that way, I have a family, I have kids.
00:10:49.615 --> 00:10:52.029
You know I want to, I want to provide for them.
00:10:52.029 --> 00:11:03.374
You know I want to do all these things as a man and as a as a human, but instead of that, like typical, like you know, you're not gonna be able to provide for your family.
00:11:03.414 --> 00:11:04.538
Your friend is gonna think you're a.
00:11:04.538 --> 00:11:05.563
You know all that stuff.
00:11:05.604 --> 00:11:08.490
For me, letting down my family was one of the core fears.
00:11:08.490 --> 00:11:09.273
Mm-hmm.
00:11:09.273 --> 00:11:21.908
I actually, in a therapy session, visualized sitting at the table, having to Tell my family that I'm a failure and them realizing it.
00:11:23.385 --> 00:11:24.230
You did that in a session.
00:11:24.451 --> 00:11:29.735
Yeah, and that was like that's just what came up and and that produced one of the core fears.
00:11:30.357 --> 00:11:35.913
Yeah, I Think this one's pretty Common, yeah, cuz I have some too.
00:11:35.913 --> 00:11:43.309
Yeah you know it's like not wanting to fail Anyone that you care about.
00:11:43.309 --> 00:11:53.038
Yeah, of course, right, which, if you go to the bottom of that, I think that just ends that you don't want to fail the creator.
00:11:53.038 --> 00:11:53.698
Yeah.
00:11:55.407 --> 00:12:06.466
Yeah, or you have a construed version of the creator and yeah, doesn't matter.
00:12:06.527 --> 00:12:07.568
The point is it still sucks.
00:12:07.568 --> 00:12:10.033
Yeah when you feel like you failed, even if you didn't.
00:12:10.033 --> 00:12:12.357
Yeah, so that's a default.
00:12:12.357 --> 00:12:18.836
Whatever program script or Program script, whatever the hell you name, whatever name, it doesn't matter.
00:12:18.836 --> 00:12:23.277
Whatever you want to call it to work through, yeah we should start creating new words.
00:12:24.629 --> 00:12:25.398
What does that word mean?
00:12:25.398 --> 00:12:26.144
We just give it a meaning.
00:12:26.144 --> 00:12:35.011
But yeah, so it was actually, and all this is pretty recent for me, so it was.
00:12:35.011 --> 00:12:48.491
It's been really interesting to Actually be able to work through this in this way, you know, to be able to.
00:12:48.491 --> 00:12:51.427
It's almost like now that I've cause.
00:12:51.427 --> 00:12:52.672
Y'all have heard me say this before.
00:12:52.672 --> 00:12:53.847
Jonathan, you mentioned this before.
00:12:53.847 --> 00:12:57.232
So for me, in therapy, I'm not just going to therapy and about life.
00:12:57.232 --> 00:13:00.455
I prepare for what I want to get out of that session.
00:13:00.455 --> 00:13:08.091
This is the way I approach any any, whether it's a business mentor, whether it's my freaking CPA, You're squeezing as much out of it as you can.
00:13:08.091 --> 00:13:09.888
Absolutely Prepare for the meeting.
00:13:10.610 --> 00:13:11.011
Go in.
00:13:11.465 --> 00:13:18.251
Super intentional in the meeting focused and then process after the meeting Write notes afterwards yeah, and then we talk about it on here.
00:13:18.251 --> 00:13:22.292
Yeah, and it's like about it, it's like four therapy sessions in one.
00:13:22.292 --> 00:13:24.610
And then anything that comes up, I read books about it.
00:13:24.610 --> 00:13:26.855
Yeah, so I've been extremely intentional.
00:13:26.855 --> 00:13:29.171
So this the process for me, right?
00:13:29.171 --> 00:13:39.693
Yeah, and everyone's probably a little different, obviously, there's probably some commonalities, but the process for me so I've, I've, I've ran these reps of.
00:13:39.693 --> 00:13:42.480
Here's how my brain works.
00:13:42.924 --> 00:13:45.633
You're understanding the mechanism more?
00:13:45.633 --> 00:13:52.373
Yes, and when you and understanding the mechanism, you can thwart some of the default reactions.
00:13:52.914 --> 00:13:57.969
Yeah, and I can go through the process of quote therapy in my head on my own.
00:13:57.969 --> 00:14:00.470
Yeah, when something comes up, I don't.
00:14:00.470 --> 00:14:05.232
Now it's not like, oh my gosh, I have to call my therapist and we have to.
00:14:05.232 --> 00:14:10.466
She's got to work through this with me, right, I don't?
00:14:10.466 --> 00:14:11.190
You have tools?
00:14:11.190 --> 00:14:12.787
Yeah, I have tools, it's.
00:14:12.787 --> 00:14:26.326
I was able to sit down and say, well, first thing I was able to do, which now this is like the steps in receiving information you know, apply them to yourself if you want this.
00:14:26.326 --> 00:14:40.903
First, I was able to just say oh, I'm not going to logically start trying to analyze this, I'm just going to give it 24 hours and just facts, or facts?
00:14:40.903 --> 00:14:45.033
Let me emotionally respond to it personally.
00:14:45.495 --> 00:14:49.029
Yeah, let me just see what, instead of doing a reaction or email immediately?
00:14:49.029 --> 00:14:50.794
Exactly how could you possibly?
00:14:50.934 --> 00:14:51.716
Yeah, any of that.
00:14:51.884 --> 00:14:52.748
Why was this going on?
00:14:52.748 --> 00:14:53.991
Yeah, yeah.
00:14:54.764 --> 00:14:56.860
So first it's just like okay, noted.
00:14:56.860 --> 00:14:57.686
And.
00:14:57.686 --> 00:14:58.047
I didn't.
00:14:58.467 --> 00:15:07.347
You don't avoid either right, right, that's it doesn't text you for a week, so just reply and say, great, I'm going to think about this for a day and then we'll figure it out.
00:15:07.347 --> 00:15:22.950
So then, for me personally, that's given myself a day to not jump into decision making, you know a decision making stance, just to kind of allow myself and then feeling.
00:15:22.950 --> 00:15:41.091
What's been really cool is just feeling the emotions in the body and then the mind going okay, cool, what programmer we're going to use to analyze these emotions and then, instead of grabbing the old programs, which are just to apply a bunch of negativity to it, apply the new programs, which is okay, cool.
00:15:41.091 --> 00:15:42.446
What are you?
00:15:42.446 --> 00:15:44.714
What's the word attached to the feeling?
00:15:44.714 --> 00:15:47.730
What age do you feel, which I love it with my therapy?
00:15:47.730 --> 00:15:49.669
My therapist asked that question.
00:15:49.669 --> 00:15:52.412
I'm like I feel this and she's like what?
00:15:52.412 --> 00:15:53.335
How old are you?
00:15:54.225 --> 00:15:55.368
Yeah, what age do you feel this?
00:15:55.368 --> 00:15:56.770
Yeah, I've never done that.
00:15:56.770 --> 00:15:57.913
It's wild.
00:15:58.053 --> 00:16:04.754
Yeah, if you really think about it, then you'll go to that age and you'll go to a memory of being that.
00:16:04.754 --> 00:16:08.230
So then I'm like, okay, cool, what does that age feel like?
00:16:08.230 --> 00:16:13.354
You know, five, 12, whatever, or now you know.
00:16:13.354 --> 00:16:17.591
And then it's like, okay, cool, what is it, you know?
00:16:17.591 --> 00:16:25.554
Disappointment, frustration, fear, whatever those core things, fear against your basic need safety provision, shelter.
00:16:25.554 --> 00:16:35.964
Fear against or frustration against our Second need or whatever need, which is our ego, desire to be respected, all that kind of stuff.
00:16:35.964 --> 00:16:41.155
And and then say, okay, cool, and then not judge it, but to accept it.
00:16:41.155 --> 00:16:42.418
It's okay to feel that way.
00:16:42.418 --> 00:16:49.654
Process through it Mm-hmm Kind of for me so far it's been spent some time in that space.
00:16:49.654 --> 00:16:55.875
It's okay, just kind of read it's okay, reinforcing that yeah like it's okay to feel that way.
00:16:56.807 --> 00:16:58.052
Go to sleep, wake up.
00:16:58.052 --> 00:16:59.298
It's okay to feel that way.
00:16:59.298 --> 00:17:13.144
And then what I found myself next is Well, how does this relate to me personally, how does it relate to now and how does it relate to what I really want to give this world, that I feel like I have?
00:17:13.144 --> 00:17:13.887
Mm-hmm.
00:17:14.269 --> 00:17:29.305
So this morning I was in my head and Drop and guss off at school and I was just like as a visionary, I my mind goes to these details and and I quickly end up in these this is what this could be.
00:17:29.305 --> 00:17:36.137
Mm-hmm, right, not like pie in the sky, but, like you know me, like, yeah, all of the mechanics associated with it.
00:17:36.137 --> 00:17:36.659
Mm-hmm.
00:17:37.526 --> 00:17:55.675
So when I really was, when I came to a place to truly articulate the emotion for me personally, is in this concept of in material Mm-hmm, in the physical, like understanding that the physical is.
00:17:55.675 --> 00:18:00.329
You know, quantum physics suggests there is no, there is no hard matter.
00:18:00.329 --> 00:18:06.007
Everything is frequency, everything is waves, yeah, everything actually is movement, mm-hmm.
00:18:06.007 --> 00:18:31.744
So if we look beyond just the material and and for me asking, in the, in the concept of this whole construct, mm-hmm, I have in my mind Created what seems to be Something that could be really special, and it's not just any particular thing, it's the way my brain works, mm-hmm, right.
00:18:31.744 --> 00:18:40.576
And I think a lot of us, because a lot of us are creative, we see what could be Right, whether that's, we see what our kids could be, we see what our friends.
00:18:41.346 --> 00:18:48.230
We see what we could do, right, that's just kind of how we operate, yeah, but for me personally it was like Well, what I do with that now?
00:18:49.685 --> 00:18:50.429
Where does that go?
00:18:51.566 --> 00:19:04.652
Seeing the potential yeah, so I think for me, what I found and discovered as of this morning Is the negative Pain.
00:19:04.652 --> 00:19:14.651
Is I feel like I can contribute more value to the world that I'm currently giving?
