Small Spaces

Hey Creepers! Welcome to another spine-tingling episode of our scary story series! Harold had always found solace in small spaces, a trait rooted in a traumatic childhood spent locked in a cage by his sickly mother. As an adult, he lived reclusively in a tiny studio apartment, finding comfort in its confined quarters. When he met Claire, a quirky and eccentric woman, her warmth and love transformed his world. They married quickly, moving to Claire's spacious home on acres of isolated land.

However, the vastness of their new home soon unsettled Harold. He grew increasingly paranoid, boarding up windows and closing off rooms, creating a fortress within the living room where he confined himself. Claire, overwhelmed by loneliness and fear, pleaded for a divorce, but Harold's irrational thoughts had taken over.

One day, Claire returned home to find the living room empty and a noise emanating from the basement. Hopeful that Harold had come to his senses, she descended the stairs, only to discover his fortress relocated there. As she called out to him, Harold appeared, locking the basement door and pushing her into a small cage reminiscent of his childhood prison. "This is for your own good," he said, his calm demeanor contrasting with Claire's desperate screams for help. Trapped and alone, Claire's pleas echoed in the cold, dark basement, marking the beginning of her own confinement.
