96" Dagger from the Toffees at the death

This week, we are reacting to a deeply frustrating 2-2 draw away at Everton. Going from a 5-2 high-scoring fest at home against Ipswich to dropping points on Merseyside within a week is peak Manchester United.

We break down the shockingly poor game management in the dying moments, analysing exactly how we let Ainsley Maitland-Niles snatch two points from us at the absolute death with a 96th-minute stunner right after Benjamin Šeško thought he'd won it for us.

We try to shake off this bitter pill and turn our hopes toward Thursday night, when Michael Carrick's men finally welcome Champions League football back to Old Trafford with our opening clash against Sabah.

Episode Talking Points:

• The Goodison Collapse: Analysing the poor game management in the dying moments and how we allowed Ainsley Maitland-Niles too much space for his 96th-minute equalizer.

• Peak Manchester United: Navigating the massive emotional swing from dismantling Ipswich 5-2 at home to throwing away vital away points just days later.

• Šeško's False Dawn: Reacting to Benjamin Šeško's late goal that seemed guaranteed to seal all three points.

• European Nights Return: Shifting focus to Thursday as Michael Carrick's side prepares to host Sabah FK under the Old Trafford lights for our opening Champions League fixture.