00:19:15.334 --> 00:19:48.002
Yeah, it's not enough right and I feel like, when some of these things come up, or even in our podcast, sometimes it's like I Feel like we're being so transparent and honest and just Loosely sharing our Truths, truths and transformation, and it and sometimes and again negative, positive, whatever.
00:19:48.002 --> 00:19:53.678
Sometimes I'm like wouldn't that benefit more people than the 15 or 20 people that download the podcast?
00:19:53.678 --> 00:19:55.817
You know what I mean.
00:19:57.125 --> 00:20:01.641
Yeah and then it, and then it just really falls back to is this giving us value?
00:20:01.641 --> 00:20:03.808
And if it is, we'll keep doing it, and if it's not, we'll stop.
00:20:03.808 --> 00:20:07.472
Yeah, because that's all we can control.
00:20:07.472 --> 00:20:25.818
Yeah, but the letdown for me as I cool as I was able to attack, articulate it this morning was I Feel like I have more to give, that is being received, of the entire construct of the life that I live.
00:20:25.818 --> 00:20:27.125
Now.
00:20:27.125 --> 00:20:40.632
Whether that's true or not, it doesn't matter, mm-hmm, because right now I'm just able to articulate why I'm Not let down.
00:20:40.632 --> 00:20:42.704
But what's the word?
00:20:42.704 --> 00:20:46.056
Disappointed, disappointed?
00:20:46.056 --> 00:20:52.115
So now, today, tomorrow, I'll figure out what to do with that.
00:20:52.115 --> 00:20:57.351
But that's where I'm at yeah.
00:20:58.247 --> 00:21:01.224
So what's funny and what's great about all this is in this introspective.
00:21:01.224 --> 00:21:03.871
It has nothing to do with anyone or anything externally.
00:21:03.871 --> 00:21:14.135
This is all me processing, taking, allowing an external material yeah right.
00:21:14.135 --> 00:21:14.737
Mm-hmm.
00:21:15.976 --> 00:21:16.884
And this makes sense to us.
00:21:16.884 --> 00:21:25.984
I don't know if it does the listener, because we're, you know, going through this whole material world, spiritual world thing, but, like quantum physics thing, I'm just throwing out some words out there.
00:21:25.984 --> 00:21:34.777
So if you, if you stick, if any of them are sticky for you in listening to this but it has nothing to do with the material, it has absolutely nothing.
00:21:34.777 --> 00:21:41.105
What's cool about the process is realizing it's all internal and doing the introspective work is I can make it.
00:21:41.105 --> 00:21:46.136
I can take any circumstance and apply it to how I want to grow as an individual.
00:21:46.886 --> 00:21:47.891
You taking your power back.
00:21:48.311 --> 00:22:00.577
Yeah, because, regardless of what's happened externally, whether right you this thing, this project, whether it's the podcast, whether it's a project with somebody, you are not an effect of outside circumstances.
00:22:00.577 --> 00:22:03.210
In this moment.
00:22:03.210 --> 00:22:05.891
I'll say you're less of effect.
00:22:05.891 --> 00:22:27.251
I'm choosing to take in particular external event right and using that event to evoke the emotions, to process the emotions, to Use that as a moment to better understand myself right Instead of completely reactionary.
00:22:27.573 --> 00:22:29.440
Yeah, or completely staying in the material.
00:22:29.440 --> 00:22:30.805
Well, what should I do?
00:22:30.805 --> 00:22:31.567
What are we gonna do?
00:22:31.567 --> 00:22:32.147
How?
00:22:32.147 --> 00:22:34.193
What's the next iteration, what's the next phase?
00:22:34.193 --> 00:22:35.517
You know what I'm saying?
00:22:35.517 --> 00:22:50.186
So, and I don't know if that's the right thing to do, I don't really know, but that's what I'm choosing to do right now because obviously there still is the material, there still is the thing, but there's.
00:22:50.186 --> 00:23:06.933
For me you know, I'm an entrepreneur, I got a lot of ideas there's always gonna be a thing, always, always always, always, always and as I'm Really sinking into this idea of curious and creative, With no boundaries for the rest of my life.
00:23:07.645 --> 00:23:15.392
Then there's even more, then there's even more, than it never ends yeah so that's how I'm I.
00:23:17.566 --> 00:23:17.846
Like it.
00:23:17.846 --> 00:23:20.935
We were talking about this yesterday, but it's a little bit of.
00:23:20.935 --> 00:23:30.058
My teacher calls it the analyzer, but it's a little bit of stepping out of the analyzer, so much.
00:23:30.058 --> 00:23:34.153
Hmm, because the anal, your brain, your brain, right.
00:23:34.153 --> 00:23:36.846
The analyzer has Baggage.
00:23:36.846 --> 00:23:38.248
It has the.
00:23:38.248 --> 00:24:00.674
It's easy to be scripted and programmed, yeah, and you have the amygdala with the fear response yeah, and so it's moving out of that and going more into the intuition based type living, not saying that's easy, yeah, the goal right, at least, at least we got a goal.
00:24:00.674 --> 00:24:08.049
But yeah, and even understanding that there's, there's a difference, yeah, in this whole thing.
00:24:08.049 --> 00:24:13.096
Because the brain I'm not I'm not ripping on the brain, yeah, but it has some.
00:24:13.096 --> 00:24:28.817
It has some things that make it Uh irritating sometimes, like the amygdala, the flight or flight, all this that just makes you sit there and worry and sesame about is it gonna work?
00:24:28.817 --> 00:24:29.720
What should I do next?
00:24:29.901 --> 00:24:43.059
How is this gonna yada yada, yada and and then when you, when you breathe, you know the right way and you slip out of that into the parasympathetic nerve and then all that melts away.
00:24:43.059 --> 00:24:51.009
No, and then you start to operate from a more Calm state and you're not completely stuck in the analyzer.
00:24:51.009 --> 00:24:55.241
Yeah, so that's part of it.
00:24:55.241 --> 00:25:01.173
Yeah, and it's not something that you just do overnight like, hey, I'm done with the analyzer.
00:25:01.173 --> 00:25:06.710
So anyway, yeah, stepping into that a little bit, but yeah, what's a good point?
00:25:06.750 --> 00:25:15.229
We were talking yesterday and I learned this from another expert and a very different methodology that I went to this week.
00:25:15.229 --> 00:25:21.471
It was pretty cool, but she said a phrase and I was just like it just punched me in the face because it was so good.
00:25:21.471 --> 00:25:26.605
She's like, well, yeah, the subconscious doesn't even see the world.
00:25:26.605 --> 00:25:31.265
It's inside the brain like, it's inside the like, it's an aware of time.
00:25:31.265 --> 00:25:41.553
Time doesn't exist to the subconscious, there's no such thing as time, and that's why you can fear a terrorist attack and have the anxiety right now, in the moment.
00:25:41.701 --> 00:25:43.720
Yeah if that terrorist attack is happening, yeah.
00:25:43.921 --> 00:25:49.903
If your neighbor's house got broken into and you imagine someone breaking into your house while you're lying in bed at night, your heart rate goes up.
00:25:49.982 --> 00:25:53.391
Yeah, you know your brain, You're not really thinks someone is breaking in.
00:25:53.451 --> 00:25:56.025
You're not running, yeah, you're just laying in bed.
00:25:56.025 --> 00:26:01.731
Yeah how does that, how does a physiologic Corresponds like that happen, which is crazy and your adrenaline spikes.
00:26:01.731 --> 00:26:02.333
I've done it.
00:26:02.333 --> 00:26:04.650
We've all sat there and thought about you know, your camping.
00:26:04.650 --> 00:26:06.900
You think about the, the murderer the murder.
00:26:06.900 --> 00:26:12.333
I would do the tent 20 times realize what's going on big foot or whatever your thing is that you think about when you?
00:26:13.061 --> 00:26:17.063
know just the serial killer and Definitely white, of course.
00:26:17.063 --> 00:26:25.400
But, um, yeah, so to your point, the analyzer is attached to that amygdala.
00:26:25.400 --> 00:26:31.913
Yeah, so then the second you start analyzing all of the then your subconscious doesn't know time or space like that.
00:26:32.800 --> 00:26:34.224
For all it knows it's happening right now.
00:26:34.224 --> 00:26:37.332
Yeah, so it feels real and then bam fear state.
00:26:37.332 --> 00:26:39.263
It's pretty amazing.
00:26:39.263 --> 00:26:41.450
Yeah but also irritating.
00:26:41.450 --> 00:26:44.346
Well, it's something to understand.
00:26:44.606 --> 00:27:13.863
Yeah, and the first step, like you said, the first step is just even acknowledging it and I feel like for me, as a 41 year old, after 12 month, 13, 14 months of intense work, for the first time, for the first time ever, I Was able to they were, I didn't pick them apart, they were apart and then I was able to, with intuition, with I Don't know what, not the fear state.
00:27:13.863 --> 00:27:15.066
Yeah, I was able to.
00:27:15.066 --> 00:27:21.226
The emotions were over here and the ability to choose what program I was going to run to process the emotions.
00:27:21.546 --> 00:27:29.631
I literally it was like three different components were happening in my whole, being the emotions which came from the body, the gut and the chest.
00:27:29.631 --> 00:27:35.353
Mm-hmm, and then my logical brain was literally said what program do you want to run?
00:27:35.353 --> 00:27:52.090
Literally said that, mm-hmm, and then I got to pick the program and then I got to apply the program to the emotions and after 41 years of living, breathing in this lifetime and 14 months of and I've on, I'm on session 39 of therapy.
00:27:52.090 --> 00:28:02.943
I've done a umdr sessions, I've done Psychedelic psycho, psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.
00:28:02.943 --> 00:28:04.286
I've done breath work.
00:28:04.286 --> 00:28:08.153
I've done some neurological work.
00:28:08.153 --> 00:28:16.208
After all that, yeah, I was able to and I didn't try to do it.
00:28:16.407 --> 00:28:18.433
Yeah, it wasn't like I wasn't the goal for the week.
00:28:18.654 --> 00:28:22.386
Yeah, I didn't get news and been like, okay, cool, okay, okay, this is how I'm gonna do this.
00:28:22.386 --> 00:28:26.344
It was literally just like that was that's how it operated.
