Aditi met her husband in calculus class freshman year of college. He was all in on pre-med from day one. She was still finding her way, and she told me with a laugh that she still kind of is. Over the next two decades, medicine would shape not just his life but hers, one city, one overnight call, one pivot at a time. Residency in the Mid-Atlantic. Fellowship in Houston. An academic medicine career that has never really slowed down. And alongside all of it, Aditi, rebuilding from scratch in places where she knew nobody.
She graduated law school the same year he started internship. She took the Texas bar exam pregnant with her second daughter. She worked as a legal editor, taught barre classes for a year, returned to a law firm, left when the environment became toxic, and eventually found her way into real estate, physician relocation specifically.
