Casually Caffeinated

This week I finally got to meet and hang with local DJ Chris Phleck for the first time. We’ve been playing many of the same SF venues for the past 16 years, often crossing the same dance floors and circles without ever actually meeting — until today, when we finally connected at the studio.

Chris is also part of the Janky Barge camp at Burning Man, and he brought that same sense of eclecticism to the decks with a seamless selection moving through Italo, Disco, New Wave, House, edits and more — connecting classic dancefloor favorites with fresh reworks and unexpected turns along the way.

Sixteen years of playing in the same city, and we finally got in the same room. Better late than never. Episode #481