00:28:26.344 --> 00:28:28.929
Yeah, which is I even?
00:28:28.929 --> 00:28:33.965
As it was happening, I was just like, oh Wow, thank you, thank you self.
00:28:33.965 --> 00:28:35.471
I think this is cool.
00:28:35.471 --> 00:28:38.118
It was good acknowledgement, too for all the work.
00:28:38.118 --> 00:28:48.643
Yeah, you know, yeah, because if you do all this and then all of a sudden something happens and you're just in a fear state and you think you're a piece of and you're worthless, it's just like Well, what was that?
00:28:48.663 --> 00:28:49.326
What have I been doing?
00:28:49.326 --> 00:28:52.063
What am I doing with myself?
00:28:52.063 --> 00:28:55.871
You know what have I been doing for, you know, 14 months.
00:28:56.211 --> 00:28:57.554
Yeah, it's a lot of money.
00:28:59.863 --> 00:29:00.305
So anyway.
00:29:00.305 --> 00:29:02.016
So, yeah, that's great bro.
00:29:02.016 --> 00:29:02.579
Yeah, it's cool.
00:29:02.579 --> 00:29:12.625
I'm also not not in the way you described it, but intentionally trying to operate less from the analyzer.
00:29:12.625 --> 00:29:14.710
Yeah, as I call it.
00:29:14.710 --> 00:29:21.375
Yeah, the brain, because of you know, because you can get stuck in those loops.
00:29:21.375 --> 00:29:24.503
Yeah, of the fud, I call it fud.
00:29:24.503 --> 00:29:33.122
The fear, uncertainty and doubt the fud loops so operating less from the, from the brain, and more from Wholeness.
00:29:33.122 --> 00:29:39.386
Being this Ground, whatever the, whatever the hell, you, whatever your term is, yeah, soul spirit, I don't really care.
00:29:39.868 --> 00:29:41.958
I don't like, I don't like to get bogged down with syntax.
00:29:42.179 --> 00:29:42.299
Yeah.
00:29:43.184 --> 00:29:43.929
I don't see the point.
00:29:44.069 --> 00:29:51.940
Yeah, we're all trying to do the same, right, yeah, so I think by far the majority of human beings don't want to live in a fear state where they feel like they're gonna die.
00:29:51.940 --> 00:29:52.903
Right, do you?
00:29:52.942 --> 00:29:53.625
want more options.
00:29:53.625 --> 00:29:54.528
Do you want less options?
00:29:55.109 --> 00:29:55.290
Yeah.
00:29:56.161 --> 00:29:57.845
Do you want to feel more freedom or less freedom?
00:29:57.845 --> 00:29:58.566
Yeah, okay.
00:29:58.727 --> 00:30:00.510
Yeah, we're all trying to do the same thing here.
00:30:00.510 --> 00:30:01.653
Yeah, you know.
00:30:03.141 --> 00:30:05.387
Everyone wants love yeah, unconditioned.
00:30:05.387 --> 00:30:12.640
Everyone wants to feel like they have an option yeah, more options, yeah, and less constraints boom, okay.
00:30:12.640 --> 00:30:16.932
So, yeah, less trying to get out of the brain as much and get into the.
00:30:18.461 --> 00:30:24.554
Yeah, if you're trying, if you're stuck on what term to use to get out of the analyzer, you might be operating it within the analyzer.
00:30:26.441 --> 00:30:33.303
Well, and that's a, that's a program, because I mean same thing with you know who is.
00:30:33.303 --> 00:30:37.396
When people talk about, all paths end up pretty much leading, yeah, to the same place.
00:30:37.396 --> 00:30:45.318
Like you know, you can see like scientists they become, like they believe in God after 30, 40 years, yeah, and you're like, how does that work?
00:30:45.559 --> 00:30:49.102
Yeah and then people who are Whatever.
00:30:49.102 --> 00:30:57.787
Maybe they worked in a Hospice, yeah, you know, but you're just doing something intentionally for years and years.
00:30:57.787 --> 00:31:02.365
You kind of notice that a lot of times people end up Towards a similar conclusion.
00:31:02.365 --> 00:31:08.180
Yeah, so is there a wrong or right path?
00:31:10.727 --> 00:31:14.676
I mean, considering there's infinite possibilities.
00:31:14.676 --> 00:31:16.508
How could there only be one path?
00:31:16.508 --> 00:31:25.734
Yeah, I don't know, so anyway, and how someone arrives at feeling, that's more of a feeling yeah, but yeah.
00:31:25.734 --> 00:31:29.109
I mean it's tragic.
00:31:29.109 --> 00:31:38.971
I was watching the show last night and the kid, it's really weird because one of the main characters, his name is Gus and he's non-verbal.
00:31:38.971 --> 00:31:42.890
I didn't watch it because of that, I just thought that was pretty strange.
00:31:42.890 --> 00:31:45.270
You know, they say you start seeing more patterns.
00:31:45.704 --> 00:31:48.654
Yeah, you seeing some patterns, seeing some patterns.
00:31:48.654 --> 00:31:49.930
I tell you what pattern I'm seeing.
00:31:49.930 --> 00:31:52.452
I see more forerunners on the road now that I own one.
00:31:54.285 --> 00:31:54.787
You know what I'll.
00:31:54.787 --> 00:31:55.569
You know what pattern.
00:31:55.569 --> 00:31:59.444
Next episode we're going to talk about manifestation cause.
00:31:59.444 --> 00:32:03.371
I actually love that subject, yeah, and I love being cheeky about the subject too.
00:32:03.371 --> 00:32:08.616
So but you know what I want to quote manifest.
00:32:08.785 --> 00:32:09.808
What you manifest in bro.
00:32:11.184 --> 00:32:21.811
Once we get the runners wrapped and we keep developing engaging content on forerunner gunner, all those forerunners are like we get the forerunner gunner wave.
00:32:23.585 --> 00:32:26.303
That's what I'm saying have you been doing it?
00:32:26.303 --> 00:32:27.247
Have you been doing it to others?
00:32:28.148 --> 00:32:29.393
No, I guess I gotta start.
00:32:29.393 --> 00:32:30.355
Good challenge.
00:32:30.355 --> 00:32:35.134
I just feel like motorcycle culture is cool.
00:32:35.484 --> 00:32:36.508
Yeah, that they all wave at each other.
00:32:36.508 --> 00:32:37.309
Yeah, that's cool.
00:32:37.309 --> 00:32:38.673
They have an understanding, they do.
00:32:38.673 --> 00:32:43.275
So then the forerunner culture, or forerunner culture, yeah, toyota.
00:32:44.365 --> 00:32:56.815
But then there's Jeep culture and Jeeps wave at each other, but I think the forerunner culture doesn't wave at each other in despite what's the word.
00:32:56.815 --> 00:33:05.730
And to yeah, whatever that word is Because Jeep culture does that.
00:33:05.730 --> 00:33:07.929
So I think forerunners don't do it Because they're too cool.
00:33:07.929 --> 00:33:10.836
They're too cool, but I don't know.
00:33:10.836 --> 00:33:17.147
I don't know I'm still new to the whole like being snobby in a subculture Because I've always been.
00:33:17.147 --> 00:33:20.653
I've always blended subcultures in my whole life.
00:33:21.054 --> 00:33:25.689
Yeah, the whole Jeep and Toyota thing is pretty funny, yeah, but I gotta be honest with you.
00:33:27.066 --> 00:33:29.713
I really want to ask this question what's that To me?
00:33:29.713 --> 00:33:31.297
What is the point of the ducks?
00:33:32.105 --> 00:33:35.030
I don't know, I haven't, I haven't understood that yet.
00:33:35.785 --> 00:33:44.051
Cause it seems kinda and maybe this is me being a snobby Toyota guy it seems kinda cheesy, Cheesy.
00:33:44.634 --> 00:33:45.415
Yeah, that's the nicest word.
00:33:45.415 --> 00:33:48.493
That's the nicest way you can put it right now on this episode.
00:33:48.744 --> 00:33:50.780
But maybe I just don't understand it.
00:33:50.801 --> 00:33:51.064
I don't know.
00:33:51.064 --> 00:33:51.665
We should.
00:33:51.665 --> 00:33:53.510
We should figure out the where it started.
00:33:53.510 --> 00:33:54.333
How did it start?
00:33:54.333 --> 00:33:54.773
What is it?
00:33:54.773 --> 00:33:55.675
What does it represent?
00:33:55.675 --> 00:33:56.506
What is the?
00:33:56.526 --> 00:33:57.249
point.
00:33:57.249 --> 00:33:57.851
We'll look that up.
00:33:57.851 --> 00:34:12.190
Anyway, in conclusion, yeah, this morning I asked myself, I was like I'm starting to see some clarity on what I would like to pursue pretty heavy.
00:34:12.190 --> 00:34:15.222
Yeah, I'm taking action to do it.
00:34:15.222 --> 00:34:23.030
You know, in in this life, I think when we talked about purpose it's funny I brought up a point but I didn't conclude the main point.
00:34:23.030 --> 00:34:27.929
I went back and listened to the episode and I was like man, I went on a rant and I didn't even conclude the rant, so it just sounded like a stupid rant.
00:34:27.929 --> 00:34:37.047
But we're talking about purpose and I believe that there's no, there's no one thing that you're supposed to do in this world and you better find it or you waste your life.
00:34:37.047 --> 00:34:38.213
Yeah, of course not.
00:34:38.344 --> 00:34:43.592
I don't believe that, and I brought up the analogy of a girlfriend it's like, or a wife or a significant other.
00:34:43.592 --> 00:34:46.088
I was like I don't think there's one soulmate in this world.
00:34:46.088 --> 00:34:47.365
But I was.
00:34:47.365 --> 00:34:49.072
I failed to tie that back to purpose.
00:34:49.072 --> 00:34:56.632
So I don't think there's just one soulmate in this world out of eight billion people and you gotta go find that person or you know the rest of your life's gonna be miserable.
00:34:56.632 --> 00:34:58.431
I don't think there's one thing.
00:34:58.431 --> 00:35:00.251
I think, to your point, there's options.
00:35:00.251 --> 00:35:00.606
We can.
00:35:00.606 --> 00:35:04.853
Once we understand who we are, we can do whatever right.
00:35:05.545 --> 00:35:10.452
As long as we reflect on conditional love and gratitude, yeah this is stepping.
00:35:11.184 --> 00:35:14.414
That is stepping into more of the why you're doing it than the what you're doing.
00:35:14.724 --> 00:35:15.869
Yeah, yeah.
00:35:16.144 --> 00:35:16.867
You wanna help people?
00:35:16.867 --> 00:35:18.208
Cool, there's a billion ways.
00:35:18.208 --> 00:35:19.052
Yeah.
00:35:19.052 --> 00:35:21.592
You know, find one that you like.
00:35:21.592 --> 00:35:24.173
There's probably 10, there's probably a thousand ways you like doing it.
00:35:24.173 --> 00:35:24.525
Yeah.
00:35:24.525 --> 00:35:26.489
And being creative.
00:35:27.085 --> 00:35:28.030
Yeah, you wanna be creative.
00:35:28.030 --> 00:35:29.188
There's a million ways to do that.
00:35:29.188 --> 00:35:29.690
Yeah.
00:35:29.690 --> 00:35:31.871
So I'm starting to see that.
00:35:31.871 --> 00:35:44.409
But so, as I kinda go through this process, over the past year, when I sold out of the last company, I just started doing stuff, a lot of stuff, cause that's natural for me, yeah.
00:35:44.409 --> 00:35:57.329
So now, really, the transition that I've, I'll say, been forced to go through but I allowed myself to be forced to go through- you yeah, Is now to your point.
00:35:57.329 --> 00:35:59.376
Why am I doing all these things?
00:35:59.605 --> 00:36:04.088
Yeah, stepping into the why, and then when you really ask yourself that a lot changed right.
00:36:05.465 --> 00:36:06.510
Everything has changed.
00:36:06.510 --> 00:36:12.177
Everything, yeah, everything.
00:36:12.177 --> 00:36:38.972
So what's cool is now seeing that the material world, driven by the material world, going into an a ton of internal work and then coming back to the material world and it may look the same, but my presence and groundedness and my point of view yeah, your viewpoint changed Is absolutely radically different.
00:36:38.972 --> 00:36:45.329
So as I now look at, okay, cool, what do I wanna do?
00:36:45.329 --> 00:36:55.894
It's not out of a program of I need to prove my value, I need them to see my value, all that kind of stuff.
00:36:55.894 --> 00:36:57.811
It's just more like, what do I wanna do?
00:36:57.811 --> 00:36:59.891
Like, it's just that simple.
00:36:59.891 --> 00:37:06.556
And then what, within this time period of this world?
00:37:06.724 --> 00:37:08.692
and the tools we have and the resources we have.
00:37:08.692 --> 00:37:13.731
What's that gonna look like, but anyway, so yeah.
00:37:16.976 --> 00:37:19.329
Cool, I think that's it.
00:37:19.811 --> 00:37:20.192
That's it.
00:37:20.192 --> 00:37:20.753
That's all I got.
00:37:20.753 --> 00:37:21.965
I like it.
00:37:22.965 --> 00:37:27.775
Higher viewpoints and less analyzing and more intuition.
00:37:28.096 --> 00:37:31.090
Yeah, and just keep doing the work.
00:37:31.090 --> 00:37:34.487
For me, it's just keep doing the work, just getting started.
00:37:34.487 --> 00:37:35.226
Yeah.
00:37:36.724 --> 00:37:42.771
I think as much as you can accomplish in life, it's pretty heavily determined on how much you're willing to work on yourself.
00:37:42.771 --> 00:37:43.333
Yeah.
00:37:44.666 --> 00:37:44.907
Yeah.
00:37:44.907 --> 00:37:51.452
You know, If the ability to be curious and creative are absolutely endless and has no bounds.
00:37:51.452 --> 00:37:57.072
Yeah, for me, my motivation is to keep doing the inner work.
00:37:57.552 --> 00:38:00.228
Yeah, so I can See the possibilities more clearly.
00:38:00.228 --> 00:38:00.708
Yeah.
00:38:00.708 --> 00:38:02.914
Yeah.
00:38:02.914 --> 00:38:03.726
Cause.
00:38:03.726 --> 00:38:10.855
If there's one thing that FUD the fear, uncertainty in del du is, it narrows your ability to see the possibilities.
00:38:10.855 --> 00:38:11.536
Yeah.
00:38:11.536 --> 00:38:13.007
It gives you that tunnel vision.
00:38:13.309 --> 00:38:13.690
Yeah.
00:38:14.326 --> 00:38:17.105
And it makes you feel like you have less options.
00:38:17.105 --> 00:38:24.472
There's a terrible feeling, yeah, so I'd like to reduce that as much as possible, yeah.
00:38:25.954 --> 00:38:26.416
That's good.
00:38:26.416 --> 00:38:27.938
So there we go.
00:38:27.938 --> 00:38:28.405
Same thing else.
00:00:00.653 --> 00:00:00.979
Good morning.
00:00:00.979 --> 00:00:02.504
Good morning, sir.
00:00:02.504 --> 00:00:05.838
This is episode 105.
00:00:06.120 --> 00:00:07.264
105,.
00:00:07.325 --> 00:00:10.628
I think yeah, it's February of 2024.
00:00:10.628 --> 00:00:25.911
We're going to hit just an interesting development in my the way in which I process new information.
00:00:25.911 --> 00:00:26.763
Okay.
00:00:26.923 --> 00:00:28.740
I like that Before we start.
00:00:28.740 --> 00:00:30.704
I'm Jonathan Noel and I'm Brian Noel.
00:00:30.725 --> 00:00:36.878
This is the Focus Cast, where we help you reduce distractions, increase focus so you can live a life with Intention, intention.
00:00:37.539 --> 00:00:38.000
Be intentional.
00:00:38.000 --> 00:00:40.006
Be intentional with your intentions.
00:00:40.006 --> 00:00:40.448
Yeah.
00:00:40.448 --> 00:00:42.526
What if you have unintentional intentions?
00:00:43.280 --> 00:00:52.429
That's our subconscious and I think that drives the majority of most people's life, pretty much yeah, so we'll just jump right in.
00:00:52.429 --> 00:00:53.212
Why not yeah?
00:00:53.212 --> 00:00:55.804
Because then we're meeting someone for lunch, okay.
00:00:55.804 --> 00:01:18.972
So okay, in articulating how I approach new information now versus, say, a year ago, and why that's significant, is because I've been intentional about learning how to.
00:01:18.972 --> 00:01:25.364
I don't even know how to articulate it, but just being more grounded.
00:01:25.926 --> 00:01:26.106
Yeah.
00:01:27.361 --> 00:01:28.885
But that's been the goal.
00:01:28.986 --> 00:01:29.629
A little context.
00:01:29.629 --> 00:01:33.789
You had this association for most of your life, most of my life, whatever.
00:01:35.561 --> 00:01:36.382
So I started.
00:01:36.382 --> 00:01:41.260
For some of our followers who listened to everything, you know this.
00:01:41.260 --> 00:01:47.585
But in quick summary, I started therapy just because I wanted to clear mine and I wanted to remember some of my childhood.
00:01:48.066 --> 00:01:51.757
Yeah, you had a big gap, or you didn't remember anything?
00:01:51.778 --> 00:02:08.746
Yeah, and then that was typical therapy EMDR doing some stuff, breaking new territory, clearing trauma, peeling the onion Right, and then it got to the core Right and then it started getting crazy.
00:02:10.219 --> 00:02:12.947
Then you started looking at how you do everything differently.
00:02:13.468 --> 00:02:18.000
Yeah, yeah, then we'll use some different.
00:02:18.402 --> 00:02:20.294
The next phase of work starts, yeah.
00:02:21.420 --> 00:02:23.947
Different phrasing for different people in different belief systems.
00:02:23.947 --> 00:02:25.270
False self, true self.
00:02:25.270 --> 00:02:27.466
I broke past the default network.
00:02:27.466 --> 00:02:29.144
I broke past the ego.
00:02:29.144 --> 00:02:39.068
Access to the soul beyond just the mind, Whatever you want to say yeah, insert yeah.
00:02:40.080 --> 00:02:43.426
What I realized is most of everything is all talking about the same thing.
00:02:43.586 --> 00:02:43.828
Yeah.
00:02:44.187 --> 00:02:44.830
The same feeling.
00:02:45.129 --> 00:02:57.490
Yeah Well, and if there's one thing that I have learned in all of this work, is that getting all flustered about you using the right term or the wrong term.
00:02:57.490 --> 00:02:58.973
I don't do that anymore.
00:02:59.622 --> 00:03:00.545
Well, isn't that something?
00:03:02.906 --> 00:03:03.448
Isn't that great.
00:03:03.448 --> 00:03:07.135
Yeah, I mean, language is not an absolute.
00:03:07.135 --> 00:03:17.847
No, language is just the way in which we try to describe what the is going on in this world, all of us are feeling the same thing, just explaining it in different ways.
00:03:17.986 --> 00:03:21.252
Yeah, yeah, so, okay, cool.
00:03:21.252 --> 00:03:24.146
So here's the situation or here's the scenario.
00:03:24.146 --> 00:03:30.610
So the very specific work is reprogramming.
00:03:30.610 --> 00:03:44.081
We've talked about inter-narrative, we've talked about inter-critic, we've talked about the manager, the manager in the internal family systems and how the manager tells you what to do every day.
00:03:44.081 --> 00:03:47.788
We've talked about introspective work.
00:03:47.788 --> 00:03:49.805
So we've talked around this.
00:03:49.805 --> 00:04:07.774
But the past two and a half months, really since November, since I broke through the surface or got to some of the core, is reprogramming.
00:04:09.633 --> 00:04:21.572
Yeah, so for me, some of the programs, some of the scripts I talked about this, I think, in episode 101, but you're cursed, you're a failure, all those kind of programs that are subconscious.
00:04:21.572 --> 00:04:27.463
I wasn't like a depressed, sad person that every time you talk to me I was just like, oh, I'm such a loser.
00:04:27.463 --> 00:04:39.509
It was more like I'm a very optimistic person but deep inside I didn't believe it, because it was a program run into my subconscious that I was cursed.
00:04:39.509 --> 00:05:05.252
So now it's reprogramming and what's interesting from the delineation between just pure cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy change your behavior and then you'll slowly Versus what I feel like I've been doing, which is radical, deep soul work.
00:05:05.252 --> 00:05:18.107
So I don't feel like I'm just working in the prefrontal cortex and the amygdala, the thinking brain or the process, and emotional brain.
00:05:18.408 --> 00:05:19.189
You moved on to.
00:05:19.189 --> 00:05:22.509
It feels like the whole package yeah.
00:05:23.783 --> 00:05:25.468
Now again, that just may be what it feels like.
00:05:25.468 --> 00:05:26.088
I don't know.
00:05:26.088 --> 00:05:29.408
I'm not saying that's wrong or whatever.
00:05:29.408 --> 00:05:33.411
I'm not picking a side here but that's what it feels like to me.
00:05:33.411 --> 00:05:34.884
It feels like moving out of the brain.
00:05:34.884 --> 00:06:01.870
So in reprogramming also the work to this concept of radical non-judgment which we talked about, so the negative programs and the negative judgment, self-judgment, definitely control a lot of our thinking energy as human beings?
00:06:02.721 --> 00:06:04.759
Yeah, most definitely so.
00:06:04.759 --> 00:06:23.213
What's been fun about the work is to start to pull apart the emotional response to the environment and then to be able to run a new program free from judgment.
00:06:23.213 --> 00:06:25.362
Here's an example.
00:06:25.362 --> 00:06:30.846
So in being an entrepreneur, there's ups, there's downs.
00:06:30.846 --> 00:06:34.411
There's just part of the course.
00:06:34.411 --> 00:06:45.870
And what's been really interesting is, in the past couple of months, as I've been kind of catapulted because of a session I did on November 11th.
00:06:45.870 --> 00:07:02.600
I've been kind of catapulted into this like intense introspective work to challenge my entire default network, which is everything I know to be true.
00:07:02.600 --> 00:07:09.430
My default network, yeah, does On Venus, you know, like just these things.
00:07:09.430 --> 00:07:13.879
Like default network is like you can drive and think about something else at the same time.
00:07:14.526 --> 00:07:31.096
You know, it's as simple as that, but it says Complex is like if you grew up where you had a mom who got stressed out every holiday because everything had to be perfect, but she made it not perfect because she was so stressed out and she yelled at every everyone your default network is.
00:07:31.096 --> 00:07:32.798
That's the way holidays go.
00:07:33.286 --> 00:07:33.848
Right, right.
00:07:33.848 --> 00:07:37.326
Yeah, that's just you.
00:07:37.326 --> 00:07:38.127
That's all you've seen.
00:07:38.127 --> 00:07:39.350
Yeah, that's what you know.
00:07:39.350 --> 00:07:44.740
It's a reprogram, yeah, that oh, holidays aren't perfection, doesn't make.
00:07:45.466 --> 00:07:52.273
Joy, yeah, and the purpose of holiday is joy, right, so letting go, so anyway.
00:07:52.273 --> 00:07:57.130
So so before you know, I've, I've.
00:07:57.130 --> 00:08:05.435
I've tried things as an entrepreneur my whole life, you know, since we had a recording studio and I was in middle school, so I'm familiar with things working and things not working.
00:08:05.435 --> 00:08:07.182
Yeah that's nothing new there.
00:08:07.182 --> 00:08:07.925
Yeah, nothing new there.
00:08:07.925 --> 00:08:17.208
So in the past the program that would run when I hit a roadblock or Something came up Would to.
00:08:17.208 --> 00:08:21.476
The program would run that I told you so yeah, your failure.
00:08:22.526 --> 00:08:23.588
This was never gonna work.
00:08:23.588 --> 00:08:28.117
Yeah and stuff for you thinking all that, yeah, the usual suspects.
00:08:28.689 --> 00:08:45.993
So this is the first time in the history of my life that I know of mm-hmm where, in navigating these Just typical things, when I was hit with information, the negative program didn't run at all.
00:08:47.547 --> 00:08:51.932
You just Kind of zoomed out and looked at it.
00:08:52.333 --> 00:08:53.256
It's pretty interesting.
00:08:53.256 --> 00:09:07.916
I what I could see was clear separation between the emotional response and the programs, the scripts Running to analyze the emotional response.
00:09:07.916 --> 00:09:26.659
So what I saw for the first time was a clear delineation and detachment from that the Emotional response to the situation, and then what program I was able to apply to the emotion in response to the external event, mm-hmm.
00:09:26.659 --> 00:09:37.013
So I didn't experience a flash of emotion and Then the script told me what it was.
00:09:37.013 --> 00:10:03.753
00:10:04.153 --> 00:10:04.533
Is that not?
00:10:04.615 --> 00:10:04.995
insane.
00:10:04.995 --> 00:10:06.418
That's pretty amazing.
00:10:06.418 --> 00:10:12.657
So then the thinking brain I was able to say it's okay to feel disappointed.
00:10:12.657 --> 00:10:18.091
Yeah, Completely free from judgment right.
00:10:18.292 --> 00:10:22.184
That's way different than feeling like a failure and everything you do is cursed.
00:10:22.505 --> 00:10:26.234
Yeah, I was literally able to say I feel disappointed.
00:10:26.234 --> 00:10:28.038
And it's okay to feel disappointed.
00:10:28.038 --> 00:10:42.573
Yeah, it's okay to be cautious or now a bit Curious or nervous about you know.
00:10:42.573 --> 00:10:43.034
Okay, cool.
00:10:43.034 --> 00:10:43.957
Well, what's next?
00:10:43.957 --> 00:10:44.438
Mm-hmm.
00:10:44.980 --> 00:10:49.615
Yeah, and instead of it's like well, if it's okay to feel that way, I have a family, I have kids.
00:10:49.615 --> 00:10:52.029
You know I want to, I want to provide for them.
00:10:52.029 --> 00:11:03.374
You know I want to do all these things as a man and as a as a human, but instead of that, like typical, like you know, you're not gonna be able to provide for your family.
00:11:03.414 --> 00:11:04.538
Your friend is gonna think you're a.
00:11:04.538 --> 00:11:05.563
You know all that stuff.
00:11:05.604 --> 00:11:08.490
For me, letting down my family was one of the core fears.
00:11:08.490 --> 00:11:09.273
Mm-hmm.
00:11:09.273 --> 00:11:21.908
I actually, in a therapy session, visualized sitting at the table, having to Tell my family that I'm a failure and them realizing it.
00:11:23.385 --> 00:11:24.230
You did that in a session.
00:11:24.451 --> 00:11:29.735
Yeah, and that was like that's just what came up and and that produced one of the core fears.
00:11:30.357 --> 00:11:35.913
Yeah, I Think this one's pretty Common, yeah, cuz I have some too.
00:11:35.913 --> 00:11:43.309
Yeah you know it's like not wanting to fail Anyone that you care about.
00:11:43.309 --> 00:11:53.038
Yeah, of course, right, which, if you go to the bottom of that, I think that just ends that you don't want to fail the creator.
00:11:53.038 --> 00:11:53.698
Yeah.
00:11:55.407 --> 00:12:06.466
Yeah, or you have a construed version of the creator and yeah, doesn't matter.
00:12:06.527 --> 00:12:07.568
The point is it still sucks.
00:12:07.568 --> 00:12:10.033
Yeah when you feel like you failed, even if you didn't.
00:12:10.033 --> 00:12:12.357
Yeah, so that's a default.
00:12:12.357 --> 00:12:18.836
Whatever program script or Program script, whatever the hell you name, whatever name, it doesn't matter.
00:12:18.836 --> 00:12:23.277
Whatever you want to call it to work through, yeah we should start creating new words.
00:12:24.629 --> 00:12:25.398
What does that word mean?
00:12:25.398 --> 00:12:26.144
We just give it a meaning.
00:12:26.144 --> 00:12:35.011
But yeah, so it was actually, and all this is pretty recent for me, so it was.
00:12:35.011 --> 00:12:48.491
It's been really interesting to Actually be able to work through this in this way, you know, to be able to.
00:12:48.491 --> 00:12:51.427
It's almost like now that I've cause.
00:12:51.427 --> 00:12:52.672
Y'all have heard me say this before.
00:12:52.672 --> 00:12:53.847
Jonathan, you mentioned this before.
00:12:53.847 --> 00:12:57.232
So for me, in therapy, I'm not just going to therapy and about life.
00:12:57.232 --> 00:13:00.455
I prepare for what I want to get out of that session.
00:13:00.455 --> 00:13:08.091
This is the way I approach any any, whether it's a business mentor, whether it's my freaking CPA, You're squeezing as much out of it as you can.
00:13:08.091 --> 00:13:09.888
Absolutely Prepare for the meeting.
00:13:10.610 --> 00:13:11.011
Go in.
00:13:11.465 --> 00:13:18.251
Super intentional in the meeting focused and then process after the meeting Write notes afterwards yeah, and then we talk about it on here.
00:13:18.251 --> 00:13:22.292
Yeah, and it's like about it, it's like four therapy sessions in one.
00:13:22.292 --> 00:13:24.610
And then anything that comes up, I read books about it.
00:13:24.610 --> 00:13:26.855
Yeah, so I've been extremely intentional.
00:13:26.855 --> 00:13:29.171
So this the process for me, right?
00:13:29.171 --> 00:13:39.693
Yeah, and everyone's probably a little different, obviously, there's probably some commonalities, but the process for me so I've, I've, I've ran these reps of.
00:13:39.693 --> 00:13:42.480
Here's how my brain works.
00:13:42.924 --> 00:13:45.633
You're understanding the mechanism more?
00:13:45.633 --> 00:13:52.373
Yes, and when you and understanding the mechanism, you can thwart some of the default reactions.
00:13:52.914 --> 00:13:57.969
Yeah, and I can go through the process of quote therapy in my head on my own.
00:13:57.969 --> 00:14:00.470
Yeah, when something comes up, I don't.
00:14:00.470 --> 00:14:05.232
Now it's not like, oh my gosh, I have to call my therapist and we have to.
00:14:05.232 --> 00:14:10.466
She's got to work through this with me, right, I don't?
00:14:10.466 --> 00:14:11.190
You have tools?
00:14:11.190 --> 00:14:12.787
Yeah, I have tools, it's.
00:14:12.787 --> 00:14:26.326
I was able to sit down and say, well, first thing I was able to do, which now this is like the steps in receiving information you know, apply them to yourself if you want this.
00:14:26.326 --> 00:14:40.903
First, I was able to just say oh, I'm not going to logically start trying to analyze this, I'm just going to give it 24 hours and just facts, or facts?
00:14:40.903 --> 00:14:45.033
Let me emotionally respond to it personally.
00:14:45.495 --> 00:14:49.029
Yeah, let me just see what, instead of doing a reaction or email immediately?
00:14:49.029 --> 00:14:50.794
Exactly how could you possibly?
00:14:50.934 --> 00:14:51.716
Yeah, any of that.
00:14:51.884 --> 00:14:52.748
Why was this going on?
00:14:52.748 --> 00:14:53.991
Yeah, yeah.
00:14:54.764 --> 00:14:56.860
So first it's just like okay, noted.
00:14:56.860 --> 00:14:57.686
And.
00:14:57.686 --> 00:14:58.047
I didn't.
00:14:58.467 --> 00:15:07.347
You don't avoid either right, right, that's it doesn't text you for a week, so just reply and say, great, I'm going to think about this for a day and then we'll figure it out.
00:15:07.347 --> 00:15:22.950
So then, for me personally, that's given myself a day to not jump into decision making, you know a decision making stance, just to kind of allow myself and then feeling.
00:15:22.950 --> 00:15:41.091
What's been really cool is just feeling the emotions in the body and then the mind going okay, cool, what programmer we're going to use to analyze these emotions and then, instead of grabbing the old programs, which are just to apply a bunch of negativity to it, apply the new programs, which is okay, cool.
00:15:41.091 --> 00:15:42.446
What are you?
00:15:42.446 --> 00:15:44.714
What's the word attached to the feeling?
00:15:44.714 --> 00:15:47.730
What age do you feel, which I love it with my therapy?
00:15:47.730 --> 00:15:49.669
My therapist asked that question.
00:15:49.669 --> 00:15:52.412
I'm like I feel this and she's like what?
00:15:52.412 --> 00:15:53.335
How old are you?
00:15:54.225 --> 00:15:55.368
Yeah, what age do you feel this?
00:15:55.368 --> 00:15:56.770
Yeah, I've never done that.
00:15:56.770 --> 00:15:57.913
It's wild.
00:15:58.053 --> 00:16:04.754
Yeah, if you really think about it, then you'll go to that age and you'll go to a memory of being that.
00:16:04.754 --> 00:16:08.230
So then I'm like, okay, cool, what does that age feel like?
00:16:08.230 --> 00:16:13.354
You know, five, 12, whatever, or now you know.
00:16:13.354 --> 00:16:17.591
And then it's like, okay, cool, what is it, you know?
00:16:17.591 --> 00:16:25.554
Disappointment, frustration, fear, whatever those core things, fear against your basic need safety provision, shelter.
00:16:25.554 --> 00:16:35.964
Fear against or frustration against our Second need or whatever need, which is our ego, desire to be respected, all that kind of stuff.
00:16:35.964 --> 00:16:41.155
And and then say, okay, cool, and then not judge it, but to accept it.
00:16:41.155 --> 00:16:42.418
It's okay to feel that way.
00:16:42.418 --> 00:16:49.654
Process through it Mm-hmm Kind of for me so far it's been spent some time in that space.
00:16:49.654 --> 00:16:55.875
It's okay, just kind of read it's okay, reinforcing that yeah like it's okay to feel that way.
00:16:56.807 --> 00:16:58.052
Go to sleep, wake up.
00:16:58.052 --> 00:16:59.298
It's okay to feel that way.
00:16:59.298 --> 00:17:13.144
And then what I found myself next is Well, how does this relate to me personally, how does it relate to now and how does it relate to what I really want to give this world, that I feel like I have?
00:17:13.144 --> 00:17:13.887
Mm-hmm.
00:17:14.269 --> 00:17:29.305
So this morning I was in my head and Drop and guss off at school and I was just like as a visionary, I my mind goes to these details and and I quickly end up in these this is what this could be.
00:17:29.305 --> 00:17:36.137
Mm-hmm, right, not like pie in the sky, but, like you know me, like, yeah, all of the mechanics associated with it.
00:17:36.137 --> 00:17:36.659
Mm-hmm.
00:17:37.526 --> 00:17:55.675
So when I really was, when I came to a place to truly articulate the emotion for me personally, is in this concept of in material Mm-hmm, in the physical, like understanding that the physical is.
00:17:55.675 --> 00:18:00.329
You know, quantum physics suggests there is no, there is no hard matter.
00:18:00.329 --> 00:18:06.007
Everything is frequency, everything is waves, yeah, everything actually is movement, mm-hmm.
00:18:06.007 --> 00:18:31.744
So if we look beyond just the material and and for me asking, in the, in the concept of this whole construct, mm-hmm, I have in my mind Created what seems to be Something that could be really special, and it's not just any particular thing, it's the way my brain works, mm-hmm, right.
00:18:31.744 --> 00:18:40.576
And I think a lot of us, because a lot of us are creative, we see what could be Right, whether that's, we see what our kids could be, we see what our friends.
00:18:41.346 --> 00:18:48.230
We see what we could do, right, that's just kind of how we operate, yeah, but for me personally it was like Well, what I do with that now?
00:18:49.685 --> 00:18:50.429
Where does that go?
00:18:51.566 --> 00:19:04.652
Seeing the potential yeah, so I think for me, what I found and discovered as of this morning Is the negative Pain.
00:19:04.652 --> 00:19:14.651
Is I feel like I can contribute more value to the world that I'm currently giving?
00:19:15.334 --> 00:19:48.002
Yeah, it's not enough right and I feel like, when some of these things come up, or even in our podcast, sometimes it's like I Feel like we're being so transparent and honest and just Loosely sharing our Truths, truths and transformation, and it and sometimes and again negative, positive, whatever.
00:19:48.002 --> 00:19:53.678
Sometimes I'm like wouldn't that benefit more people than the 15 or 20 people that download the podcast?
00:19:53.678 --> 00:19:55.817
You know what I mean.
00:19:57.125 --> 00:20:01.641
Yeah and then it, and then it just really falls back to is this giving us value?
00:20:01.641 --> 00:20:03.808
And if it is, we'll keep doing it, and if it's not, we'll stop.
00:20:03.808 --> 00:20:07.472
Yeah, because that's all we can control.
00:20:07.472 --> 00:20:25.818
Yeah, but the letdown for me as I cool as I was able to attack, articulate it this morning was I Feel like I have more to give, that is being received, of the entire construct of the life that I live.
00:20:25.818 --> 00:20:27.125
Now.
00:20:27.125 --> 00:20:40.632
Whether that's true or not, it doesn't matter, mm-hmm, because right now I'm just able to articulate why I'm Not let down.
00:20:40.632 --> 00:20:42.704
But what's the word?
00:20:42.704 --> 00:20:46.056
Disappointed, disappointed?
00:20:46.056 --> 00:20:52.115
So now, today, tomorrow, I'll figure out what to do with that.
00:20:52.115 --> 00:20:57.351
But that's where I'm at yeah.
00:20:58.247 --> 00:21:01.224
So what's funny and what's great about all this is in this introspective.
00:21:01.224 --> 00:21:03.871
It has nothing to do with anyone or anything externally.
00:21:03.871 --> 00:21:14.135
This is all me processing, taking, allowing an external material yeah right.
00:21:14.135 --> 00:21:14.737
Mm-hmm.
00:21:15.976 --> 00:21:16.884
And this makes sense to us.
00:21:16.884 --> 00:21:25.984
I don't know if it does the listener, because we're, you know, going through this whole material world, spiritual world thing, but, like quantum physics thing, I'm just throwing out some words out there.
00:21:25.984 --> 00:21:34.777
So if you, if you stick, if any of them are sticky for you in listening to this but it has nothing to do with the material, it has absolutely nothing.
00:21:34.777 --> 00:21:41.105
What's cool about the process is realizing it's all internal and doing the introspective work is I can make it.
00:21:41.105 --> 00:21:46.136
I can take any circumstance and apply it to how I want to grow as an individual.
00:21:46.886 --> 00:21:47.891
You taking your power back.
00:21:48.311 --> 00:22:00.577
Yeah, because, regardless of what's happened externally, whether right you this thing, this project, whether it's the podcast, whether it's a project with somebody, you are not an effect of outside circumstances.
00:22:00.577 --> 00:22:03.210
In this moment.
00:22:03.210 --> 00:22:05.891
I'll say you're less of effect.
00:22:05.891 --> 00:22:27.251
I'm choosing to take in particular external event right and using that event to evoke the emotions, to process the emotions, to Use that as a moment to better understand myself right Instead of completely reactionary.
00:22:27.573 --> 00:22:29.440
Yeah, or completely staying in the material.
00:22:29.440 --> 00:22:30.805
Well, what should I do?
00:22:30.805 --> 00:22:31.567
What are we gonna do?
00:22:31.567 --> 00:22:32.147
How?
00:22:32.147 --> 00:22:34.193
What's the next iteration, what's the next phase?
00:22:34.193 --> 00:22:35.517
You know what I'm saying?
00:22:35.517 --> 00:22:50.186
So, and I don't know if that's the right thing to do, I don't really know, but that's what I'm choosing to do right now because obviously there still is the material, there still is the thing, but there's.
00:22:50.186 --> 00:23:06.933
For me you know, I'm an entrepreneur, I got a lot of ideas there's always gonna be a thing, always, always always, always, always and as I'm Really sinking into this idea of curious and creative, With no boundaries for the rest of my life.
00:23:07.645 --> 00:23:15.392
Then there's even more, then there's even more, than it never ends yeah so that's how I'm I.
00:23:17.566 --> 00:23:17.846
Like it.
00:23:17.846 --> 00:23:20.935
We were talking about this yesterday, but it's a little bit of.
00:23:20.935 --> 00:23:30.058
My teacher calls it the analyzer, but it's a little bit of stepping out of the analyzer, so much.
00:23:30.058 --> 00:23:34.153
Hmm, because the anal, your brain, your brain, right.
00:23:34.153 --> 00:23:36.846
The analyzer has Baggage.
00:23:36.846 --> 00:23:38.248
It has the.
00:23:38.248 --> 00:24:00.674
It's easy to be scripted and programmed, yeah, and you have the amygdala with the fear response yeah, and so it's moving out of that and going more into the intuition based type living, not saying that's easy, yeah, the goal right, at least, at least we got a goal.
00:24:00.674 --> 00:24:08.049
But yeah, and even understanding that there's, there's a difference, yeah, in this whole thing.
00:24:08.049 --> 00:24:13.096
Because the brain I'm not I'm not ripping on the brain, yeah, but it has some.
00:24:13.096 --> 00:24:28.817
It has some things that make it Uh irritating sometimes, like the amygdala, the flight or flight, all this that just makes you sit there and worry and sesame about is it gonna work?
00:24:28.817 --> 00:24:29.720
What should I do next?
00:24:29.901 --> 00:24:43.059
How is this gonna yada yada, yada and and then when you, when you breathe, you know the right way and you slip out of that into the parasympathetic nerve and then all that melts away.
00:24:43.059 --> 00:24:51.009
No, and then you start to operate from a more Calm state and you're not completely stuck in the analyzer.
00:24:51.009 --> 00:24:55.241
Yeah, so that's part of it.
00:24:55.241 --> 00:25:01.173
Yeah, and it's not something that you just do overnight like, hey, I'm done with the analyzer.
00:25:01.173 --> 00:25:06.710
So anyway, yeah, stepping into that a little bit, but yeah, what's a good point?
00:25:06.750 --> 00:25:15.229
We were talking yesterday and I learned this from another expert and a very different methodology that I went to this week.
00:25:15.229 --> 00:25:21.471
It was pretty cool, but she said a phrase and I was just like it just punched me in the face because it was so good.
00:25:21.471 --> 00:25:26.605
She's like, well, yeah, the subconscious doesn't even see the world.
00:25:26.605 --> 00:25:31.265
It's inside the brain like, it's inside the like, it's an aware of time.
00:25:31.265 --> 00:25:41.553
Time doesn't exist to the subconscious, there's no such thing as time, and that's why you can fear a terrorist attack and have the anxiety right now, in the moment.
00:25:41.701 --> 00:25:43.720
Yeah if that terrorist attack is happening, yeah.
00:25:43.921 --> 00:25:49.903
If your neighbor's house got broken into and you imagine someone breaking into your house while you're lying in bed at night, your heart rate goes up.
00:25:49.982 --> 00:25:53.391
Yeah, you know your brain, You're not really thinks someone is breaking in.
00:25:53.451 --> 00:25:56.025
You're not running, yeah, you're just laying in bed.
00:25:56.025 --> 00:26:01.731
Yeah how does that, how does a physiologic Corresponds like that happen, which is crazy and your adrenaline spikes.
00:26:01.731 --> 00:26:02.333
I've done it.
00:26:02.333 --> 00:26:04.650
We've all sat there and thought about you know, your camping.
00:26:04.650 --> 00:26:06.900
You think about the, the murderer the murder.
00:26:06.900 --> 00:26:12.333
I would do the tent 20 times realize what's going on big foot or whatever your thing is that you think about when you?
00:26:13.061 --> 00:26:17.063
know just the serial killer and Definitely white, of course.
00:26:17.063 --> 00:26:25.400
But, um, yeah, so to your point, the analyzer is attached to that amygdala.
00:26:25.400 --> 00:26:31.913
Yeah, so then the second you start analyzing all of the then your subconscious doesn't know time or space like that.
00:26:32.800 --> 00:26:34.224
For all it knows it's happening right now.
00:26:34.224 --> 00:26:37.332
Yeah, so it feels real and then bam fear state.
00:26:37.332 --> 00:26:39.263
It's pretty amazing.
00:26:39.263 --> 00:26:41.450
Yeah but also irritating.
00:26:41.450 --> 00:26:44.346
Well, it's something to understand.
00:26:44.606 --> 00:27:13.863
00:27:13.863 --> 00:27:15.066
Yeah, I was able to.
00:27:15.066 --> 00:27:21.226
The emotions were over here and the ability to choose what program I was going to run to process the emotions.
00:27:21.546 --> 00:27:29.631
I literally it was like three different components were happening in my whole, being the emotions which came from the body, the gut and the chest.
00:27:29.631 --> 00:27:35.353
Mm-hmm, and then my logical brain was literally said what program do you want to run?
00:27:35.353 --> 00:27:52.090
Literally said that, mm-hmm, and then I got to pick the program and then I got to apply the program to the emotions and after 41 years of living, breathing in this lifetime and 14 months of and I've on, I'm on session 39 of therapy.
00:27:52.090 --> 00:28:02.943
I've done a umdr sessions, I've done Psychedelic psycho, psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.
00:28:02.943 --> 00:28:04.286
I've done breath work.
00:28:04.286 --> 00:28:08.153
I've done some neurological work.
00:28:08.153 --> 00:28:16.208
After all that, yeah, I was able to and I didn't try to do it.
00:28:16.407 --> 00:28:18.433
Yeah, it wasn't like I wasn't the goal for the week.
00:28:18.654 --> 00:28:22.386
Yeah, I didn't get news and been like, okay, cool, okay, okay, this is how I'm gonna do this.
00:28:22.386 --> 00:28:26.344
It was literally just like that was that's how it operated.
00:28:26.344 --> 00:28:28.929
Yeah, which is I even?
00:28:28.929 --> 00:28:33.965
As it was happening, I was just like, oh Wow, thank you, thank you self.
00:28:33.965 --> 00:28:35.471
I think this is cool.
00:28:35.471 --> 00:28:38.118
It was good acknowledgement, too for all the work.
00:28:38.118 --> 00:28:48.643
Yeah, you know, yeah, because if you do all this and then all of a sudden something happens and you're just in a fear state and you think you're a piece of and you're worthless, it's just like Well, what was that?
00:28:48.663 --> 00:28:49.326
What have I been doing?
00:28:49.326 --> 00:28:52.063
What am I doing with myself?
00:28:52.063 --> 00:28:55.871
You know what have I been doing for, you know, 14 months.
00:28:56.211 --> 00:28:57.554
Yeah, it's a lot of money.
00:28:59.863 --> 00:29:00.305
So anyway.
00:29:00.305 --> 00:29:02.016
So, yeah, that's great bro.
00:29:02.016 --> 00:29:02.579
Yeah, it's cool.
00:29:02.579 --> 00:29:12.625
I'm also not not in the way you described it, but intentionally trying to operate less from the analyzer.
00:29:12.625 --> 00:29:14.710
Yeah, as I call it.
00:29:14.710 --> 00:29:21.375
Yeah, the brain, because of you know, because you can get stuck in those loops.
00:29:21.375 --> 00:29:24.503
Yeah, of the fud, I call it fud.
00:29:24.503 --> 00:29:33.122
The fear, uncertainty and doubt the fud loops so operating less from the, from the brain, and more from Wholeness.
00:29:33.122 --> 00:29:39.386
Being this Ground, whatever the, whatever the hell, you, whatever your term is, yeah, soul spirit, I don't really care.
00:29:39.868 --> 00:29:41.958
I don't like, I don't like to get bogged down with syntax.
00:29:42.179 --> 00:29:42.299
Yeah.
00:29:43.184 --> 00:29:43.929
I don't see the point.
00:29:44.069 --> 00:29:51.940
Yeah, we're all trying to do the same, right, yeah, so I think by far the majority of human beings don't want to live in a fear state where they feel like they're gonna die.
00:29:51.940 --> 00:29:52.903
Right, do you?
00:29:52.942 --> 00:29:53.625
want more options.
00:29:53.625 --> 00:29:54.528
Do you want less options?
00:29:55.109 --> 00:29:55.290
Yeah.
00:29:56.161 --> 00:29:57.845
Do you want to feel more freedom or less freedom?
00:29:57.845 --> 00:29:58.566
Yeah, okay.
00:29:58.727 --> 00:30:00.510
Yeah, we're all trying to do the same thing here.
00:30:00.510 --> 00:30:01.653
Yeah, you know.
00:30:03.141 --> 00:30:05.387
Everyone wants love yeah, unconditioned.
00:30:05.387 --> 00:30:12.640
Everyone wants to feel like they have an option yeah, more options, yeah, and less constraints boom, okay.
00:30:12.640 --> 00:30:16.932
So, yeah, less trying to get out of the brain as much and get into the.
00:30:18.461 --> 00:30:24.554
Yeah, if you're trying, if you're stuck on what term to use to get out of the analyzer, you might be operating it within the analyzer.
00:30:26.441 --> 00:30:33.303
Well, and that's a, that's a program, because I mean same thing with you know who is.
00:30:33.303 --> 00:30:37.396
When people talk about, all paths end up pretty much leading, yeah, to the same place.
00:30:37.396 --> 00:30:45.318
Like you know, you can see like scientists they become, like they believe in God after 30, 40 years, yeah, and you're like, how does that work?
00:30:45.559 --> 00:30:49.102
Yeah and then people who are Whatever.
00:30:49.102 --> 00:30:57.787
Maybe they worked in a Hospice, yeah, you know, but you're just doing something intentionally for years and years.
00:30:57.787 --> 00:31:02.365
You kind of notice that a lot of times people end up Towards a similar conclusion.
00:31:02.365 --> 00:31:08.180
Yeah, so is there a wrong or right path?
00:31:10.727 --> 00:31:14.676
I mean, considering there's infinite possibilities.
00:31:14.676 --> 00:31:16.508
How could there only be one path?
00:31:16.508 --> 00:31:25.734
Yeah, I don't know, so anyway, and how someone arrives at feeling, that's more of a feeling yeah, but yeah.
00:31:25.734 --> 00:31:29.109
I mean it's tragic.
00:31:29.109 --> 00:31:38.971
I was watching the show last night and the kid, it's really weird because one of the main characters, his name is Gus and he's non-verbal.
00:31:38.971 --> 00:31:42.890
I didn't watch it because of that, I just thought that was pretty strange.
00:31:42.890 --> 00:31:45.270
You know, they say you start seeing more patterns.
00:31:45.704 --> 00:31:48.654
Yeah, you seeing some patterns, seeing some patterns.
00:31:48.654 --> 00:31:49.930
I tell you what pattern I'm seeing.
00:31:49.930 --> 00:31:52.452
I see more forerunners on the road now that I own one.
00:31:54.285 --> 00:31:54.787
You know what I'll.
00:31:54.787 --> 00:31:55.569
You know what pattern.
00:31:55.569 --> 00:31:59.444
Next episode we're going to talk about manifestation cause.
00:31:59.444 --> 00:32:03.371
I actually love that subject, yeah, and I love being cheeky about the subject too.
00:32:03.371 --> 00:32:08.616
So but you know what I want to quote manifest.
00:32:08.785 --> 00:32:09.808
What you manifest in bro.
00:32:11.184 --> 00:32:21.811
Once we get the runners wrapped and we keep developing engaging content on forerunner gunner, all those forerunners are like we get the forerunner gunner wave.
00:32:23.585 --> 00:32:26.303
That's what I'm saying have you been doing it?
00:32:26.303 --> 00:32:27.247
Have you been doing it to others?
00:32:28.148 --> 00:32:29.393
No, I guess I gotta start.
00:32:29.393 --> 00:32:30.355
Good challenge.
00:32:30.355 --> 00:32:35.134
I just feel like motorcycle culture is cool.
00:32:35.484 --> 00:32:36.508
Yeah, that they all wave at each other.
00:32:36.508 --> 00:32:37.309
Yeah, that's cool.
00:32:37.309 --> 00:32:38.673
They have an understanding, they do.
00:32:38.673 --> 00:32:43.275
So then the forerunner culture, or forerunner culture, yeah, toyota.
00:32:44.365 --> 00:32:56.815
But then there's Jeep culture and Jeeps wave at each other, but I think the forerunner culture doesn't wave at each other in despite what's the word.
00:32:56.815 --> 00:33:05.730
And to yeah, whatever that word is Because Jeep culture does that.
00:33:05.730 --> 00:33:07.929
So I think forerunners don't do it Because they're too cool.
00:33:07.929 --> 00:33:10.836
They're too cool, but I don't know.
00:33:10.836 --> 00:33:17.147
I don't know I'm still new to the whole like being snobby in a subculture Because I've always been.
00:33:17.147 --> 00:33:20.653
I've always blended subcultures in my whole life.
00:33:21.054 --> 00:33:25.689
Yeah, the whole Jeep and Toyota thing is pretty funny, yeah, but I gotta be honest with you.
00:33:27.066 --> 00:33:29.713
I really want to ask this question what's that To me?
00:33:29.713 --> 00:33:31.297
What is the point of the ducks?
00:33:32.105 --> 00:33:35.030
I don't know, I haven't, I haven't understood that yet.
00:33:35.785 --> 00:33:44.051
Cause it seems kinda and maybe this is me being a snobby Toyota guy it seems kinda cheesy, Cheesy.
00:33:44.634 --> 00:33:45.415
Yeah, that's the nicest word.
00:33:45.415 --> 00:33:48.493
That's the nicest way you can put it right now on this episode.
00:33:48.744 --> 00:33:50.780
But maybe I just don't understand it.
00:33:50.801 --> 00:33:51.064
I don't know.
00:33:51.064 --> 00:33:51.665
We should.
00:33:51.665 --> 00:33:53.510
We should figure out the where it started.
00:33:53.510 --> 00:33:54.333
How did it start?
00:33:54.333 --> 00:33:54.773
What is it?
00:33:54.773 --> 00:33:55.675
What does it represent?
00:33:55.675 --> 00:33:56.506
What is the?
00:33:56.526 --> 00:33:57.249
point.
00:33:57.249 --> 00:33:57.851
We'll look that up.
00:33:57.851 --> 00:34:12.190
Anyway, in conclusion, yeah, this morning I asked myself, I was like I'm starting to see some clarity on what I would like to pursue pretty heavy.
00:34:12.190 --> 00:34:15.222
Yeah, I'm taking action to do it.
00:34:15.222 --> 00:34:23.030
You know, in in this life, I think when we talked about purpose it's funny I brought up a point but I didn't conclude the main point.
00:34:23.030 --> 00:34:27.929
I went back and listened to the episode and I was like man, I went on a rant and I didn't even conclude the rant, so it just sounded like a stupid rant.
00:34:27.929 --> 00:34:37.047
But we're talking about purpose and I believe that there's no, there's no one thing that you're supposed to do in this world and you better find it or you waste your life.
00:34:37.047 --> 00:34:38.213
Yeah, of course not.
00:34:38.344 --> 00:34:43.592
I don't believe that, and I brought up the analogy of a girlfriend it's like, or a wife or a significant other.
00:34:43.592 --> 00:34:46.088
I was like I don't think there's one soulmate in this world.
00:34:46.088 --> 00:34:47.365
But I was.
00:34:47.365 --> 00:34:49.072
I failed to tie that back to purpose.
00:34:49.072 --> 00:34:56.632
So I don't think there's just one soulmate in this world out of eight billion people and you gotta go find that person or you know the rest of your life's gonna be miserable.
00:34:56.632 --> 00:34:58.431
I don't think there's one thing.
00:34:58.431 --> 00:35:00.251
I think, to your point, there's options.
00:35:00.251 --> 00:35:00.606
We can.
00:35:00.606 --> 00:35:04.853
Once we understand who we are, we can do whatever right.
00:35:05.545 --> 00:35:10.452
As long as we reflect on conditional love and gratitude, yeah this is stepping.
00:35:11.184 --> 00:35:14.414
That is stepping into more of the why you're doing it than the what you're doing.
00:35:14.724 --> 00:35:15.869
Yeah, yeah.
00:35:16.144 --> 00:35:16.867
You wanna help people?
00:35:16.867 --> 00:35:18.208
Cool, there's a billion ways.
00:35:18.208 --> 00:35:19.052
Yeah.
00:35:19.052 --> 00:35:21.592
You know, find one that you like.
00:35:21.592 --> 00:35:24.173
There's probably 10, there's probably a thousand ways you like doing it.
00:35:24.173 --> 00:35:24.525
Yeah.
00:35:24.525 --> 00:35:26.489
And being creative.
00:35:27.085 --> 00:35:28.030
Yeah, you wanna be creative.
00:35:28.030 --> 00:35:29.188
There's a million ways to do that.
00:35:29.188 --> 00:35:29.690
Yeah.
00:35:29.690 --> 00:35:31.871
So I'm starting to see that.
00:35:31.871 --> 00:35:44.409
But so, as I kinda go through this process, over the past year, when I sold out of the last company, I just started doing stuff, a lot of stuff, cause that's natural for me, yeah.
00:35:44.409 --> 00:35:57.329
So now, really, the transition that I've, I'll say, been forced to go through but I allowed myself to be forced to go through- you yeah, Is now to your point.
00:35:57.329 --> 00:35:59.376
Why am I doing all these things?
00:35:59.605 --> 00:36:04.088
Yeah, stepping into the why, and then when you really ask yourself that a lot changed right.
00:36:05.465 --> 00:36:06.510
Everything has changed.
00:36:06.510 --> 00:36:12.177
Everything, yeah, everything.
00:36:12.177 --> 00:36:38.972
So what's cool is now seeing that the material world, driven by the material world, going into an a ton of internal work and then coming back to the material world and it may look the same, but my presence and groundedness and my point of view yeah, your viewpoint changed Is absolutely radically different.
00:36:38.972 --> 00:36:45.329
So as I now look at, okay, cool, what do I wanna do?
00:36:45.329 --> 00:36:55.894
It's not out of a program of I need to prove my value, I need them to see my value, all that kind of stuff.
00:36:55.894 --> 00:36:57.811
It's just more like, what do I wanna do?
00:36:57.811 --> 00:36:59.891
Like, it's just that simple.
00:36:59.891 --> 00:37:06.556
And then what, within this time period of this world?
00:37:06.724 --> 00:37:08.692
and the tools we have and the resources we have.
00:37:08.692 --> 00:37:13.731
What's that gonna look like, but anyway, so yeah.
00:37:16.976 --> 00:37:19.329
Cool, I think that's it.
00:37:19.811 --> 00:37:20.192
That's it.
00:37:20.192 --> 00:37:20.753
That's all I got.
00:37:20.753 --> 00:37:21.965
I like it.
00:37:22.965 --> 00:37:27.775
Higher viewpoints and less analyzing and more intuition.
00:37:28.096 --> 00:37:31.090
Yeah, and just keep doing the work.
00:37:31.090 --> 00:37:34.487
For me, it's just keep doing the work, just getting started.
00:37:34.487 --> 00:37:35.226
Yeah.
00:37:36.724 --> 00:37:42.771
I think as much as you can accomplish in life, it's pretty heavily determined on how much you're willing to work on yourself.
00:37:42.771 --> 00:37:43.333
Yeah.
00:37:44.666 --> 00:37:44.907
Yeah.
00:37:44.907 --> 00:37:51.452
You know, If the ability to be curious and creative are absolutely endless and has no bounds.
00:37:51.452 --> 00:37:57.072
Yeah, for me, my motivation is to keep doing the inner work.
00:37:57.552 --> 00:38:00.228
Yeah, so I can See the possibilities more clearly.
00:38:00.228 --> 00:38:00.708
Yeah.
00:38:00.708 --> 00:38:02.914
Yeah.
00:38:02.914 --> 00:38:03.726
Cause.
00:38:03.726 --> 00:38:10.855
If there's one thing that FUD the fear, uncertainty in del du is, it narrows your ability to see the possibilities.
00:38:10.855 --> 00:38:11.536
Yeah.
00:38:11.536 --> 00:38:13.007
It gives you that tunnel vision.
00:38:13.309 --> 00:38:13.690
Yeah.
00:38:14.326 --> 00:38:17.105
And it makes you feel like you have less options.
00:38:17.105 --> 00:38:24.472
There's a terrible feeling, yeah, so I'd like to reduce that as much as possible, yeah.
00:38:25.954 --> 00:38:26.416
That's good.
00:38:26.416 --> 00:38:27.938
So there we go.
00:38:27.938 --> 00:38:28.405
Same thing else.
